We been currently at 5 star for almost 2 years and we have loved every coach until she moved up to red team on Friday nights. I noticed a declined in my daughter skills and how the coach talks to these kids is not okay. Now mind you I am all for constructive criticism and trying to improve the athletes but how she talks to them is condescending and belittling specially to a 6 year old. If they want the athletes to come in with hair up and ready to go I believe the coaches should follow the same rules. Mind you we have loved every other coach besides this one coach who probably shouldn’t be coaching.

I was only going to post this review on Facebook, but since the owner sent me an 😡 Emoji, then blocked me, I’m certain I made the right decision pulling my daughter out 5 stars. The lack of professionalism that shows, is shocking.

After spending well over 1,000 after a year and a half, my daughter still could not do a cartwheel. Practices lacked hands on instruction. There is a mat that shows where to put your hands and feet, but not once did I see the coach spot her and physically help her with the motion of a cartwheel. Practices were completely repetitive and my daughter got to the point that she didn’t want to go anymore. After pulling her out of this gym, I’ve been using that day to spot her on cartwheels and after 1 day, she got it.
I wish I would have pulled her out sooner. I did compete in level 7 as a kid and watching the higher level at this gym, the coaching was also lacking.

I do not recommend 5 star gymnastics. There are lots of other near by gymnastics centers to look into for your child.

I started my daughter at 5 star when she turned 1. She is 2.5 now and it is her favorite thing ever. She has learned alot about sharing, taking turns, and made little friends. But it also is amazing for her gross motor skills. The coaches forbthe littles are wonderful and patient. I would highly recommend.

I really cannot say enough good about this gym! In just 2 years my daughter has excelled there. The coaches are fantastic, the atmosphere is awesome as well! I'd recommend anyone bring their child here!

Thank you to ALL of the staff and owner at Five Star! I had the opportunity to see my granddaughter in class here! She absolutely loved it, looked forward to her weekly classes and constantly talked about her time spent there with pride and great enthusiasm! Thank you for building her confidence and passion for a HEALTHY activity in her life. You have created an amazing, safe, clean and team atmosphere for kids! On a side note.. they have some awesome leotard's!! And provided top notch customer service! I purchased a few 😊

Five star gymnastics is an amazing, clean, fun, energetic facility filled with amazing staff and members. Five star thrived thru the pandemic with little to no issues because everyone is on the same team. Five star and Wendy helped my daughter grow and mature. Watching how the coaches interact and handle groups of rowdy energized kids is very joyful. Thank you for everything you and your team do at Five star. 10/10

Maybe good for older girls but my 5 year old has only regressed since coming here. Just recorded the 2 instructors not watching 90% of the girls and just letting them do the exercises wrong with no direction or guidance.

We have been at 5-Star for over 3 years now and we love it. We have seen our daughter grow, learn so much and work really hard. She started later than most girls and the coaches have done an amazing job teaching her skills and encouraging her to do better. There is always great communication. During this whole COVID crisis, they have kept us well informed and have set many protocols to help keep everyone safe at the gym. They have done an amazing job. We highly recommend them.
