Formerly called Fitness 4 All, the gym was sold and renamed Fitness 419. The sign outside has not yet been changed to reflect that. New ownership is on site more often than the old ownership and keeps equipment in working order. There has been an attempt to bring in new machines. The club is not overly full so there is not a big problem getting on equipment when you need it. Members have 24/7 access to the gym and the gym is kept clean. Membership rates are in line with other gyms in the area.

Have to come back and update this as the gym itself has had many improvements. The door is largely fixed by the app they now use to unlock it. The bathrooms are working and clean, the threat emails seem to be a thing of the past, and the playlists are pretty dope these days. Friendly staff at the desk before 7 and the billing has had far less issues.

There are some frayed cables, a couple zip ties here and there, and certainly some equipment selected after sorting by 'Lowest Price' (stair steppers in particular) but overall even with the slight price increase, I'd say it's well worth it for a well kept 24hr gym with good music.

I absolutely LOVE this gym and cannot recommend it enough! I have been taking the fitness classes with coach John and he has been instrumental in helping me find myself love for fitness again and pushing me to be the best version of myself! Between the wide range of fitness equipment, coaching, and classes, Fitness 419 has it all!

I started going here a year ago and it’s been my favorite gym in the Toledo area. Before I found this gym I had spent the last year trying out every gym within a 15 minute drive from the University. This gym is one of the farthest from me but it’s worth the extra couple minutes because it really is my favorite. The new owners and employees are great, they take their time to get to know you and almost always have time to talk if they aren’t preoccupied with work around the gym. They have rearranged the equipment a few times because they really want to find the best way to accommodate for the space and for the gym goers. I personally love the space and how much they are willing to adapt and evolve to make this a better experience. It shows a lot of how much they care for the community they have. They’ve also created a ton of new programs and classes for all ages from children to the senior population. Such a great place to be active.

My husband and I are in the area for the week and didn’t want to skip our workouts.
The staff was super accommodating for our schedule. The facility is stocked with machines and free weights; there were a handful of people working out but the amount of equipment made it so it didn’t feel at all crowded.

This place is great! Everyone that works here is so kind & have such a great energy about them. The gym is spacious and clean but also has a lot of equipment that I love using & rarely see at most gyms. I was in town for a week and they were really flexible about me coming in and just treated me like it was my own gym and wasn’t my first time. Thank you again & can’t wait to come back again!

This gym used to be so much better. New ownership under Luis has been a nightmare. Selling perfectly good machines to make room for machines that simply collect dust. Only hosting a note that says "out of order". Cables held together with zip ties and tape. Urinals took months to get cleaned and repaired. Benches in the locker room constantly fall over, as they are not screwed to the ground. Is that not lawsuit worthy? How many people have fallen over and got hurt by this bench? Employees as well as owners are rude, and make quips to people trying to get help or mind their own business. It's a "get rich quick" scheme type of gym rather than a community benefiting gym. They often are trying to sell odd products or services as well. Bathrooms always gross, they have cups in there to collect falling fluids. That is definitely not health code supporting. I'm sure the owner will try to deny what is put into this review, so go ahead and ask any of the people in there. Whenever someone complains to him he will say "go to Definition Fitness instead". Unreal pricing! He tried to justify a $45 a month charge to me, and when I didn't like it he told me to "go back to school" and told me I was slow. Owner will even go as far as to get mad at gym goers for not doing him favors. No other place is as absurd as this one. Which Luis will make sure to remind you when you try to end your membership. "You will never find a gym like this one!" I Really hope he is right! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME IN THIS GYM!

the machines are always out of order. the owner was very disrespectful to me. when they “fix” equipment its just them slapping tape or zip ties on the machine. the dumbbells and plates are way past worn out. it’s more of a cash grab than a gym that cares for it’s community.

A friend of mine recommended this gym to me. I was a little apprehensive about joining at first not knowing what to expect, however everyone is friendly, personable and professional. Jose keeps the gym immaculate. I have never seen a cleaner gym. They have a huge variety of machines and equipment as well as free weights, making it comfortable for anyone from beginner to professional. I live 30 minutes from this gym so there are plenty other gyms on my way there but I feel comfortable here and look forward to my gym sessions every day.

Last May I won a 2 month membership to this gym. I am still going 3 to 4 days a week. I am 73 years old with mobility challenges. Luis has been great. He designed a program to help me strengthen and improve my balance issues. All the trainers are helpful and friendly. The members are great, friendly and willing to help me with equipment when I look lost.

I previously was a member at planet fitness. There is no comparison in my opinion. The employees are not as knowledgeable and the clientele is not as friendly.

We love, love Fitness 419!! Let's start with ease of accessibiility with this location on Holland-Sylvania, with always convenient parking. The gym may not dazzle initially, but just wait till you see the selection of machines!! Somehow, Fitness has managed to fill this space without overcrowding, and there are simply multiple choices for whatever you want to work on. And, John is the most cooperative and friendliest worker: he will help with your workout, and he carries my bosu ball to the rear of the gym, where I have plenty of room. We can''t get enough of Fitness 419 - and we, as Silver Sneakers members, have our choice of gyms. I look forward to the nights we get into the gym, because I know the variety and friendliness are waiting. (and there is a sauna) Thanks Fitness for providing the finest workout space in the area.

Visiting from out of town for a couple of weeks and decided to try out Fitness 419 since it was open 24 hours. So glad I did:) Louie the owner hooked me up with a good rate for the time I’m here and was very nice. The gym has everything you need to get a good workout in. stopped in for a workout while i was in town for a few days. toledo has become overrun by planet fitness, which is fine, but it leaves something to be desired for people who actually want to lift. fitness 419 ROCKS. super clean, all the equipment you could need, and everyone is so friendly (but not in an annoying way). i would absolutely join if I lived in town, and i will definitely stop back in when I’m in toledo for the holidays.

After the great conversation with Luis, He handled everything perfectly.
I do believe he will be a wonderful gym owner. And his management team will do excellent!
