Love this gym! I lift a few days out of the week and am also able to get my cardio in playing basketball the other days. I’ve been coming for a while now, but notice great improvements since Dana and Rico started managing the facility. Updated 9/26/25.... alot better, underwear in the hot tolub is being properly policed, facility is cleaner, hot water is working, and overall better since la fitness took it back. 2-27-25 3 year member, was pretty bad, getting better, lots has been fixed recently, and the staff has been more attentive to the idiots wearing underwear in the pool and hot tub. It still takes like 30 minutes to get luke warm water in the shower, signs are still all in english, so only 10 people can read them.

Not a clean location! Floors are dirty /Bathroom is dirty. They don’t have a janitor that cleans regularly because the same dirty spots are always there.
They have old equipment/ no maintenance being done. Treadmill belts are loose so you gotta be careful not to fall.
Someone brought their Pitbull dog in without a leash. Staff didn’t even acknowledge them.
And front desk people look dirty like they just woke up.

The staff was kind and helpful. The equipment was easy to use and wipes accessible for cleaning. They have a swimming pool, basketball court with volleyball net, dance studio, racketball, free weights and other training equipment. LA fitness app makes checking in a breeze. Some machines are missing straps around feet or the TV screens have been removed from some. Cheaper to dispose of things then to replace, I assume. A little out dated and could use a deep clean, power wash around the pool.

I want to give this location 5-stars but I can’t. A few things I noticed on my recent visit.

1. No towels available at this location, although I opted to pay extra for towels with my membership.

2. The day I came to swim, there were two grown men splish splashing around in the pool as if we were at Six Flags White Waters, no one came in to remove them. Others including myself were attempting to actually swim, some became frustrated and left.

3. The sauna wasn’t in service.

We have been in twice now to have our membership cancelled because the equipment is always broken or dirty. No manager is EVER there and we never got a cancelation email as the girl we spoke with said she would take down our names and we would get an email. Never got an email. They never answer the phone. This has been broken for several months and compounding that problem is the fact that it is the ONLY thigh machine in the entire building. I was assigned to trainer named “Bryan Hancock”. Training was below the baseline even though I have to pay $600 for 12 sessions for a month. Before I quit the membership, I had trained for 2 sessions and still they took $600 for whole month.

I noticed how the other members neglect to have the facility dusted, there's soo much dust the past managers didn't have cleaned.

I feel bad for out new managers of 2025, that the dust wasn't cleaned.

I told the manager of the hanger in the toilet stall, all it needed was a simple turn of a screw or two to use preventive maintenance to secure the hanger.

Coming from another business owner service is very important an employee was proceeding to purchase a day pass for me and buddy and a manager named John walks up saying are you a member and here to play basketball ? My buddy replied no we are not member and yes indeed want to play basketball and he proceeded to say we have to have a membership to play basketball. I tried it out today. The pool is very spacious and clean. The hot tub is very relaxing! Looks like this will be how I get my laps in during the colder months. Equipment looks nice and Christopher is very friendly and knowledgeable. The only tiny complaint I have is the chlorine level is very high in the hot tub, which burned my nose some. Otherwise everything was great. I was nervous to come at first because of some of the reviews. But thankfully I was pleasantly surprised. Will definitely become a member :)

I just cancel my membership after being with LA FITNESS for a month . David which is the membership director has been very disrespectful toward me. This place truly do not value customers. I came into this location yesterday to signup for a membership and was greeted by a very helpful lady who happened to be at the front checking members into the facility. She was the only one working the front and still managed to get me signed up fairly quickly and was quite helpful as far as accessing my new pass. (My workplace grants me access to this gym)

Afterward, i proceeded into the gym and began to check out all the amenities the facility had to offer. Not only 2 minutes in, and i hear a guy yelling toward me “AYE BRUH”. I turn around and see the guy is waving toward me, as if he was the bouncer of a club . Anyways, i greet the guy and he immediately goes “YOU AINT CHECK IN”. I explained i did check in and you can ask the woman working the front who signed me up. He pointed at another guy working there and said “The white dude said you ain’t check in”. After that there was nothing to explain . Asked his name, he said “Suge” and he was “the manager”. Completely unprofessional and rude. If you were the manager, you don’t approach members or potential members at a gym facility like you do in the streets . It would be more wise to politely greet and first check in with the employee who is allowing all members into the facility. Horrible and wouldn’t recommend this location.

