My child has been going to goldfish for a few years. The staff is almost always friendly. Even when they have turnover they seem to find the right fit. They really go the extra mile for each child to try to help them progress. My only complaint is when I go to drop my child off in the pool area it's 90 degrees no joke, and the parent area is much cooler. I get the pool area needs to be warm but it's a roaster.

Goldfish Swim School in Dublin has done an incredible job teaching our daughter how to swim. When she started at Goldfish, washing her hair was a challenge because she was so afraid of getting water on her face. She has now worked her way through all the levels for swim lessons and recently got accepted onto the Swim Force swim team. This all happened in two short years. The instructors and coaches are kind, patient, and motivating. We had her birthday party at the swim school this year, and it was stress free and such a great time! It has been fun to watch her grow in confidence and learn such a vital life skill.

We've had a fantastic experience at Goldfish Swim School! My child has not only learned important swimming skills but also gained confidence in the water thanks to their wonderful instructors. Everyone is patient, professional, and truly great with kids.

One of the things I appreciate most is how well-organized everything is. Their scheduling system is super convenient, and the mobile app makes managing classes, rescheduling, and tracking progress very easy. Any time we've had a question or needed help, the staff has been quick to respond and incredibly helpful.

Overall, I highly recommend Goldfish Swim School to any parent looking for a safe, fun, and efficient place for their child to learn how to swim!

My kids have been going here for a while. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. My boys have both made it to swim force ans they struggled at first bc it's harder to swim the full length of the pool. The staff is always so caring a patient. They are both swimming so well they passed their swim tests at the pool and the ymca super easy and lots of people were impressed with how well they swim. Highly recommend

I do not advise anyone to take lessons with them. Very bad treatment and bad laws. They do not tell you about their rules until after you subscribe, and monthly subscriptions are deducted without permission or prior request. It was closed the day my kids had a lesson and I was never told about it,
I feel very frustrated, My money was withdrawn without my prior permission or my knowledge that they saved the bank card information and did not accept to return my money.

My kids have been coming to Goldfish for over a year. Both kids did not know how to swim prior to Goldfish, and now that it's been a year later, they're both swimming with confidence. I like how Goldfish instructors are in the water with the kids watching and giving them individualized instructions and feedback. The Goldfish process is very punctual and efficient. Rescheduling for a makeup is a breeze and they have plenty of options for make ups. My kids love the heated pool, and warm showers that they can access right after they get out of the pool. I wish the classes were a little longer because a 30 minute lesson with 5 mins to chat with the instructor at the end means 25 minutes for the kids, and it's a lot of work to get them into the pool in the first place. A 45 minute session would be perfect.

My daughter has developed more anxiety with swimming after attending Goldfish Swim School. The establishment continues to charge monthly fees and hold strictly to their 30 day cancellation policy regardless of how the child feels or if they've had a terrible experience.

The classes are scheduled for 30 minutes, however, the actual lesson time is only 24 minutes and shared with 3-4 other swimmers. 5-6 mins is deducted to brief parents on child's progress afterwards. Within 4 minutes of briefing from the instructors, the children will share 20 mins of water time which averages 5 min true practice for each swimmer.

My daughter who is very afraid of learning to swim, had finally mustered up courage to take swim classes. On the second lesson, her head sunk under water, that started to give her anxiety about her classes. On her 3rd visit she witnessed the instructor speaking harshly with an 8 year old swimmer that was crying the entire time during the lesson. She began to get nervous about her lessons and refused to go back. I spoke with Goldfish and they offered to change instructor to try to make things right. At this lesson, her head sunk under again. My daughter explained she's just not comfortable with how they teach, the lessons move too fast and doesn't give her enough chance to learn and understand before they start practicing in the water. Inhaling the water is terrifying for her and she refuses to continue.

Goldfish promised they'd make things right, but they still charged us a full month plus the one week that we did not use. That's $160 I'm forced to pay after they've failed to help ease my daughter's fear of the water and added to her anxiety and fear. In fact, they failed in their promise/advertisement to help a child feel at ease in the water

I later learned a friend had a similar experience with her daughter at Goldfish and she recommended a different school.

This establishment is not sincere and compassionate with the handling of youths. I do not recommend.

Something has changed. We've attended the swim meets for about a year now. The meet in November was less organized than normal but the kids didn't seem to notice. However this past swim meet was unsatisfactory. My youngest wasn't allowed to participate even though she's a Pro 2 & has competed in the past. There wasn't enough pizza for all the children, only 10 cups of water were prepared, which was TERRIBLE because many paid for pizza they never got to eat. There were multiple families coming in and out with young crying children. It just seemed all over the place and very unorganized. I am not happy with how things have been going at all.

We LOVE GSS. It's so fun to spend quality time interacting and bonding with my baby while she learns life skills of water safety without the interruptions of phones or tv. Since we're only in the infant class, I love hearing how the skills are progressed through the higher classes and what how we can practice the skills with our daughter in developmentally appropriate ways. Since starting GSS, our daughter has enjoyed water play and water time so much better. Bathtime is so fun for all of us and I felt confident as a parent in taking her to the pool throughout the summer. We can't wait to continue coming back again and again!!

