Can’t tell you how many times I drove 20 minutes across town to the Kettering or Dayton mall locations with my child to work out only to find a sign taped out front stating “childcare closed”. Such a huge inconvenience. A text or email would be nice. I shouldn’t have to call every time to check if childcare will be open.

I would encourage you to scrutinize over every line of the contract before signing, don’t take the managers word at face value. I was told the contract was a simple, cancel any time deal structure. I was recently relocated for work and in order to cancel had to provide an abundance of personal information to “prove” that I actually moved. After doing so I am still being charged my monthly fee dispute calling and emailing the owning company multiple times. The fact they are still operating and haven’t had BBB knocking is amazing to me considering how many reviews of similar experiences seem to occur.

One of the most unprofessional and shady gym experiences I’ve ever had. A staff member essentially demanded cash from my friend in a way that felt more like extortion than a guest fee. Instead of any accountability afterward, I was met with a dismissive and passive-aggressive message telling me to “take a picture of the sign so you know” when guest hours are — as if the blame was on me, not their lack of communication or transparency.

This was supposed to be a first-time visit, and instead it felt like being scammed. No clear guest pass policy, no professionalism, and absolutely no sense of respect for customers. Management needs to address this immediately — until then, I strongly advise avoiding this place.

The owner responds with CHATGPT & leaves in the subtext prompts because they can’t even be bothered to read due to negligence, also take note of how all responses are direct & assertive & meant to CORRECT US as clients. Huge ego problem.

When I went to join the manager said you can cancel it anytime you want and while I was checkong everything when it was about terms and agreement the guy said "O it's nothing special just click I agree on it" after a few months I had to move somewhere else and I ask them to cancel my subscriptions....I was amazed to know that I signed a contract with them for 36 month which I don’t even know I agreed... they tricked me.... worst management ever.... worst and shitty

I joined the Miamisburg location I paid upfront and was told there was a special with one month free but was charged again the following month and they make it next to impossible to cancel continue to charge your card just liars and scammers not even that great of a gym very judgmental I wouldn’t recommend!!! They say they provide childcare but the lady was on her phone mostly and had to come find us after 20 mins from my child crying. My child is an easy child very seldom cry’s and when we got her to the car she had a huge lump on her head. That’s not actual childcare that I would trust to use.I blocked them as a merchant on my bank account finally even though I’ve emailed financial a few times and called many times. They make it difficult to cancel on purpose. *** Update August 2025 I’ve had someone call me screaming at me as soon as I answered the phone some man that I must pay or go to court literally screaming this is a joke I went to that gym twice the first month tried to cancel! Had to block them at my bank because they make it impossible to cancel and now have a grown man yelling aggressively on the phone at me. Caused me to have a full blown panic attack. I strongly advise against joining this gym. Based on my experience, I don’t believe it's run with transparency or a strong commitment to customer service.

Be aware: you will almost certainly be required to sign a 3-year contract that you cannot cancel at will. Regardless of what you’re told during your visit, I highly recommend reading the full contract online beforehand. I personally wouldn’t trust verbal assurances. In my opinion, the general manager may not always be forthcoming with prospective members. If you don't read the contract in full before visiting the location, you are doing yourself a disservice.

Billing issues are handled through a third-party company, which likely makes it very difficult to get clear answers or resolve problems. They can take your money easily, but unsurprisingly, getting a refund or resolution feels unnecessarily difficult.

While you’ll see many 5-star reviews praising the general manager, I personally question their authenticity. During my time there, he asked me and a friend to leave a 5-star review in exchange for free merchandise. We have not received the merchandise yet, and that left me feeling manipulated and disappointed. So I personally believe that many of the positive reviews were written under the same false pretenses.

If you value integrity and honest communication, I recommend looking elsewhere. This review reflects my personal experience and opinions—but if you’re considering this gym, take time to read the 1-star reviews. I believe they more accurately reflect Everybody Fitness than the positive reviews. Many echo similar concerns and frustrations.

