I had always been intimidated with group exercise and CrossFit style workouts. I had my first class here and havenβt looked back. Ross put me at ease, gave easy to understand instructions on form, and kept a watchful eye on how I was progressing. The group there are great people and before I knew it, I was hooked on working out. The inclusive atmosphere will have you coming back and working out harder than you would if you were on your own. So donβt think twice, this is a great place to be despite your age or experience.

If you're looking for a personal trainer, Ross Staadecker is the guy!
I have been training with Ross twice a week since 2015.Β Shortly after I started, I tore my meniscus.Β But I didn't quit!Β He worked me through it and around it for eight months.Β His support and knowledge is what kept me motivated and challenged to continue.Β Fast forward to date, I'm still working with Ross.Β Why so long?Β It keeps me on track, back on track, and accountable.
I can truly say, I never had a repeat workout, ever.Β From strength training, weight lifting, curcuits, cardio and anything in between there is always variety!Β My all time favorite thing to do is a workout with his deck of cards.
Ross explains things very well.Β He shows by example and he practices what he preaches.Β He is dedicated and believes in what he does and what YOU can do. It will most definitely show in your results if you do the same.Β He understands and doesn't train with that "one size fits all" mentality when it comes to nutrition, routines or workouts.Β This I believe, is one of many things that set him apart from a lot of the personal trainers out there today.Β Whatever age or fitness level you are currently at, you will be amazed at the improvements you will achieve and how many new things you can learn with him if you stick with it.
I can't review on any experience with the classes at Iron-Oak Fitness because personally it's not my thing, but I can tell you my observations while training during two different classes. I see the classes typically full week after week. I've seen many of the same faces for a few years now. I see a lot of people at different ages and fitness levels working their butts off and having a pretty good time! This speaks volumes so they must be doing something pretty awesome!

As a member of this gym for the past year I have found many reasons to love it. It is a friendly and non-judgemental community that is welcoming and encouraging to all. There is a great variety to the workouts that are challenging yet are easily tailored to each individual's needs and fitness ability. They are even adaptable if working out from home or on the road. Ross is knowledgeable and encouraging and genuinely cares about his members and tries to impact their lives with a positive, holistic approach. I look forward to going every day. I highly recommend Iron Oak Fitness.

Iron-Oak Fitness is the right place and Ross is the right personal trainer/coach that you are looking for. I believe Coaching is a uniqe talent not just about certification and he has that talent. Means; if your coach can manage your focus individually during your trainings, results are coming naturally. Flexible schedule options and daily changing workout routine is the key at my case for success. So, I highly recommend. Just join to the Crew!

I absolutely love the classes. Been going to them for about a year now. I have lost 30 lbs and I'm actually been sticking to my workout routine with these classes. I also do personal training with Ross. His workouts are the best! I am a mom of 3 kids and work a full time job. And I'm on the road to being in the best shape of my life πͺ
I have been to a lot of different workout classes been around different personal trainers. Ross is by far one of the best personal trainers I've met and his classes are amazing.

I have been a member for 9 months(ish) and the quality/variety of workouts are unlike anything I have experienced before - military included. The attention the trainers provide to everyone from experienced members to walk-in/try-out newbies is second to no one. Ross goes to great lengths to create unique workouts each and every day. Completely judgment free zone as you get to go at your own pace and build up to where you want to be. You see results week after week when you stick to the 360 Program.

I highly recommend Iron-Oak Fitness. Ross went above and beyond in making sure we were able to continue working out during the quarantine. Now that he is allowed reopen, he has taken every precaution to ensure we can work out safely. And, he is still helping everyone who is not ready to come back in. I wanted to write this review to tell everyone the experience Iron-Oak Fitness gave it's members, as well as, anyone who wanted to stay active during the quarantine by creating workout videos, zoom sessions (for members), and outside social distancing classes (for members) I have been a member for two years now but, literally, from the day everything closed the owner/coach at Iron-Oak, Ross, and Kayla, began offering various workouts to keep EVERYONE active! Ross checked in on all his members...making sure we were sticking to our goals and it really helped me to stay on track! If you are looking for a gym with supportive and fun members and coaches that care about you achieving your goals, give Ross a call! He has been working tirelessly to get the gym ready for the reopening...come check it out!

Covid-19 update:
The folks at Iron Oak really care about my well-being.
I was feeling a bit sluggish when the social distance order went into effect; and Ross has done an amazing job providing different solutions to keep me active.
I really appreciate the attentive, custom workout solutions that were offered to me just for being a member. Ross really went above and beyond when he truly did not need to! This man really cares about his work and his clients.

The staff is great; very helpful, encouraging, and knowledgeable.
It's a relaxed atmosphere, all the members I have met are friendly and welcoming.
Workouts are always challenging, and my favorite part is they have it all planned for you...no more thinking, "what am I going to do at the gym today?"

UPDATE: Iron-Oak Fitness has been amazing throughout the COVID-19 chaos! Ross Staadecker and his team have made so many resources available to members and even the larger community! Having the option of attending a Zoom class or doing a killer at-home workout has kept me on track with my goals and helped maintain my sanity during this quarantine. Iron-Oak has been there there every step of the way, and I appreciate that!

I initially joined Iron Oak for the 6 week nutrition/fitness challenge. I enjoyed myself so much that I signed up for a year membership immediately. The classes are fun, varied, and challenging. The Coaches are great. I recently completed the Spartan Beast and I owe a lot to Iron-Oak and the strength I have gained.

