Goldfish swim school has been awesome with my daughter. She started last Jan in mini 1 with me in the pool and now is in Junior 2 floating on her own and confident about jumping in the pool. She no longer is afraid to jump in, she has breath control and best of all she is my little swimmer!!!

Update baby girl is now in junior 2 learning how to roll over and her pulls and kicks have really improved. I feel safe and comfortable with her in water now on vacation.

We’ve been coming to Goldfish for almost 2 years now and we love it! Our kids are exposed to a family pool and an open pond, so the foundation of learning to swim was/is a top priority for us. He has learned not only the basic skills to swim, but he’s gained the independence and confidence to do it. We love the progress that he’s made, and we’ll be enrolling our second son in classes in a few months. I honestly couldn’t recommend Goldfish swim school more! Our girls, 6 YO & 3 YO, have made such amazing progress in just a few short months! We really enjoy the Goldfish school in NC. Everyone that works there is so friendly with the kiddos, remembering their names and giving high fives. You almost feel like family, how much they support and care for the kids! The program is well planned and my son has improved thoroughly as he graduates to each level. Generally speaking have had very good experiences with Goldfish (my 2 other grandchildren came for quite awhile). My granddaughter who is coming now is doing well. I become frustrated tho when there is a distraction (one of the children crying throughout the lesson) that prevents the others from learning. In the past, there have also been different instructors from week to week. It delayed progress and seemed like the class was starting over again.

I understand the issues but it deters from the children learning and advancing.

We love goldfish! My son has been coming here since he was about 4 months and he’s currently 1yrs old. He’s gotten more comfortable in the water and now loves to lay on his belly in the bathtub!. I really appreciate our teachers Cassidy and Destiny who always have a good attitude and big smiles. All of the kids enjoy them and I also appreciate that they are willing to slow down and explain certain exercises to me & help me if I’m nervous to do it with my son.

Been coming here for years with my boys! We've had birthday parties here on multiple occasions. The staff is amazing and friendly. The instructors are all great with the kiddos but the two we've had that's stood out is Miss Patience and Miss Addy. My oldest son, who has Miss Patience, feels so safe with her because she "helped him be brave" and learn rollovers. She has just figured out what works well with him and communicatesso effectively with him. Miss Addy is so good with my youngest son. He said, "she's always good to me" and his brother noted, "I saw, she really is good with him!" Everyone who has ever been with the boys in place of their regularly scheduled instructor is also good and works to meet the kids needs. I love the feedback and the way they build on skills, making it very specific to the child.

I’m happy with Goldfish. My youngest learned to swim within a couple weeks of attending and was proficient within a couple months. He hung it up once he figured it out. My other came to Goldfish a proficient swimmer and is now in the swim force and has a blast each week. Most of the swim teachers are solid, but not all are great. Staff is mostly friendly and respectful. Our experience overall has been positive.

My son has always loved to swim. However, he struggled with having the confidence to go underwater and do things independently, even with floaties on. We enjoyed several weeks of decent swim lessons there for my kids (ages 4 and 7 at the time) until my son (age 4) got his head shoved underwater WITHOUT warning by a swim instructor. He came up coughing and gasping for air, and we were done immediately. I talked to someone at Goldfish about it and they seemed to "care" and were "sorry."

I asked them to remove me from all their contact lists, to never contact me for anything ever. I cancelled our membership in writing that week. The prices were absurd anyway so it's for the best.

That was 2 years ago. Since then, Goldfish has called me 6 times. Every time I have asked them to STOP CALLING me. They seem to understand I don't want contacted but this morning I got another phone call asking if I want to have my son's birthday party at Goldfish.

Just started coming here for the M-2 swimming classes. My toddler is two and hates the water but his instructor is very patient. The classes are small so it is easy to get one on one attention if needed. That being said, it is always pretty busy and very loud so my little gets over stimulated pretty quickly. That's normal though. The facility and the pool are very clean and the lessons reasonably priced.

Do not ever sign up for information from this place. They will NEVER take your number off their call list, it's been years. They have been told we moved even. Literally over 2 years since moving I still get phone calls from them!!!
And no I don't want to talk to anyone there. You have my name, look it up, remove me from the call list!

My son goes every Thursday. We love it and I can't say enough good things about this place. He has special needs and Chloe especially takes amazing care of him while he's in her care and we can sit back and watch him have the time of his life through the glass. If you are a parent debating if it's worth it, do it. The atmosphere, the instructors, EVERYTHING. It's worth giving it a shot. Not many places can handle a kid with ASD...They do it and they do it well. I would recommend this place to anybody.

My 19-month-old gets so excited every time that we walk in the doors at Goldfish Swim School. He loves getting to play while we swim and enjoys the warm water. He has learned how to climb on things at home due to learning fin, fin, belly, flipper, flipper to get out of the pool. Having the parents join in the swim class is also great bonding time and helps us learn how to encourage him to swim in our pool at home. He is now kicking his legs and pulling his arms on his own. Goldfish has been great for both of my kids. I appreciate how patient they were with my oldest son when he was hesitant to put his head under the water. They continued working with him until he was ready to do it. Now he is a confident swimmer who is on the Swim Force team and loves it. All of the teachers really care about their students and are so excited for them when they progress and move up. I also love the flexibility of Goldfish. There are lots of class times to choose from and they make it easy to make up classes if you have to miss one. We have been so happy with our Goldfish experience!

I was skeptical that Goldfish would be drastically different than other swim lessons but it quickly became obvious I was wrong. My daughter went from screaming at the mere mention of swim class to getting ready and running out the door. She started in the Jr. 1 class and within a short time she gained confidence and safety around the water. Now she can easily swim half the length of the pool and the full width. I can confidently take her around water without feeling like she has to be touching me at all times and she knows without a doubt not to be in the water alone.

Our 3 and a half year old began swimming at Goldfish at the age of 15 months. Goldfish Swim School has always met and exceeded our expectations for swim lessons and an activity with our son. We attended when he was an infant, took a break, and returned now that he's four years old. I appreciate the safety protocols, masking, and distancing too - as children under 12 are not yet able to be vaccinated against COVID-19. At least I know we're doing the best we can to keep him safe - while also making swim lessons a priority for safety as well.

We have been attending Gold Fish since late February and everyone is helpful, friendly and organized. My grandson is improving every lesson!

We just started about a month ago and are very please. The safety and health measures are great, staff is very friendly. I only wish the lessons were either a bit longer or twice a week (for the price being paid).

We both enjoyed swim school. The instructors were great. Although at times a little hard to hear, but thats understandable for the environment. Only downfall is I do think it was a little pricey. I found a ymca closer to me that is half the price for lessons. I am going to try them out to compare.

The staff in and out of the pool were welcoming, helpful, and supportive of the children and family. We appreciated the understanding and flexibility of make-up days. Our children learned quickly as the instructors are kind and encouraging. We enjoyed our experience so much, we signed up another year! Thank you for all you do!

Today was our kids first day and all I can say is I was impressed! For just a 30 minute lesson I feel that they already learned so much. The staff was very helpful and the facility was very nice with equipment for the lil ones that I didn't even know existed. The layout was perfect for viewing all 3 of our kids in the different lanes they were learning in. We feel this was definitely worth the price for the quality. Highly recommend.

The water is warm and comfy. The classes are reasonably priced and my little is already applying what he has learned. This is after just a few classes. Thank God the teachers know how to talk to the littles. The confidence and safety that is gained is a life long treasure!