Have been taking our oldest daughter since she was 6-months old. She's now 7-years old and we've left and came back a couple times - mostly due to seasonal sports conflicting. I have two children who have taken lessons at Goldfish. My oldest is now a Pro 2 (highest level) and now a very strong swimmer. My youngest, a glider 1 has only taken about 6 lessons so far, but is already confident and swimming on her own, for the most part. I’m extremely happy with the Goldfish program compared to another swim school we tried. The lessons are fast paced and thorough, and my kids get a ton of time in the water with hands on instruction from their teacher. The online scheduling platform is super easy and the staff is great. The colorful facility is clean and has plenty of bathrooms and changing rooms. They even have a hair drying station, which is helpful in the winter when we don’t want to leave with wet heads. While it is more expensive than most other swim schools, Goldfish is definitely worth every penny.

They actually teach swimming skills instead of just water familiarity. And I like that the swimmers move up levels when they’ve mastered the skills compared to when the “class is over.” The only downside is the cost. If you have multiple children enrolled, it can get expensive. But when you are speaking of water safety, it is worth the cost.

Goldfish Jax (my 2.5 yr old grandson) hits the waters again at Goldfish Dublin! He has been a happy customer since he was 6 months old, gaining in independence in his knowledge and awareness of water safety, appropriate to his developmental age. My son is only 7 months and we knew that he wouldn’t be an expert at swimming immediately with his young age but he has definitely learned a lot in his swim class and it has contributed to his skills out of the water as well. It has been a nice experience being able to spend one on one time with our son while teaching him new things and he absolutely loves playing in the water now. The small class size has always been an appealing component of the program. We really appreciate that students are able to move to the next level when they have achieved the necessary skills instead of having to wait until the end of the term. More specific to the Dublin location, the team from top to bottom has always been first rate. The teachers in particular have always been second to none in terms of their commitment to teaching and to making sure that the students feel at home and safe in the water. From my observations, the teachers do a great job knowing how to push a child to grow beyond their comfort zone without making the child do something that they are uncomfortable doing (I hope this makes sense). We've done swim lessons at multiple places, including the rec center in our community, outdoor pool and YMCA but with our 2nd child being at the age I really wanted her to be a good swimmer (safe and build her endurance) and our 3 year old never having done swim lessons I decided to get over the cost and sign them up.... and I am SO thankful and glad I did. We've been at Goldfish for about 4 months now and my 6 year old has moved up 2 classes and is now doing butterfly and dolphin kicks and my 3 year old is comfortable and learning perfect skills for her age and will be safer this summer. The water is warm, the pool area warm, they have showers, they have plenty of changing areas. This place is awesome!

The Good Part is you removed the showers and the dryer which is appreciated. The instructors were also face covering all the time in the class. The staff is always very good, they make sure all the chairs and all necessary things were sanitized properly and regularly between the class schedules. Goldfish swim school has so many class offerings, it was so nice to have my kids in lessons at the same time!! They really have this down. The reason I didn’t give four stars is because of some communication issues but when brought to their attention, they more than made up for it. Sometimes the teachers change, they may consolidate classes, and may let another kid out of class before yours even though you were there first. Go for the private lessons if you can. You will not be disappointed. Even in the regular classes, my daughter has great form. It can get congested, so reminder to be kind when picking up your kid and getting into the dressing rooms.

My kids seems to like it and are learning to swim at good rate. The pool is warm and salt water pool so makes it easier to swim. I think the fact that salt water pool makes it easier is good for kids confidence when they are learning. They have showers, and hair dryers to get the kids cleaned up right there. Makes it much easier specially in winter months. It is on the expensive end though at $80 per month for one half hr session each week.

Was our son's first lesson yesterday and oh man did he love it. The place has plenty of changing areas. There are hair dryers if you need to dry it before you leave. They even have a swimsuit drying area. There is an observation area to watch your child if they swim on there own. If they can't then you are in the pool with them. The pool itself is sectioned off and well heated. There is a waiting area with a tank and coloring for kids who are waiting. This is a great place for your little ones to learn how to swim.

Excellent instruction and attentive instructors. My boys have excelled there. My only complaint is I wish the Friday family swim was every month. Its canceled sometimes for swim meets. Overall very happy with Goldfish.

So far we are very happy with the classes here. My son is almost 3 years old and before we started swim lessons he was very tensed in the water - now he is so much more relaxed and he enjoys the water. I really appreciate that the water is nice and warm, the classes are well organized, they have many accessories to make the kids entertained and their experience enjoyable, and the teachers are nice and build good relationships with the kids.

We love Goldfish! The methodology used to teach the kids to swim and advance at their own pace is an excellent design, in under 2 years our daughter went from a struggling paddle swimmer to a Swim Force member. Watching that progression has been amazing it will be a very sad day when she ages out of the program come September.

I am a mom of a 8year old girl and I’ve been coming to Gold Fish for over two years.. Today im a bit shocked at a policy that a parent cannot leave the facility even for 7 mns drive which i needed to take so as to get my daughters swim bag.. I understand the policy ensures my kids safety incase a tornado comes etc.. but the least the person in the front desk could have offered me some help.. I told her how can I take my wet drenched daughter straight from the pool to the car in these icy windy day.. she coudve atleast been bit caring. She was really too professional and almost non caring. If you have a company where you deal with kids- make sure your front desk people are not so rude as to slap policies straight onto a mother who is anxious already. I know I forgot her swim bag home..! But she couldn’t offer me a towel..?? Really im disappointed today. Her name FYI is Kat

It’s awesome place for kids to learn swimming, warm indoor pool, friendly instructors, lot of chairs to sit. flexible timing. Lots of parking space.

The teachers at Goldfish have been completely patient with my child who is terrified. They have made small steps of progress every week. I really thought it was kind of hopeless that she would learn to swim but she is getting there!