On a positive note: Josh, the custodian, is wonderful. He’s respectful, hardworking, and professional. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about the management. And the gym is clean.

I joined this place with the sole intention of getting fit and learning martial arts. They have a SPECIFIC ROOM for martial arts on the top floor. Over the 2 years I have been there I noticed the same people watching me silently. I started to record myself practicing martial arts and that's when the BULLYING really started to occur. Weather it was due to me being fat at the time or my skin color is un clear. But the final nail in the coffin was when I had finished my workout in the morning like I usually do, and as I was leaving the parking lot in my vehicle another car came following me out of the parking lot. They ended up following me for miles, where eventually I had to drive to a school parking lot. I got out of my vehicle to take a picture of his license plate and he started attacking me. Do not go to this gym if your colored or learning martial arts.

I have been to many gyms in the area and started coming here out of convenience to avoid long drives. As of today I have been a member going on over 6 years and can definitely attest to the community that exists within this place. I’ve made great friends and have always felt encouraged and challenged. There are amazing trainers and have never been hauled from my workouts because there is more than enough equipment. Yeah there are contracts but at this point if you are serious about your fitness journey then that won’t matter. I've been a member of this gym since it was Premier Fitness back in 2013. At first, I was apprehensive about signing a 3 year contract, but I told myself this was to make me accountable to continue to show up. And I did just that. After 3 years, my membership fees went down, and it became a month to month payment.

I know there are many people that aren't happy for whatever reason, like payment late fees, equipment breaking down, etc... But it is a business with a decent number of people that put wear and tear on things. This particular gym has a wide variety of machines and weights that if one specific machine is out of order, there are several other ways to hit that muscle group.

My overall perception is that if you come in, keep realistic expectations, and mind your business, you'll have a good workout here. I've never had an issue with the staff because I always pay on time, keep to myself, and treat the equipment/gym with respect. There will always be some "problem" person or member no matter where you go. If you just want to lift and move on with your day, it's a good place to be.

The manager, Jeff, always says hello and goodbye to me every time I come in. Some people don't like him because he makes people follow the rules and doesn't allow for members to let non-members in after hours. Seems fair to me because it is a business. But at the end of the day, people are entitled to their opinions! If you want to lift heavy and push yourself, come give this place a try. If you struggle with consistency or whatever reason you have, there are cheap, non-serious lifting gyms in the area to go to!

Great gym I have been frequenting for 3 years now. The place has legit everything you would want or need (except basketball). Some of the equipment is older, but everything is well maintained and regularly serviced. The manager, Jeff, is a super down to earth guy. He is pretty much always there. If there are any problems or concerns, Jeff is very quick to address them, and he maintains a very safe environment. The custodians are awesome people who work very hard to keep the gym clean. I’ve been a member at Everybody Fitness since April 2024, and overall, I’ve had a solid experience here. When I first joined, Jeff—the manager—was super welcoming and down-to-earth. I mentioned that I create fitness content and he was very open and supportive of that, which really stood out to me.

Yes, the gym is a bit outdated in terms of equipment and appearance, but there’s a lot of equipment here. If something starts to wear down, there’s usually an alternative available. What really matters to me is space and versatility—and this gym delivers. It’s spacious, has a solid selection of machines and free weights, and includes a sauna, turf, sleds, tires, and more. As someone training for powerlifting and dynamic conditioning, I can get everything done here.

The vibe is very much that gritty, hard-working, no-frills environment that makes you feel like you’re really putting in work. It’s not a flashy, boutique-style gym—it feels more like the kind of place where bodybuilders and serious lifters would feel right at home.

There have been a few times where I felt things could’ve been a little cleaner, but anytime there’s been an issue, management seems quick to address it. If a staff member isn’t doing their job, they don’t hesitate to make changes and improve things.

Overall, between the supportive staff and the real, get-it-done energy of the gym itself, I’ve had a great experience here. If you’re not worried about luxury and just want a place with solid equipment and a serious training vibe, I feel you may like it here.

