Golftec is a great, local training facility. Almost as good as my personal coach, Hunter Mettler! Five stars is too low a number to rate his coaching. He explains swing flaws in language I can really understand AND apply! I normally shoot mid nineties, after some focusing recommendations I came in with an 84 at Brookledge!

GOLFTEC in Brecksville has been an amazing experience for our family. Hunter was very thorough and brought a wealth of knowledge fitting myself for new woods. The new Pings have added 15-20 yards of length with added forgiveness. More importantly he has been providing weekly lessons to our middle school son for nearly a year and a half. His commitment to swing development, homework projects, and developing a relationship with a young teenager has produced amazing results. Our son’s golf game has improved significantly and his confidence level is through the roof. We are about to sign our second son up with Hunter. Highly recommended!

I’ve been working with Hunter, and he’s been awesome—super easy to work with, knowledgeable, and great at explaining what I need to fix without overcomplicating things. The tech they use really helps you see what’s going on in your swing, and I’ve noticed solid improvement over the last 6 months. I have a very unique swing since I have a lot of muscle. He works with what you can do rather than putting you into a cookie cutter type of swing. He also fit me into a 3 wood that has become my go to on tight par 4s.

I went to Golftec in the off season three years ago. My handicap dropped to a 4.4 index. In the last year, a snap hook crept into my swing which most affected my tee shots. My handicap nearly doubled and I shot my highest round in years. Frustrated, I tried a random lesson here and there and spent hours watching YouTube golf videos trying to diagnose my issue. I returned to Golftec to work with Justin Roth. Justin almost immediately diagnosed the primary causes of my hook. Justin is great at breaking down the individual components of your swing and explaining in simple terms approaches to make modifications. A couple months in and I have seen greater consistency, fewer penalty shots off the tee and finished the season strong with 4 consecutive rounds in the 70’s! My advice… stop watching YouTube videos and go to Golftec!

I have worked with Hunter this past summer and my game (and confidence) have never been better. So far I’ve been able to take about 6 or 7 strokes off my game so far, and hoping to take more off! I’ve been working with instructor Justin Roth, and his patience and attention to detail have made a big impact on my game. He takes the time to break down my swing in a way that’s easy to understand and apply.

We had to postpone my original club fitting last month because I was struggling to make solid contact with my irons. When we rescheduled to today, the same issue showed up at first—but Justin quickly diagnosed what was going wrong and helped me make the necessary adjustments.

Once we got going, he had me start with the Ping G440 7-iron. I striped the first shot right down the middle with about a 170-yard carry. I also tried the TaylorMade P770s and Mizuno JPX925 irons—while I got a bit more distance with the Mizuno, I felt much more consistent and in control with the Ping G440s. I ended up purchasing a full set before leaving.

If you're looking to improve your swing and truly understand what’s holding you back, I highly recommend scheduling a swing evaluation with Justin. His expertise and personalized approach are second to none.

I’ve been taking lessons regularly at GT for 4 years. I’ve had exposure to 3 coaches during this time all of which I’ve learned a great deal. I can highly recommend Justin Roth. He is able to communicate various swing thoughts and techniques to students and really has helped completely change my swing over the past 4 months. He is extremely knowledgeable and can quickly evaluate your swing flaws and come up with drills to help you correct them. Like anything with golf, you will need regular practice time and patience to achieve the results you desire.

GOLFTEC | Coach Justin Roth

I’m several months in with lessons at GOLFTEC and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Working with Coach Justin Roth has been transformative. Ball striking is greatly improved and is translating to better scoring and increased enjoyment of the game.

Justin’s coaching style is incredibly effective. He breaks down complex techniques into very manageable pieces and offers minor corrections that have major impact. He is a great teacher and very personable which makes each lesson quite enjoyable. The other staff members at GOLFTEC are terrific and very welcoming when coming in to practice on the sims. The Brecksville location quickly became a comfortable environment.

One of the standout features is the technology. The tools available through GOLFTEC, including swing analysis and real-time feedback, are invaluable. Once you know what to look for it is pretty easy to self-correct challenge areas using the sim tools and burn those fixes into muscle memory. The GOLFTEC app is an excellent resource for post-lesson training. It allows you to revisit lessons, track progress, and access drills tailored to specific needs.

Overall, my time at GOLFTEC has been both fun and rewarding. I’ve seen noticeable improvement and highly recommend GOLFTEC to anyone looking to elevate their game.

I have been going to Justin for the past 6 months. Justin has been some impactful on my game, I followed him from North Olmsted to the Brecksville location even though this is much further away. The facility is great with all the technology you could ask for. Options to get fit into clubs to suit your game. The best part of the experience is seeing results when you go out to play your game on the course. Understanding the intricacies of flaws in your game and developing a plan to improve. As with everything, practice is key and ensures what is taught in the lesson transpires on the course. Golf is hard and Justin can help develop a plan.

I followed Justin to this location from Cleveland West. The setup here is great with very nice practice and instruction bays and a lot of clubs to choose from for proper fittings. The GolfTec technology and lessons have helped me reduce my index significantly and i can't wait to see where it goes. A1 practice facility in my book!

Relatively new into my taking-golf-seriously journey and glad to have found golftec along the way. Used to struggle to break 90 despite playing frequently. After now two sessions with Coach Justin Roth, he not only has me in the right equipment, but also has me thinking my way around a course rather than beating a ball, finding it, and beating it again.

Happy to say being in the 70s now is the expectation and this year, have posted a personal-best 68 on two occasions. Would not be here without GolfTec and Coach Roth. Highly recommend.

I took my grandson who is a beginner golfer to Golftec for lessons. The instructor Justin was excellent. His knowledge of the golf swing and communication skills are very impressive and his skill in using different golf props/drills available at Golftec really simplified the learning process. The launch monitor and camera system at Golftec are very good making it much easier to learn how to golf or improving your golf swing. I would definitely recommend for new golfers or golfers wanting to improve their game.

If you’re looking to improve your game, GOLFTEC is where it’s at. I’ve been working with my coach Justin Roth here for about a year and I’ve already hit my goal of breaking 90 a few times. All of the staff are friendly, the coaches are patient and adjust lessons based on your swing, overall goals etc., the feedback is immediate with multiple screens even in non-coached practice sessions and the lesson summaries on the app are great for reviews in between lessons. Plus they just got brand new equipment, lighting, etc so the experience in the bays is that much better. I really couldn’t be happier with my choice to take lessons here to up my game.

The staff consisting of Kevin Lovell and Eugene Choi are outstanding coaches. They are both very personable, knowledgeable and professional.
My coach is Kevin Lovell and I must say that I have learned more from Kevin than any other golf professional from whom I have taken lessons. I will be renewing my membership shorty and Kevin is a big reason why.

Just another box store that wants to sell you long term training packages and does not keep promises. Teaching staff is nice although. Owner and management won’t even contact you if problems arise. Equipment is glitchy and freezes up a lot. Place is in serious need of updates. Plenty of better options out there for coaching and fitting.

I walked into the GOLFTEC location in my hometown of Brecksville this past winter. I was immediately warmly greeted by Kevin Lovell asking me how he could help. I signed up for 10 lessons and learned a ton about a fundamentally sound golf swing. Kevin has been great to learn from. And, we became good friends, as well. I highly recommend Kevin and GOLFTEC.

I used half of my lesson package before being told it expired. I was injured for part of this time and was stuck out of the country in quarantine for an entire month. Golftec did nothing to accommodate me. It’s just bad business.
