Our ultimate goal, our guiding principle, the single thought that drives everything we do from programming to the way we interact with the children isβ¦to help kids grow into happy, healthy, responsible adults. Sports and physical activity are the tool by which we learn that but the underlying thoughts are to guide our kids on how to thrive as adults.

I was really interested in sending my child here for aerial arts. Until I learned about the racism in the aerial arts program. This was disappointing for me. The aerial community should be an accepting place. Everyone is different and we should celebrate our differences. Treating others badly because of skin color is not okay. Racism is a ugly thing and diversity is a beautiful thing. Nobody should feel unsafe in their work environment.

The instructors here are amazing! My sweet baby girl has been working so hard at her tumbling and Luci has made her dreams come true by helping her through her mental block! Everyday she comes home so happy and she looks up to her so much.

I would not recommend it to anyone who wants to send their child to this complex because they do not work with children and they will also act as if your child is at fault.
We took our son to swimming lessons, the first day they worked with him everything was fine, the next day when they did not work with him, when we said we paid for you to work with him they said he was out of control.
Also about hip hop classes my son went to a trial class he did much better than the others but when they taught new moves he had a bit of a hard time instead of teaching him the teacher just moved him away from the other kids.
As a result, we lost time and mood.

Kids First is a great place to be. I would know because Iβm going on my fifth year here. After the pandemic, with two young children, this place was our heaven. We have enrolled in ~8 programs over the years and have been happy with the classes and instructors. Once in a while, they offer unlimited classes for certain programs and itβs a great way to keep busy while honing that particular skill. Usually I am here twice a week, but there have been times I was coming as often as 4 days a week. With that said, Iβve had many interactions with the hospitality team and they are fantastic. I never had a bad experience here. If there was an issue, it is taken cared of after I voiced my concerns. The front desk is always available and will always do their best to serve the needs of their customers.
Take advantage of their discount programs, extra class offerings, and free trials. I also love that they offer financial assistance to those in need. It is truly a great place for the kids and they have plenty of benches for the adults to sit on.

Had my daughter enrolled in tumblebee when she was 2 years old, took her out at 3 years old because on weekends the company lets kids take care of kids.
Like the many comments from the other reviews a teenage worker of theirs made an unnecessary and embarrassing comment by asking us βdoes your daughter understand basic instructions? Because it seems like thereβs nothing thereβ. Hailey (teenage instructor) just basically called her stupid in front of us and other parents present. Now my daughter isnβt perfect but what position or background does she have to comment on my daughterβs development? Sheβs only 3 years old.
The student to class ratio used to be good when we first enrolled since my daughter used to be in swim classes, but it went bad later. It just basically became a cash grab for their βtumble beeβ classes.
Now maybe this isnβt Haileyβs fault but the managementβs for failing to train their teenage staff on how to interact with parents but seems like they need to learn.
Maybe Haileyβs a child psychologist or psychiatrist and we just got a free assessment and should be thankful.

I would like to share my experience with the swimming pool. My child has been attending for a year now but, unfortunately, still hasnβt learned how to swim. They attend classes four times a week, including Sundays from 12:00 to 12:30. However, most of this time is spent talking instead of actually teaching the children how to swim.
The staff seems extremely unprofessional. There are constant reasons for canceling lessons: a holiday, snow, rain, too much sun, or even βDog Day,β βCat Day,β and so on. Because of this, my child has missed many lessons, yet we are still required to pay in full.
This is not just my opinionβfive of my friends whose children also attended this swimming pool completely agree with me. I strongly advise against enrolling your child here. Of course, the decision is yours, but think twice before signing up.

Started taking my daughter to Tumble Bees when she was three months old. The instructor, Steph, is an amazing human. You can tell she really loves her job. Now my daughter is six months old and goes to the next level of Tumble Bees. Her current instructor, I forgot her name, is just as amazing. Multiple people have complimented how my daughter is developing so well. I give all the credit to Kids First and their amazing classes and instructors. I recommend this place to all my mom friends.

Had my daughter enrolled in tumble bees. She had just turned 4 and I eventually unenrolled from the class due to the attitudes of the teenage/college aged instructors. They often seemed inconvenienced by the need to redirect kids, there was not nearly enough instructors for each group of children and there was very little emphasis on any gymnastics. Maybe a somersault. For the price, it just wasnβt worth it. We also previously had her enrolled in soccer and some weeks it would just be her in the class, which definitely wasnβt the social experience we hopped to give her. The coach was kind but definitely wanted the kids to complete skills a certain way that was too advanced.

I have a deep appreciation for places that value the whole person and truly are doing what they preach. Kids First truly teaches kids (and even parents) tools that will help them in the real world, itβs more than just the sports. Teaching young kids how to stand in line, talk to adults, follow instruction and achieve success at such a young age. And as they get older and move through the programs, Iβve seen them develop into even more responsible, disciplined individuals who can handle disappointments and setbacksβ¦ all lessons they will take into other parts of their lives. Having four kids who have done just about everything there and one that now works there, I never question that Kids First was and is an instrumental part of why my kids are as disciplined and well adjusted as they are. Thank you KF, itβs rare that you find a place as big as they are who still cares for each person that walks through the door on an individual level.

