Great place for classes! Everyone here is so welcoming and it really feels like family. Julie and Mary both go out of their way to make the classes accessible for all ages and fitness levels. I've taken the fully fit (weightlifting) class and the cardio drumming. Both are a lot of fun and make exercising really enjoyable.

I trained with Julie for about year and a half. Unfortunately due to some pretty major personal issues I got off track. Even though my eating was off track I still enjoyed training with Julie. In fact it was the one thing I loved to do. Instead of letting me continue and doing what I love, Julie decided I needed a break. I begged her not to do this to me. I even went and hired a health coach to help me with the emotional eating. I asked her to please let me return early. She said no. Obviously she didn't want to train me anymore. I have found a much better trainer and support system at the Y who is so much more knowledgeable and cheaper .
If Julie was a knowledgeable trainer she would of had other ways to help me instead of giving up on me. My food coach who knows Julie and said Amy I am not like that and would never do that to you. If one way doesn't work you try another

I've worked out in Julie's fitness classes for 3 years and always get a great workout! Julie is very knowledgeable, motivating, positive, and makes getting fit fun! All the other trainers, that I've worked with, are great at what they do as well. The studio is very nice and it has a friendly family-like atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone who would like to get fit and healthy?

I have been going to Julie's classes for about 4 years. When I started I was overweight and out of shape. I had been exercising on my own at the gym but wasn't really making any significant progress. Then one day Julie invited me to take one of her classes. I accepted although I wasn't that excited about it and wasn't really expecting much.
I was pleasantly surprised by that first class. I struggled to keep up and barely made it through the entire workout. At the end I felt like I had gotten more of a workout than I had gotten in a very long time. Since then I have been trying to take as many classes as I can that Julie's offers. Since then I have lost over 25 pounds, lowered my blood pressure considerably, have significantly reduced my lower back pain by strengthening my core, and have gotten much toner to boot. I just feel so much better now than I had for many years prior to starting these fitness classes.
All of the instructors at Julie's are fantastic teachers and motivators. I've enjoyed the opportunity to take classes from most of them at some point and have gotten great workouts at each class.
One of the best things about Julie's is that each individual can workout at their own level. You are encouraged and motivated to challenge yourself but ultimately it is up to you to take it to the next level, whatever that is for you. My other favorite thing about Julie's is that we all encourage each other and acknowledge those that have reached their fitness goals.
Julie's Fitness Studio is a fantastic place to get fit and have fun doing it!
