This place is amazing. I’ve been attending class for almost two years now. Coming here has helped me heal emotionally, rediscover joy, get/stay in shape, and connect with others. It’s a gem of an experience in a chaotic world. I’m here for it!

I did the first month unlimited and have loved every class I’ve taken so much! (Which has been about 10 now) Every instructor is AMAZING and it’s given me a great community. Very friendly, happy, joyful space!

I always recommend people to flux & Flow because it’s the one studio that I felt like I “fit in”. There’s a lot of dance studios I’ve tried in Columbus but this will always be my home base. It says “come as you are” on the wall & I thought it was one of those cheesy quotes but genuinely,I also feel like I get in touch with my heritage because they not only have traditional White dances like ballet but also Afro inspired ones. I have yet to perform with their dance company due to scheduling conflicts,But I’ve really grown to love this Flux & Flow fam.

Looking for something new to try, I signed up for their absolutely beginner ballet class and had a wonderful time. The class moved at a great pace and it was an incredibly welcoming environment. I signed up for the first month pass and am excited to continue trying new classes!

Classes are under $20 so it’s great to come and see how it goes before committing to a monthly pass. There’s also an online option for less if you can’t join in person!

I absolutely love Flux + Flow! I took the Baby Dance Club classes when my son was a few months old and wish I’d of started earlier. I have possibly the worst coordination in Ohio so I was a bit nervous about dancing, but Russel makes the class SO enjoyable, care-free and easy to follow. It was the highlight of our week and made me feel like me again! A huge bonus is the community aspect that Russel encourages- I connected with so many amazing moms at a similar stage which has been invaluable. 100% recommend BDC!

Flux + Flow is such a wonderful welcoming space! I started taking Baby Dance classes 6 weeks after giving birth. The Baby Dance classes were such a great way to bond with my newborn and connect with other parents. The 30 minutes post class hang was a great opportunity to make friends with people I still hangout with today. I just started taking Dance Party and Dance Vibes and both classes have been so much fun! I have felt extremely comfortable even if I am not getting every move right. The classes at Flux + Flow have brought me so much joy! Do not hesitate, you will not regret taking a class at Flux + Flow.

This place has "Come as you are" on their building and those aren't just empty words, this place truly embodies it. I came for my first class this Sunday and took the Beginners Contemporary dance class and had an amazing time! I told Elyse, "I haven't set foot in a dance class in about 20 years." She said, "I honestly don't care if you never get a move right, I just want you to leave happier and having had fun." I met some really sweet, welcoming, kind people in this class while challenging myself and getting a nice sweat! I was amazed at how affordable it is and you are getting a variety of dance classes each week. It's rare to walk in a space and feel completely allowed to be authentically yourself. I can't wait to get an unlimited pass and come back again and again! Thank you staff at Flux and Flow, you are doing AMAZING work!

I just took my first class here today and I love it so much. I took “Rhythm & Release,” and the instructor’s name was Cherelle. So high energy and encouraging and sweet — just exuding love for their job.

I’m a dorky dancer, but I just wanted to get into some kind of cardio that’s also fun. This really did it for me.

I gotta check my budget, but I’d love to come here regularly for either a monthly pass or a 10-pass. Regardless, their prices are super affordable too!

Highly recommend, especially if you’re looking for an open-minded, welcoming space.

Wonderful care and effort on the instructors and owners’ part to make sure all attendees are comfortable and feel great doing the classes! Classes themselves are quality and enjoyable, with an atmosphere filled with encouragement, and I’ve never felt less judged exercising 😂 love them!

I came to Flux and Flow at 64 having never taken any formal dance lessons. I was timid and a bit afraid not knowing what to expect. Looking back on the past year of my life, I must say that the welcoming atmosphere, the body positivity, the acceptance of everyone no matter what level of expertise or learning, and the encouragement of the instructors has been one of the most important experiences I’ve had in life. No matter how far I go or how much or little progress I am able to make, I feel successful and accepted as a dancer at Flux and Flow. Best dance studio in Columbus!

In a few short weeks I’ve gained confidence in the ballet foundations that Filippo and Russell teach. It’s a pleasure learning from them! I can’t wait to explore other genres.

Great classes across the board, great instructors, friendly and welcoming environment. Clintonville is incredibly lucky that Russell and Filippo decided to open their studio in the old Clintonville Community Market building - it's an amazing resource and such a cool thing to have in walking distance! Definitely take a ballet class - it's way more fun than it sounds! :)

Pilates classes are hard to find in Clintonville so i was happy when this new studio opened in the old food co-op building. The class was exactly what i'd been looking for and included people of all ages and fitness levels. They offer a variety of other classes (lots of yoga and dance options) and the instructors I met were so relaxed and welcoming that i'm giving a ballet class a try. The prices are very reasonable too. Go check it out and decide for yourself!

Took a drop-in beginning contemporary class with Filippo...it was a blast and I felt very comfortable despite never having been in a dance class before. I'll be back again soon!
