I signed my autistic daughter up to try gymnastics to get some of her energy out. The very first class we tried to attend, she screamed her head off so we left without participating. I asked for a refund and they told me that they credit the account so that we can try in the near future. Since then we have moved to a different country/continent. I called to get the refund and they said the policy remains the same. Clearly there is a problem with the policy because there should be an exception to the rule. Jesse on the phone mentioned that it isn’t their fault that she wasn’t able to attend. Even though I could understand that from a business perspective, having an autistic daughter is not something I can control or is my “fault”. We aren’t talking million of dollars here but according to reviews, other people have seen that this place is just about money. Where is the actual compassion and understanding these days and that everything isn’t about making the money? Terrible word of mouth will cost a business way more than a $100 measly refund. Just food for thought.

I do not recommend Flytz because of the team coaches’ misconduct and the owner’s response. Two specific issues were that one coach would purposely let my daughter fall doing back handsprings even when she told her she would spot her. Sometimes she would spot, sometimes she would tell her she’d spot but then purposely let her fall. Then when my daughter would hesitate because she was scared to fall again the coach would tell her she was wasting everyone’s time. The other big issue was a different coach wouldn’t let her stop repeating a skill even though my daughter was telling her over and over she was hurting. I told the owner about these and his response to the coach that made her repeat the skill even though she was pleading to stop was that my daughter should be happy she was getting extra attention that took the coach away from the other gymnasts. Disgraceful response from a grown man about a little girl who was hurting and not allowed to stop. And then his response to me saying no more dropping my daughter when you tell her you’ll spot was to use that against me as a reason to kick us out when I brought up Safe Sport policies because he said I was “demanding how they spot in practices and at meets”. I reported to USAG and they educated the coaches on the misconduct, but because the owner handled it so poorly without any accountability himself, I don’t trust this gym to all of a sudden start following the rules.

Not inclusive. Wouldn’t allow our 7 year old boy to attend BEGINNER gymnastics. Still don’t understand how his gender has anything to do with this type of class. HIGHLY disappointing.

There isn't any order or structure about this place ... the instructors seem as if they're not sure what to do, there isn't any sort of plan and there are too many children not to have any order or structure .... it seems like everybody's doing whatever they want to do and these are little kids, they need order. The instructors are walking aimlessly around, some kids need more help than others and they aren't getting the help, they're ignoring certain children, as much as we pay every 6 weeks, they should be doing a little better. I'm not fond of the place . Will advise my friends that keeps asking about this place to try somewhere else

The reason this place is receiving one star is for multiple reasons. The owner is just a straight up condescending person. The instructors do the best they can but it's almost as though they really have no game plan. They don't focus on each individual and come up with ways to help work on what needs to be worked on. It's almost as though if a child falls a little behind, they are left to their own devices and ignored. My daughter went here for four years. I took her to a different gymnastics gym and they came up with a game plan for my daughter. I was baffled. No one had ever done that previously. This place cares about your check and that's the extent of it. Don't even get me started on how unclean it is. The bathrooms in the back are scarry!!!

Stepping in during girls competion performances to perform your own warm ups was not only rude and disrespectful but completely disgraceful. Your club should be ashamed of themselves!

I can't say enough great things about Flytz! The instructors are fantastic. They challenge your kids at every age and skill level. The owners are great people too and you can tell they really love the sport. Front desk woman is fantastic and will help you in any way she can!

We went there for our granddaughter's birthday party. We are 2 hrs. away and it was a very pleasurable visit. It was refreshing to see such small children 😊 doing the feats that they were trained to do. All the instructors and staff were extremely nice. It's an old building, but neat, clean, and organized inside. Nice atmosphere for kids and adults alike
