Donβt waste your money. Customer service is awful. Equipment is only okay.
Also there are signs all over stating a mask must be worn, but none of the employees are ever wearing them.

Equipment is ok and thatβs the best part of the gym. Patrons and staff not great (not terrible but not great) - you wonβt make friends here - just an ok place to put headphones on and lift without interacting with anyone. Locker rooms are dated and slightly gross from a cleanliness perspective. If you try to cancel they play dumb that they canβt do it over phone yada yada βthey need a senior manager to cancel membership yada yadaβ so you have to physically come in (jump through more arbitrary hoops) then they charge you for two months after you leave. Not recommended.

Probably my favorite gym Iβve ever been a member of! Great equipment, even better people! Started personal training with them only a few months ago and have already made more progress in 3 months than I think Iβd made in several years prior! Cannot recommend this gym enough!

This placed used to be decent. Before covid-19 way over crowded during primetime and the equipment needed work. And now during covid, I need to go into the gym physically to cancel my membership....I find this a bit absurd considering the current environment and concerning that management has not done anything to update this process.
Edit: I cancelled my membership and they keep charging my card. I canβt recommend this place to anyone and Iβll be opening a case with the BBB.

+Great location, friendly staff
+Plenty of space upstairs
+They sent me a birthday card with a couple guest passes, thoughtful and something Iβve never had a gym do
-The gym needs a hamstring curl/ leg extension machine, basic piece of equipment
-The gym is kept cold, itβs hard to stay warm

I cancelled my membership over the phone when I saw they re-opened after lockdown because I'm not comfortable working out at a gym during a pandemic. A month later, saw I was still being charged and called in to have TJ, the manager, tell me that no, my membership isn't cancelled and I need a doctor's note to cancel the membership.
A doctor's note saying that I'm not comfortable working out at a gym because of COVID...
Absolute scumbag

Great gym overall. Clean and organized with a large selection of equipment. Guest service is strong and they've done a pretty good job adjusting to government COVID regulations. I feel safe working out here. Bravo, Go Fitness!

I would give zero stars to this gym if I could. The manager is extremely rude and blames the customer for problems that arise. Did not refund our money and said we were being difficult. I do not recommend this place.

This is a horrible place. Please do not go to this gym. They steal your money even though you cancel the membership. The manager TJ Fleming has no idea what customer service means. Worst gym ever

Worst gym in Columbus. Tried canceling my membership (which was charged monthly) and they said they would have the manager reach out. After that conversation, I recieved only newsletters from the gym about upcoming events and updates. No one reached out about the cancelation. After two months of phone tag with their receptionist, I finally was able to get on the phone with the manager who was extremely rude and would not refund the money they charged me for the previous two months I did not attend the gym. And proceeded to charge me for this month as well. Poorly managed, highly priced, and overcrowded frequently. Go to LA Fitness.

From personal experience and heard from a few others that they wouldnβt let people suspend because of COVID-19, and asked for a doctors note when requested, which is convenient for them because many peopleβs health insurance is tied to their job, and without a job which many people recently lost, you canβt get a doctors note. Very sneaky behavior.

PROS Nice gym. Clean facility, friendly staff, and free parking in rear (cannot beat that in the SN).
Full range of equipment including three different types of treadmills.
I see some complaints about contracts; as with any agreement read and understand it completely before signing.
CONS Not one closer to my house. :)

Do not do personal training here. They make you sign a monthly contract and then make it impossible to cancel. I turned in my cancellation form 3 months ago and am still being charged. I called and stopped at the front desk multiple times both before and after the charge appeared again on my credit card this month. They tell me it will be fixed and then nothing happens. I called today and they said the manager will call me back "IF HE COMES IN TODAY." What kind of business is this?

This used to be a great gym but its continued to struggle with maintenance and overcrowding. This gym serves the apartments in the area and the public yet there are only 5 treadmills. There are never any available in the mornings or peak times after work. Even worse, if one of them goes down, it will be at least a month before its fixed. Get used to seeing maintenance signs all around.

Decent prices if you sign up with your significant other. Equipment is moderately clean, but the gym is very small and is consistently overcrowded. Ample weight equipment for the weight lifters, but cardio equipment is severely limited. With all the people now living in the area, this gym is going down in quality, but as of right now, it's still okay.
Do NOT go after work if you want to use anything.

Positive: Friendly staff, clean, convenient if you live in Italian Village, reasonably priced.
Negative: Missing basic equipment(smith machine, leg extension, peck deck, leg curl), wifi never works, can be crowded and no parking during rush time.

4 of the 5 barbells are permanently bent. This is extremely dangerous as it causes the weight to shift mid-set, throwing the lifter off balance. Ownership shows no interest in adding new equipment or getting broken equipment repaired in a timely manner.
It appears they are only concerned with training sessions and meeting membership quotas. They need to put more effort into keeping current members happy.

I did not continue my membership because of the horrible weekend hours.
The sales strategy is also creepy and annoying. I walked in knowing I wanted to join but needed to go through a dog and pony show.
Otherwise it is a great gym, but if you can't be available when your customers need to use the business, how good of a business are you really running?

GO IV is a fantastic gym. The equipment is new and Iβve never had to wait in line for a machine. There is an enormous cardio room with more weights, kettle bells, foam rollers and stability balls PLUS a big screen you can pull down and load a workout on to follow along to without the cost of a personal trainer. Their staff is friendly and helpful and they have several group classes, including yoga.

Good clean rec center. They do get very busy during peak hours.

Pros:
Like new equipment
Good amount of space with two levels to split up major weights downstairs and cardio upstairs
Clean
Towel service
Cons:
Overcrowded at "normal workout times"- As others have mentioned, the newness factor has worn off and thus "peak hours" now bleed into well after 8pm
Overpriced- being one of the only options for a great majority of the new condo residents, they are price gouging a bit in my opinion. Paid less in Chicago for a nicer gym. They essentially money grab with sign up fees and that fitness tracking and vibration machine no one uses

Great place to work out for weightlifters. They are well stocked with power racks and a lot of modern style workout equipment and accessories. Lots of kettlebells and weighted balls. They aren't too heavy on those silly weightlifting machines that some gyms think people want to use. Great staff. Clean and organized.

My husband and I loved this gym at first! Mostly because it has so many squat racks and it was never too crowded! I think they've gotten a lot of new members though because now it's really crowded M-F 5 pm-8 pm. This is a gym where a lot of members actually lift weights, so when it's crowded I'm not talking about a bunch of people on treadmills...when it's crowded, it's really hard to get any lifting in. Overall, it's a nice clean gym and membership is kind of expensive, but there are a lot of perks. I would recommend it, just be aware that it's crowded after work.

This is a really great gym. It's not too large where it'll take you forever to go from machine to machine and it's not super small where you don't get the amenities of a large gym (i.e. showers, greeters, great equipment, and especially cleanliness) which this place has. I'm really thankful that I've found this place and will continue to make this my home gym for a long time.
