I tried to enroll my children however, they've closed their doors. Unfortunately, Flip n Twist is closed. They didn't make it through the pandemic. I learned of this through their Messenger page.

I went here for about a year and it was amazing. The instructors were nice and werenβt always screaming. They made you feel at home and that made it way easier to learn.

I have an Autistic daughter that is going to this gym and I have been very disappointed in the lack of understanding of there special needs children. I have had to go as say something when I another child was yelling across the gym that my daughter was terrible and other things . The teacher did nothing . They have me a half ,,,,, apology. The next session the teacher is new couldn't understand why my child was crying and said why is she doing that. The reason is her routine was getting a sucker after each class for doing well. The teacher when told why acted as if it was no big deal, to any parent with a child with a disability and those that don't understand it is a big deal to break there program. This place is horrible.

My daughter has been in two other facilities for tumbling. When her and her best friend came here for lessons to try to learn how to do a back handspring for cheerleading, after three sessions, they have learned more than they did in many weeks at the other facilities. I credit this to their instructor-- I may not spell his name correctly, Tramel is the best I can attempt. He is WONDERFUL. He is the intermediate instructor and I have seen a lot of instructors. This one is very attentive to each student. He works one on one with those who need a little more attention, offering very good suggestions and actually providing some of the best instructing I have seen. He shows the students how to do things, he doesn't just stand and tell them how.
I can't speak highly enough of the way he treats his students. He is a "tough love" instructor, which works well for getting the results needed out of his students. His classes are never dull, the girls are always smiling and learning. Lots of stretching and everyone gets plenty of turns doing things.
If you are looking for a facility, but more importantly a great instructor, I highly suggest you give this one a try- specifically if Tramel is teaching-- just take a trial class, you will know right after what I mean. He also speaks to us and tells us how our child is doing. I went one place where the instructor didn't speak to any parent for 8 weeks. She was too busy on her cell phone. This man has his priorities straight. A huge thank you to him for finally providing what a parent is looking for!