The politics nationwide of closing some of all of tye basketball 🏀 courts completely or even in this Case 4 hours before the entire gym is unacceptable and I'm going to have to cancel my two membership accounts and join a real gym "lifetime fitness" . Because I pay a membership price only to play in door on the basketbsll court as we have a full weight room at home. I just don't understand the logic of closing the basketball courts, but not the racquet ball courts or the swimming pool. To me it seems like if basketball courts are an issue install turf and make indoor flag football or soccer, but don't lock a perfectly usable facility only for us to look through the door at something we pay for, but cab use and still charge us the full membership price. Continually disappointing. I've been going here for years and it's been consistently sub par. There a few key staff here that are amazing, but after that there's not much left to like other than the proximity to my house. If they weren't so close I'd have stop coming years ago. I enjoy the early morning staff and patrons, there's a nice community really early. But as it gets later in the day things just get worse. There's constant problems in the basketball courts which typically results in a revolving set of ridiculous rules that only punish the responsible patrons. Numerous machines and equipment are always broken or missing. There aren't enough bars or clamps for all of the benches and various racks to be used simultaneously. There are literally only like 3 clamps remaining for the entire gym, creating safety hazards as people are forced to lift with no clamps securing the weights. The sauna, which is one of the main things I continue to come for, is always broken. Most of these issues are sadly the result of a minority of terrible patrons who steal and seemingly intentionally break things. The problem is the location does nothing to fix or mitigate things, other than again making rules that only impact/punish the responsible patrons. They make promises that they're addressing it and then months/ years go by with no change. It's very frustrating. I think most staff in the building are really trying and the problem lies with upper/corporate management, but it's becoming increasingly harder to remain a paying customer with such subpar service. I'm slowly building my home gym and may eventually give up. If I had a home sauna (working on that), I'd already have left. This is sad because there is a great community here in the mornings and a few super star staff members. They've really got to do better overall though for the patrons and the staff who are trying to hold things together.

I get what I pay for. For an $11 monthly basic membership (I joined in early 2021), I have access to free weights, some cardio and pulley machines and an open field to do cartwheels if I wanted (joking). I concur that the place could be cleaner and broken machines could be fixed sooner (or at least have signage to prevent potential customer injury). I have pinpointed my working go-to machines and equipment at this point and go early or at low occupation times for uninterrupted access. I also bring my own Clorox wipes just in case supplies are out at the sanitation stations. I’m just glad this place is still open and survived the pandemic. The staff I’ve encountered have been friendly - front desk, even a man whom I believe is the maintenance person in the morning.

Avoid investing your money and time in this gym. Once you commit to a membership, you're essentially bound by a 4-month contract with little value. Numerous machines have been malfunctioning for months, and the staff neglects cleanliness, evident in hand marks on basketball court doors, food in lockers, and rust in the hot tub. The water fountain is filthy and sometimes the food is expired in the vending machine. Even when raised with the staff, these issues are met with indifference. Exploring alternative gyms or fitness in the area would be a better use of your time and money.

We wound up cancelling our membership after 5 years in the summer 2023. The facility had gone downhill and became increasingly dirty over the last 5 years. Locker rooms, the insides of lockers and the showers are not adequately cleaned. You can see black stuff at the bottom of the pool which we had used frequently. If it had been kept clean, we would have stayed as it offers classes, weights, swimming, individual machines, personal training. Staff are professional and friendly. Paying top dollar to a cleaning business or individuals to keep the place sparkling would help garner more business. We loved this place initially but did not want to risk our health by swimming in a pool that had black spots on the bottom of the pool floor. Sadly, it's affordable to the average working class person, but not worth it.

This gym has some significant issues that require urgent attention. The women's restroom is plagued by ant infestations. When made aware of their water bug problem they covered it with a trash can. Several pieces of equipment have been out of order for months, and the recurring fire alarm disturbances on weekends are quite disruptive. Chasing after higher customer volume instead of a quality environment, the LA Fitness, now Esporta brand has become a run-of-the-mill gym. Customer service and cleanliness is non-existent. Everything seems to need repairs or service, sauna, equipment. Equipment it self was not very clean. Non-guest need to pay $40.00 to enter basketball court seems extreme. I did not stay nor will I return to this location.

I have been a member at this gym since it first opened and it's gone through it's ebbs and flows but the Operations manager at this location currently, I believe his name is Jordan, has whipped this place back into shape. The machines are getting fixed and communicated to the members, the locker room smells great. I really appreciate his high level of attention to detail. I encourage more people to come to this location.

The locker room usually takes a beating over the weekend but I got here Monday morning at 10 and it was spotless. Fresh smelling, all the urinals were clean. Kudos to maintenance and management

Ever since Esporta took over, and it ceased to be LA Fitness, hardly any of the treadmills work anymore. There are 20 here. Two or three are fully functional. It's pretty bad. The rest of the gym is in pretty good shape.