I have been going to Centerville EBF for about a year now and I must say that every time I’ve been going here there is no single day this gym was not clean. There is always someone cleaning at all times, Jeff the manager is very welcoming and cares about the needs of every client. I love playing soccer , and they didn’t have a soccer ball at that time, the next day Jeff gave me a new soccer ball just so I can enjoy soccer in the nice tennis room they have.

If you love a gym that has amenities like saunas, areas dedicated to women, I would definitely recommend to join this fitness center , you won’t regret it!

Have been a member at this gym for the last few months and it has been a savior. Most gyms have strict hours and close on many days, but since this gym is 24/7, I don't need to worry. There's a wide variety of equipment, both cardio and strength training and always seem clean to me. The gym has an old style to it, which I love more than other commercial gyms, and Everybody Fitness definitely nailed it. They always have great music playing and have great monthly payment pricing (especially compared to nearby options!). BE CAREFUL WHEN OBTAINING A MEMBERSHIP AT THIS GYM. The guy who processes your membership is not honest about the contract he gets you to sign. He fails to include a lot of details and is not transparent. Some of these details include that it is a 3-year contract and that you cannot get out of the contract unless you move more than 25 miles away and you provide them with a new lease and bills in your name. I will take responsibility for not reading the contract in it's entirety, but the way it was rushed and how he does not include that it's a 3 year contract is not good business.

He knows what he’s doing, he pretended to be my friend and tricked me, told me there’s no contract, I go up there after months of not going to cancel and get into a verbal altercation with him over it cause he wanted to dismiss me. He gives me this card to call rise financial, they then tell me for the first time to my knowledge I'm in a 3 year contract I can’t get out of. It’s a load of crap and a money scheme. I would not have ever paid or given him my time if I knew. People will say it’s your job to know, but who will argue that it’s wrong to deliberately misrepresent yourself and what your selling to gain financially, some people would call it illegal and if I cared more I’d start a class action cause so many people have had the same experience.

I have been a member of this gym since 2008. Not always a regular meme bet until the last two years. While some equipment and interior spaces are dated, it is a great place to work out with something for everyone. Sure there are more state of the art gyms with new buildings but at the end of the day I feel like I’m working out with Arnold and Rocky😀. It is a friendly atmosphere and people are considerate.

Was a member here back in the day(90's) when it was the old Gold's Gym that came from the plaza down the road that had Children' Palace. I believe the place was called Glove & Racket before it became Gold's. Then at some point, it was renamed to Premiere Fitness. Fast forward to now, it's now called Everybody Fitness. Through all years and name changes, honestly, not much has changed. There is still equipment there from when I was a young lad. Today's workout was definitely a trip down memory lane. Heck I even streamed an old album I used to listen to on cassette tape with my Sony Walkman lol! As far as the gym, I still appreciate the old school equipment. There is some newer stuff(early 00's) as well. Good gym for an old head. However, the place does need some TLC. If you are one that requires fancy and the most up to date, state of the art equipment, then this place is not for you. If you are a gym bro, then welcome. While I'm not a member, and probably won't become one as I don't want a long contract...I would purchase another day pass and workout here again.

I’ve been going to this gym for many years and it has its perks of a woman’s side only but it’s FILTHY, and the equipment is old, unreliable, and let’s not talk about the regular creepy guys that has ran me out of the gym numerous times. There’s a cleaning staff that I have NEVER SEEN clean the dirty mirrors with the same smudges from 3-4 years ago or dust anything. Great gym chain, great equipment, great employees

Contract is for 3 years, which is an outdated billing system. Just be ready and understand. This is the only downside to this chain. All the negative reviews are for billing. Shoot them an email and they might work with you on case by case.

This is an odd, quirky kind of place that brings me back to the 80's. The equipment is older, but adequate and diverse. The Floorplan is a bit of a maze (men's bathroom is on the 2nd floor), but it's got character.