I started at this gym doing the 6 week challenge a few months back. I didn't want to stop there so I became a member. Not only do I physically feel healthier but mentally as well.
I learned how to "eat right" and not diet, exercise the right way and made new friends.
Ross and Kayla as well as the other members made me feel welcomed and have been very supportive.
I highly recommend anyone struggling with diet and exercise to give this a try, you won't regret it!

The workouts can be tailored to any fitness or skill level, the coaches are very knowledgeable and engaging, and all of the members are constantly pushing each other to get better. So let me just say if your not the fit one... I am very obese and had not worked out in years. The trainer Ross and his colleagues like Kayla are their for you. They want you to get healthy and they will support you any way they can. I have had several medical things going on but have felt my best on the days that I have seen them. They are not pretentious or will coddle you during workouts. They push you to do your best. My preteen son was cleared to work out and I have seen improvements. People come in with a smile and leave with one. I had trainers when I was younger and fit who were their to train one type of client. Ross is here for anyone who wants to really work out and with correct form. These are not light workouts with bad form. My nephew is in the military and works out 6 days a week. He came to the facility when visiting me and was very impressed with Ross and gym. It is not just for people at the peak of their health but also for people like me who want to enter the game of becoming healthy again. Their is no magic bullet but I feel better going to him.
The prices are fair. The attention is on you. The facility is clean. The times for classes and personal training are good. They work with you. The contract for personal training is fair and simple. The type of work outs with trainer are a mixture and definitely geared for you. Most of all Ross the owner and Kayla are friendly and approachable. Look at the reviews as I read every one of them prior to starting. They speak for themselves. FYI they do not ask you to write reviews no incentiveπ

This is a great CrossFit gym. Coaching is helpful & consistent, programming is challenging & effective, and pricing is better than other local CrossFit gyms I viewed online during a quick two week stay outside of Cleveland, OH March 2019. I would come back to this gym as a temproeary or permanent member. I highly recommend giving this gym a shot if you are in the area.

I have been a member of Iron-Oak Fitness for almost 2 years and I still look forward to going to class to work out, 4-5 times a week! It is disappointing for me when I have a conflict and have to miss a class. The atmosphere at this gym is perfect for me: friendly, very supportive, noncompetitive and extremely motivating! The coaches are very competent, knowledgeable and fun to work with. Classes are diverse and made up of people with varying sizes and shapes, with different levels of fitness and experience and with varying age ranges. Everybody is working at their own individual level. Seeing the growth in my strength, flexibility and energy level has been very personally rewarding. The people I workout with at Iron-Oak Fitness are like family to me! I highly recommend that you do yourself a favor and check this place out! :)

Small but very personal and friendly atmosphere. I came from out of state to work out for the week and had a good time. Ross the trainer/owner was knowledgeable, patient, and a delight to deal with. The other trainers were great as well; Kayla is full of life and spunky as hell, Brenda overall pleasant and lovely to work with. If your stopping in for a one time pass thru or looking for a full time gig I would recommend this location. If im ever in the Solon area again I will be back.

I have been a member at Iron Oak since August. I can not say enough about this gym. Ross and Brenda are the absoulute BEST IN EVERY way. Not only do they push you to get the very best workout but they are also there for you on a personal level. A couple of times when I have lost my focus, they are there for me to get me back on track.

I have been a member of Iron Oak Fittness for just over 6 months. I have tried several gyms in the area and instantly I felt like this was home. I knew after my interview with Ross this was where I wanted to be and signed a year contract before trying a class. They have several coaches that all have unique styles of motivating you to push harder and their goal is for you to see results.
We recently did a 30 day challenge on nutrition and a better ways to fuel your body. By sticking to the plan in two weeks I lost a dress size just by changing my eating habits.
I would give 10 stars if I could. Not only did I find a gym that fits all my needs I have made new friends for life. Your missing out if you dont give IOF a try.

I high recommend Iron-Oak Fitness. The coaches are top notch and very passionate about their work and your fitness, especially the owners Ross and Brenda. I feel like they really care and want me and all clients to be successful. Iron-Oak is for all levels of fitness. The coaches are always available to make sure you are doing the exercises correctly and to encourage you give your max effort. The workouts are always different and challenging. Everything there is a well thought out machine including the facility, location, workouts, trainers, equipment, etc.
The coach are all extremely dedicated to making sure I am successful with my fitness goals. Over the year that I have been a member I have lost inches from my body but what I've gained from the gym and the people there is invaluable - strength, knowledge, determination and friends who feel like family who keep encouraging me to keep coming back.

Last year, I was completely new to crossfit. I enrolled in a 6 week challenge at Iron-Oak Fitness. I had no clue what I was getting myself into. The coaches were patient and encouraging. Participants were strangers that came from all levels. At the end of the 6 weeks I was hooked, so I enrolled in the Foundations class. Again, coaches were patient, but pushed me to new levels. Now, the strangers and coaches have become family. If I miss a few days they check on me to see if I am ok. We embrace everyone at Iron Oak, so if you want to change your lifestyle, become fit, and meet new people try Iron-Oak Fitness. You will not be sorry!

I've been working with the trainers at Iron Oaks for 2 months so far and every experience has been so positive! When I began this journey, I was 7 months postpartum (c-section) and nervous as hell to get back into working out. Brenda and Ross showed me tough love when it came to stepping out of my comfort zone. I'm now onto my second 6-week program with Mason and I still can't believe that I've stuck with it! I'm officially addicted! The trainers know there stuff and make sure you are doing the movements correctly. You will get your money's worth at this place and you will refer your friends!

Fantastic trainers that are focused on success. They help with technique and form to make sure that you're getting the most from your workout. Very knowledgeable and relatable trainers. They will teach you the correct form and motions to get the most out of your workout.