Almost twenty years I've had a membership with LA Fitness since I lived in California. It's too bad.

A complete 180 from a year ago. The gym is clean and fresh the employees have a outstanding personality. Weights for the normally re racked and locker room area is cleaned diligently.

Absolutely do not go here, unprofessional management staff and the only way to cancel is if the OM is on site and they're only there during the weekdays. Bathrooms are usually dirty, equipment that breaks won't be fixed for months, it's overcrowded, and arguments on the courts turn into people talking about pulling a gun.

When I was there on Saturday, these two new workers were being very unprofessional and causing commotion with a woman and her child. It went on for a bit and I’m not sure what it was about but there should be no reason for the workers to be arguing with a lady and her kid, they should be humiliated by the way they acted.

All Esporta's are disgusting. I've never seen the Esporta in Reynoldburg men's locker room clean. There is always trash everywhere on the main floor. Thinking I'm gonna switch to Planet Fitness 100% cleaner.

Clean gym! Staff is always friendly. There are certain times it's pretty full, but gym equipment is still available for use without long wait times. I wish I was more consistent, but I love it here.

I've been going to this gym for years, since it was LA and I always pay in full each year and have guest passes. My husband and I went to work out today like we have been since I renewed in Feb and they told me I no longer have guest passes ?? Even though I verified when I renewed my membership that it still included a guess pass and was told it did. So we had to leave and now I wish I could just get a refund but they keep your money if you sign up for a year. What a scam.

As a current member and have been for a long time, I’ve seen this club progressively go downhill. Most recent experiences have left me thinking the staff thinks it’s free and we shouldn’t complain about anything. It’s become a social club. Eating Cheetos while occupying and bench and refusing to move. Paper towels rarely stocked. I usually have to go three and four sinks down to find soap. Locker room reeks or weed. Inside of lockers, stink and looks like has never been cleaned. Not sure when the floors were last mopped. Machines constantly broken for months at a time. The scanner at the desk barley works and staff will mock you instead of helping. I could go on and on. I’ve paid my last bill. Moving to a better club.

This place used to be good and exclusive. Used to be clean. Used to be less crowded.
Now that they run a $10 a month it has become something else.
Bathroom and the locker room is always dirty. A shame I used to like this place.

Place is trashed and most the machines don't work and haven't for a while. Since they changed names from la fitness they have gone in the dumps. They need to either close this location for a week and fix all the things that need fixed and clean the place or just keep it closed. Sad it used to be a nice place 5 or 6 years ago. I'll be canceling and finding another gym. Stay away

Mgt isn’t attentive to the cleanliness of this location. I’ve emailed them 3 times and get no replies. I’m here now and once again, it seems like a weekly trend- on the weekends, no one keeps this place clean! The trash cans are overflowing with trash and the bathrooms have no toilet paper. You’d think the simple things could be taken care of!

Been a member for 2 yrs - and definitely more lows than highs. Constant issues: machines being broken and "scheduled for repairs" since I've been going, they didn't have hot water for 2 weeks straight, and didn't respond to messages about it, and staff do not maintain the property/spaces adequately for how many people are using the space. Usually disgusting showers that are broken, too. Trade the overly pushy sales bros for some people that actually improve the space, please!

This place I thought was a dream when we started going. For the price and amenities it became our choice over where we were. Over time we realized the place isn't cleaned well. The equipment is dated and the staff could care less to build rapport or do their jobs (sanitize equipment whats that?). There was one maintenance guy who did try but once he left (the only person to clean as best he could) we knew we had to go. I would not have left this review if it weren't for today. We went to cancel our membership and walking in a man in a wheel chair was literally shoveling himself a path to the door as the staff up front just watched. he visibly struggled to hold his chair while pushing the shovel with his other hand. It was heartbreaking. My husband helped him finish shoveling the path and he was very thankful but the fact that they don't even keep the grounds up for situations like that is sad. We had no issues canceling and we are happily moving on.

This company is completely ignorant to those with special needs. They have handicap parking, but don't bother to clear snow/ice off their sidewalks in the front of the gym or any of the parking lot. This isn't just a courtesy, it is the law. I brought this to the attention of the front desk, but no one moved. This job calls for a shovel, but that would also require someone inside to put down their phone and somewhat exert themselves, so this is probably out of the question.. I guess some don't learn until they get sued...That seems to solve ignorance very quickly. So, I, in a WHEELCHAIR shoveled a path for myself.

This is the one of the worst fitness i had experience mans bath room and dressing room smells weds and drugs every time and worst thing we have to wait long time to get chance to use every equipment. And all the mans bath room rash cans are full all the time.