The best part about it (and EB Fitness in general) is that they refuse to endanger our mothers, wives, and daughters by letting men use their locker rooms.

So if you're currently at Planet Fitness and sick of the woke nonsense, come here. It's not as clean or as new, but you're not going to get fired as a client for complaining about bathroom creepers.

In fact, these folks already have it covered (see photo). BTW, all the one star reviews are from people who sign contracts without reading them first. Come check this place out.

Jeff at Everybody Fitness helped me set up an account today and was very professional, nice, and helpful. The gym was clean and looked very nice. I’m very excited for my first workout! UPDATE- he misinformed me on almost everything on my contract. After months of not even being aware that my information was being used for an account that my partner signed up for I received a phone call letting me know that I owe $900 and police could be involved. When I let him know what happened all he said was “yeah, that’s my bad but there’s nothing I can do.”

I love this place. I am completely awful at every machine and can hardly walk on the treadmill, however there are pictures on the machines that not only tell you what to do but also what muscles you are working on. It makes it easy for someone like me who knows nothing and is just starting out. There is also a sauna and tanning beds and best of all is a day care. I can bring my kid in and work off some stress on the women's only side of the gym or go to the everybody side. It's just really great

I asked to cancel due to health reasons. My doctor filled out the form they stupidly require because my HEALTH is none of their business. Come to find out the form isn’t good enough they have to speak with the doctors office to confirm that they in fact filled out the form. Obviously they did because I do not know my doctors license numbers. They called the doctor ONCE before the holidays and never me or them again to advise if anything else was needed. I call again because it’s about time for the monthly payment so I double checked that it was cancelled and they had all they needed. The phone rings and rings and after my third call in finally someone answers who clearly is foreign and is used to being yelled at all day because this place is a literal scam and they know it. Anyways, I ask if my account closed and they say no. I said okay that would have been nice to know because the monthly payment is about due. He said oh by the way don’t forget on the first you owe your annual renew basically insinuating they won’t have this process still completed though I started it before thanksgiving. This place is awful.

People set up camp and live in the locker room. If you decide you don’t want to pay to workout in a homeless shelter- like if you’re not comfortable with people shooting up and sleeping in the changing rooms where you pay a decent amount of money to come to exercise - and you want to cancel your membership… that’s going to cost you about $1000 because the staff doesn’t disclose they’re signing you up for a 3 YEAR contract.

I stopped in while traveling for work for the week. The gym has a ton of great equipment and space so everyone is not on top of each other. It has a lot of old school bodybuilding style machines. My wife called before I went in and was told we could do month to month, then told me the same thing literally as I signed up. They don’t let you see any of the contracts on the screen, you sign a little electronic pad which they pretty much copy and paste onto whatever they want. The men’s restroom is disgusting. The shower looks like something out of a prison. The sauna had been ripped out and is storage for their vacuum cleaners. The racquetball court is unusable with the promise of a basketball court being put in with ground still having never been broken for that. Places like this give gyms a bad name. Went in to see about joining up and get a quick tour. Seemed to have all the standard machines and standard free weights. The “track” isn’t worth even advertising, nowhere near long or big enough to do anything on without being a nuisance. Above is an area for what the guy missing an eye called a kickboxing gym or something like that, it’s a total joke. Had hardly any punching bags up and looked like they were a few good punches away from falling apart.

After the tour, we talked numbers, initial startup before even paying monthly would’ve been around $70 not including the $25 monthly fee. Every year they wanted to also charge a maintenance fee of $40 (might be wrong cant remember off the top of my head, there were a lot of fees). I asked about their cancellation policy, and he couldn’t give me an answer other than that it’s month to month and that the State of Ohio requires him to cancel within 3 days (uh huh…). So, I asked to take a contract home and look it over, initially he said he didn’t have any or any to email, then he wouldn’t give me one unless I was going to sign. MAJOR red flag, every gym I’ve gone to had no problem letting me read over the paperwork. Something doesn’t sit well with me at this place, it seems shady as hell. Pass on by this place and find something less shady and concerning.