Edit on December 26th:
kids first called to apologize and did refund our tuition. They found our email when they searched and apologized for missing it and not following up.
I've changed my rating from 1 to 3 because the pool and classes were nice, they just don't meet our specific needs.
Original review:
Unfortunately they do not honor their 100% guarantee. We signed up on Nov 22nd and canceled on December 14th because we were not satisfied with the facilities.
I THOUGHT that this statement meant we could cancel in 30 days and get our money back:
"The Kids First 100% tuition-back guarantee if not satisfied within your first month of classes"
Unfortunately I paid nearly $150 for ONE class because we missed the first class due to sickness then attended a class on December 10th then canceled. $150 for one class because I thought we could try out their classes and get our money back if it wasn't a good fit.
It wasn't a good fit for us because there were only 3 showers for a pool full of classes. My daughter is low weight and gets cold very easily and also has eczema. We were not able to get her into a warm shower in a timely manner so we skipped the shower to change her and get her warm. She wound up cold after swimming and wasn't able to wash off the chlorine. This won't work for us and I let kids first know that when I canceled. After asking over email if we would get our money back, I never heard from them again.

Update: we've been here for a few years now, in the tumble bee program (now worker bee) and swim instruction. I've learned that the program instructor makes all the difference. Some are attentive, corrective and really push the kids to learn and progress. Others are distracted and phoning it in. If you get stuck with the latter, try to switch nights to get a better instructor. It really does make all the difference in how much your child learns and how much bang you get for your $$$ .

My oldest daughter started camp here 5 years ago. She loved it. The counselors are on the same level as the kids in wanting to have fun. I am so impressed with the counselors, field trips, themes. Even with being an active duty family where we move constant/living other states. When we are in town visiting family or a handful of months we always come back to kids first. We have done events as well. When my youngest daughter was of age we have done gymnastics, trampoline classes. Now we are doing cheer classes. The staff is nice and very active with all the kids. When I have had questions, anything regarding my account. The front desk staff has always been amazing with helping. Thank you to all the staff!

I love this place. More importantly, my baby loves this place. We do TumbleBees and Swim, and it has helped my baby with her social development and her motor skills. The teachers are great, the classes are great and typically around 6 kids for my baby's age, with parents in the classes, and everyone works hard to make sure the place is clean and safe for all the athletes in the building.

A high quality all in one physical entertainment center. My eldest daughter went here for ballet years ago and now goes for gymnastics. My littlest does tumblebees and is about to start the swimming program. Cafe is spacious and relaxing to feed the little one while her sister is doing all the flippy stuff within view. Parking seems better than it used to be, but we will see how that unfolds once the new hall next door opens and tournaments return.

I signed my boys (age 2 and 4) up for Tumble Bees about 6 months ago. We love every visit and come out sweaty and excited. The 4 year old program is fantastic and my son has learned new skills in such a short period of time. My 4 year old loves rotating instructors and kids in his group!
The 2 year old program works around you and your l two year old tantrums and their developing skills. Miss Lady is super patient and wonderful with the 2βs class, we absolutely love her!
We would definitely recommend Kids First Sports for their Tumble Bees program! We are so sad to move out of state and leave the class. :(

Today I watched my daughter and her two-month old son have such a great time at the Baby Bees (mommy and me) gymnastics class. The instructor was amazing! She had tons of energy, gave clear instructions, and managed to keep track of 6 or 7 moms/dads and their babies (who were all under 6 months) for almost 45 minutes. And the best part? The classes for babies up until the are six months old are FREE!! The Kids First facility and the people who work there are amazing!

Iβve been using kids first for a few months for my two sons, 4 and 6. Itβs a very clean and well run facility, with a ton of equipment and classes spanning from beginning to (apparently) very advanced kids. There are a few things I like in particular about it: itβs very boy-friendly, with male teachers for the βgym jamβ and a significant number of boys in the program, which makes it more inclusive for my guys. The tumblebees program is staffed by extremely friendly and helpful instructors who help the more reluctant kids enjoy themselves with something new. And in general it seems to do a great job of keeping kids engaged as they become more advanced and experienced. The only negative is cost, but for my guys itβs a worthwhile expense.

This place is great. My daughter did the tumble bees baby class and the baby splash classes. We had Kim for swim class and she is delightful. We had a guy sub one day (Tim?) and he was wonderful as well. Very cheery and encouraging place. Tumble bees was very clean, which mattered a lot to me with a 3 month old. The teacher varied because it was vacation season. I liked the sub teacher better because she went into more detail and didn't assume everyone had been there before. Both the swim class and tumble class are free for the first six months for a baby! The reason for four stars is the pricing of classes. They were really steep for baby classes. Also, the changing rooms being co ed made it a little awkward for my husband to help with my daughter (his personal feelings).
