Don’t go here unless you want to be overcharged “accidentally”. I’m not sure how this place is still in business with the amount of people they are overcharging!

I was a member of this gym for a brief period of time and thankfully I wasn’t a victim of being overcharged. I referred my boyfriend to this gym since it was close to home and we had a good experience up until cancelling his membership.

He was charged over $500 from June-October. While the gym was quick to refund the money we have found out many people we know went through the same exact thing!! I know at least 6 people personally that this has happened too in the same time frame.

If you go here, check your statements. If you are thinking about going here, don’t, unless you have extra money you don’t mind losing!

I joined this gym six months ago and have fallen in love with its environment. They have a wide variety of lower body machines that you won’t find anywhere else. The members and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming!!!

⚠️ BEWARE OF FORZA FITNESS AMELIA ⚠️

This gym has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. I cancelled my membership on October 13th, only to later find out I had been charged $42.90 every single week since June when my agreement was clearly for a monthly charge. That’s 13 separate withdrawals in just 3 months, totaling over $550 in unauthorized charges.

When I called the owner, he was rude, dismissive, and couldn’t hang up fast enough. He blamed my bank and literally said, “this happens all the time.” If it “happens all the time,” maybe stop overcharging people?! Even my bank teller guessed “Forza Fitness?” before I finished explaining the situation! Clearly I’m not the only one this has happened to.

Then the owner accidentally texted me calling me crazy for wanting my money back. You really can’t make this up.

Do yourself a favor and check your bank statements if you’ve ever been a member, and if you’re thinking of joining, RUN the other way!

I eventually did get a resolution but only after pushing, calling multiple times, and refusing to be ignored. It should not take that kind of effort just to get back money that should never have been taken in the first place.

I absolutely love Forza Fitness! The staff is amazing, especially Ally, who always brings such great energy. The gym is clean, welcoming, and full of motivation. It’s the perfect place to get a great workout in!

They let me know ahead of time I would be pro-rated for starting middle of month. Before sign up, went briefly over rules and offered facilities. Not much to explain, it's a gym. Took an order for products and will call when order's in. Both son and father that work at location seem to be respectful honest owners. Regulars so far have been good people. Saw a couple of guys encouraging each other. Good gym etiquette so far. Will see if some people are able to allow work-ins. Worth the price compared to commercial gyms. Too many meat heads slamming weights at commercial gyms. Plus this location is open 24/7.

Update 7/22/2025: charged up to 6 times because they said "we thought you were signed up for an instructor". Their reasoning wasn't just exclusive, states "this happens sometimes" with their process or system. I haven't met a "system" like this. Also if this happens "sometimes" why do they not inform the card owner regarding when this happens "sometimes". You would keep more customers if you would people informed on a situation such as this. They have all your information written down so it's no excuse not to inform. When tracing back to where the charge originated it's from a school of music. Seems a little sketchy to me. Apparently co-owner/wife works at location. Why are you charging there instead of this business? Is it for tax breaks? Luckily I caught the charges and they reverted them. I was going to give zero stars but I was able to get my money back.

Was charged 6 times in 2 months. Reached out to the person in charge of billing for them to tell me that my husband was on two billing cycles... not sure if I believe that since my husband had the membership for a year at that point and then we get charged 6 times. Told them we wanted the cancel since my husband hasn't been using them. They told me it takes 14 business days to refund the money. That came and went. I had reached out to them again, letting them know I didn't get my money and they said they would rerun it again... yeah that came and went as well. Had to get my bank involved and thankfully they credited my account. But the dispute case is still not closed because the gym hasn't refunded anything. This has been going on since February.

Joined in February and canceled in March due to being overcharged in February and in March. Contacted the owner and got a response from the wife saying she would correct the issue by the end of the week. Never heard back so I contacted again to be told she’d refund my card and cancel my membership. April came and I was never refunded. I contacted again to give the benefit of the doubt and was told it takes 14 days. 14 days went by and I still never saw a refund. I disputed the charges but want to let future people looking for a gym to be aware that this specific gym has a history of doing this and I happen to fall victim to it as well. Very disappointed.

CHECK BANK STATEMENTS
I was a member of Forza for a little over a year. In February, I reached out after noticing I’d been double-charged one month. Then I discovered, they had overcharged me 13 separate times over the course of a year. At $42/month, that’s more than $500 they took from me without my knowledge.
It took TWO MONTHS of back-and-forth to get it resolved—during which I was spoken to dismissively, told “that’s not how credit cards work,” and treated like I was the inconvenience. No accountability. Just denial and delay.

If you’re a current member, check your bank statements immediately.

If you’re considering joining, DON’T!
I have seen numerous other people complain about the same thing.

This wasn’t an innocent mistake. It was negligence at best, theft at worst.

Review your charges with this gym membership. I was charged to the wrong program, which was double the amount I signed for. I was then charged 4 extra times. I’ve only received 1/2 of my refund after 2 months of working with Forza to correct this error. Thankfully my credit card company is working on the issue now. Very poor book keeping with false promises.

I belonged to this gym for about a year and a half. I decided to cancel my membership due to choosing another gym that was a better fit. Forza continued to charge me despite cancelling my membership. They admitted to overcharging me, yet still have not given me my money back. It has been nearly two months since I was overcharged. I’ve contacted them numerous times, yet I still have not been refunded. I find the whole thing to be incredibly sketchy. I will not be recommending this gym to anyone.

Went to try and check the place out since im new to the area, i'm guessing you need a key to enter the building which is cool. But ppl was inside looking at me pulling on the door, not one person came to open the door to see what i even wanted😂🤷🏾‍♀️. Top notch gym! I’ve been to most gym’s in the clermont county area & not one compares to the quality of Forza. There equipment is superior to anything I’ve seen in 10 years of fitness. Great layout with comfortable spacing between equipment, clean with a great culture of people there to work in a respectful manor. All staff members seem to be there to help in anyway, kind & approachable. Would highly recommend this gym to anyone & everyone.

I needed a place to workout for the day since I'm just visiting. Most gyms would answer their phone or wouldn't let me just come for the day. But then I called and talked to the owner here and he was so nice and accommodating. Came to to the gym to let me in, gave me a tour and even. So kind! The atmosphere was also great and they have everything a gym needs! Next time I visit I'd happily come back! 😁

My husband and I decided to join a gym and we chose this one. We love it! The owner is super nice, never packed, tons if equipment to use and we pay one cost for up to 5 people per month which is great because our sons can go as well and there's no enrollment fee or yearly fee. Its open 24/7 so you can go anytime day or night. We Highly recommend this gym.