Great gym. Never too busy, tons of weights/machines/cardio. Whoever picks the music does a good job. Tanning sauna daycare all nice. I don't take any classes but the trainer is very friendly and people seem to enjoy the classes. Think they lowered prices which is nice. Most days open 24 hrs

To sign up, it mentions something about a 3 year annual membership due and requires you to sign some "contract" without the terms of said contract actually clearly spelled out. It's also fairly unusual to need your Social Security number and other information just to sign up and join a gym. Both of these are definitely a sign of something shady and at the very least poor business practices so I came here to check reviews and see that it's apparently an ongoing scam to force people into 3 year contracts. Read your contract. Jeff is a liar. He will lie straight to your face about your contract details then run from you when confronted about his lies. You can’t opt out or cancel whenever you want, like you’re told. Your contract is not month to month, like you’re told. Your contract is MONTHLY billed for a year to 3 years. There’s hardly enough weights in the free weight area to support more than a couple ppl at a time. Multiple machines are broken. Never any weights located around hammer strength machines. Sauna is STILL broke. All bikes in the gym have at least one broken pedal or stretched belts. If you have any problems the staff are zero help. Go somewhere else. This Gym continues to get worse !!!

1. The Cross training room (HIIT equipment) is only available to personal training

2. Their "Racquetball Court" has a bucket of old soccer balls and rubber mat flooring.

3. The Sauna has not worked since I joined, although I was told it would get fixed soon. I joined June 2021.

4. They closed the only downstairs restroom to members and made it "Employees Only". For who? The one person they have staffed ?

5. The only equipment they have that is in halfway decent shape is in the "Women's Only" training area.

6. I only gave this gym a chance because it was the closest one geographically and I was under the impression it was month to month. Nope, just monthly billing. Not sure why you would advertise it that way unless you were trying to trick people.

I called the Centerville location to ask a few questions about signing up for a membership and what the membership included. The guy who answered the phone sounded agitated to be talking to me and then proceeded to tell me what a fantastic deal they're running and asked me to come in for a tour. I explained to him that I was on my way to work, I just had a few questions. He asked me two more times to come in for a tour and their open house, and I explained to him again that I cannot come in, I'm going to work. He told me that if I was not interested in coming in for a tour, then he was busy and had to go because he was helping another customer and currently in the middle of giving them a tour. This is definitely an excellent gym. I called to get information and Jeff was incredibly informative, even though I didn’t have much time to ask questions. When I came in, Jeff remembered talking to me. He gave me plenty of options without pressuring me, asked about my profession and schedule, and gave me the best options for my family and I. He also gave me the background of the business and you can tell he’s dedicated to making sure that people have a good experience and feel welcome. I saw a very diverse group of people, clean equipment, and a general atmosphere that lets you go in and meeting your goals. Jeff also told me about extra amenities just for my information. I didn’t feel any pressure to sign up, and that’s why I did. Great gym!

Diana and Jeff were super cordial and nice. Helped me get a membership and gave me a discount price. He also walked me through everything and made sure I knew what I was buying. The guy has a big personality and made my day. The lady is super amazing! She put together a price for me on text while I was at work! Love the gym and people!!!

This is one of the best gyms I have worked out in and I have been recommending it to everyone!! And the membership prices are phenomenal, very affordable. Have small kids and dont have a sitter, bring your child with you cause they even have a child care center in the gym. One of my favorite parts about the gym is that they even have a movie theater to watch your favorite movie while you are exercising!!! Awesome!!!

A good all purpose gym with all the options from old free weights to various cable and free movement machines. Staff is cool and facility is clean. Good place to train and not deal with a bunch social media "look at me" types

Everybody fitness Centerville is a great facility. Diana is very helpful super kind! For the moment I was here I felt welcomed , the staff is professional the equipment great , I would recommend this gym to everyone!
