There’s only a couple places I’ve been to to work out at.
This gym stood out to me for so many reasons.
Besides having such an amazing trainer that wants to make a difference, there’s a personal level that I was able to connect to where it didn’t seem like I was just another person wanting to work out.
I have never felt more active and energized since 4 years ago; Matt has brought that part of me that I missed dearly and so desperately wanted to bring back.
I am now going at a strong pace where I don’t feel tired midday or wanting to just lie around on the couch. I feel more confident in lifting and am proud that I can carry that legacy onto my future workouts.

Joining Legacy Gym has been the best decision I’ve made for my fitness journey. The team is incredibly friendly, which makes me genuinely excited to work out. Update 17 months later…October 2024! Since my original review I wanted to share that I’m still going strong! I’ve completed 210 workouts! I enjoy every workout and appreciate the continued support of the coaches! I continue to be amazed at what I’m capable of. Joining Legacy Gym 💯
June 2023: Four weeks ago I joined the Legacy Gym Family! As a woman in her mid-fifties with a sedentary job and very little exercise, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I have been blown away by the experience at the gym and the owner Matt! The location is convenient, the gym is clean, the trainers are very professional, and the atmosphere is very positive. Working 1-1 with a trainer focused on not only workouts, but nutrition, expectations, and setting short-term goals are making an impact and I am already seeing results! I look forward to my workouts. In fact, I celebrated my birthday at the gym recently with a workout! Looking forward to my personal year of change at Legacy Gym!

I started Legacy back in beginning of February on a 6week challenge with not many expectations. I told Matt my overall goal, he set me up on a nutrition and training plan, now here we are 9 months later still going at it. I have lost 35lbs since then and am looking and feeling the best i ever have in my life. The journey is a lot easier from all the activities inside and outside of the gym that Matt includes to keep things fun and engaging. I’m closing in on a year of being a member at legacy gym. It’s been one of the best investments I’ve ever made for my personal health. I was an athlete in college, but since then I’ve failed to maintain the same sort of fitness levels without a structure around me. I made the move to join a program like Matt and Tommy’s. They set up a program where, as long as you’re committed and show up, you can’t fail to get results. I’ve even broken some strength plateaus that I wasn’t able to achieve even in college. I couldn’t recommend it more for anyone looking for a change in their life along the lines of fitness and taking care of your health.

I’ve been a member of Legacy Gym since April, it has been a great experience. Traditional gyms can feel really intimidating especially if you are newer to a fitness routine or coming back to it after being out for a while. The program at Legacy takes the guesswork out of the process; they offer a comprehensive program including fitness and nutrition as well as helping tackle what may be holding you back. Everyone I have met is awesome and so encouraging of one another, all three coaches are fun and challenge you in a way that is unique to each person. Members are at all different fitness levels which is great because it feels like there is no comparison - everyone is on their own journey. Outside of the regular program the team at Legacy really tries to make it fun with challenges, boot camps, holiday events, etc. I am so glad I found Legacy and would highly recommend to anyone. If you are interested in starting a fitness journey or even leveling up this is an awesome option!

The staff at Legacy Gym are truly passionate about all things fitness. Their programs, techniques, and knowledge combine with proven results. They strive to foster a judgement free environment where you can meet your goals, get to know some fellow gym members, feel a sense of family/community, and have fun in the process. Tommy and Matt run a great program at Legacy Gym! Years of tried and tired fad diets and self misguidance led me to finding something with structure. I started at Legacy in their 6-week transformation program, which I found easy to follow with great coaches watching over me every week. The nutrition guidance is simple to follow and no meticulous calorie counting. By the end of my first 6-weeks I was down 19lbs! I stayed on another 5 months and more and lost 43lbs and feel the best I have ever felt. Not only did I lose weight, but I felt strong and confident in how I looked in the mirror. Tommy is such a great coach in the gym and the duo themselves really value and listen to each one of their members for feedback to improve programs every month. They foster a collaborative space and encourage everyone to champion each other. Oh, and the gym is always spotless, and equipment is in great shape! The plants throughout the building make it feel clean and renewed everyday!

Legacy Gym has been amazing!! In terms of fitness I was always consistent with my workouts but got stuck in terms of growth and struggled to have a good meal plan after graduating college. After working with Legacy Gym Coach Matt and Coach Tommy have not only gave me an easy to follow meal plan but also have helped me increase my strength in every exercise I do! I am a 25 year old guy who has been lifting casually between high school/college sports and with friends for close to 7 years now and while I got a little stronger I never really saw any progress. I have always struggled with being quite skinny and have tried several times to bulk up but ended up losing weight in those attempts. I did the 6 week transformation program with Legacy Gym and they have pushed me further than I thought I could go and really helped me get my nutrition in check. In those 6 weeks I gained 11 pounds of lean muscle and my strength skyrocketed. I have now been with them for a little over three months and am up 18 pounds and continuing to grow! They are good people and really know their stuff. They know how to push me really hard while at the same time they have really stressed form, safety, and consistency and have helped me blow my goals out of the water. The gym community is wonderful and everyone helps push each other and hold each other accountable. I am so grateful to them and am excited to continue working with them!

After a very inactive winter, I was looking for a trainer-led gym program to help kickstart my fitness goals leading into a rugby season. I, like many, stumbled across Legacy Gym's 6-week transformation challenge. Matt and Tommy have a very structured, disciplined program that works greatly if you put in the effort. What makes giving effort easy is having these two guys supporting you and giving just as much effort to get you where you want to be. I started back in October at 217. Right off the bat I told Matt that I was already active but wasn't getting the results that I wanted. He kept it a buck and told me that I don't need a trainer I just need someone to hold me accountable and make sure I'm consistent. He didn't try to sale me or push a product, he was just transparent about what I needed and that's why I joined.
Since I became a member I've felt nothing but support from Matt and Tommy. Even when I fall short they are there to hold me accountable with positive reinforcement. We also have a community within each other as members. Each person there knows they are just trying to be better than they were the day before and we all push each other to reach that whenever we work out together. In a month and a half I went from 217llbs to 201. It wasn't easy and adjusting my diet was difficult but I hit the goal. The holidays happened and I gained some weight back. Now that that's over I'm ready to get back at it and go even harder with my gym family!

I just finished my 6 week program and I feel invigorated and empowered!! I have HS and it has helped with it!! It has kept my inflammation down, and my energy up! Legacy Fitness is a great gym! The trainers Tommy and Matt are super dedicated to their clients and really take the time to work with you on form and technique to make sure you’re safe and working out effectively. I think one of the factors that I enjoy the most about them is their ability to remember how sets went during previous sessions and how adjustments can be utilized to get more out of your workout. They’re also really good about encouraging and pushing you to your potential. The gym facility itself is nice, clean, and well kept. I’d definitely recommend this gym for anyone who’s at a beginner or intermediate level.

I have been working out with Matt for a year now. At first, I resisted paying someone to make me work out. Matt being my first trainer, I had a great experience. He Kept a positive environment with excellent playlists and occasional corny dad jokes; my workout session was motivating. Matt explains each targeted part (whole body) with how to execute each workout for six weeks. I had gained so much strength/ endurance each six weeks session. He was open to being flexible with days if missed. He ensured you got your three days in, whether in the gym or at home. He wants to ensure this is a lifestyle, not a seasonal thing . I have been working out with Matt for almost 1.5 years now. Starting back at the gym at 56 years old was a challenge Matt was perfect for. He really watches your form to make sure it is correct, and offers great tips for achieving such based on what you are doing wrong. And with correct form, I have been able to make gains in weight lifted. As an example, I was able to increase my deadlift 50% in 5 weeks to a number I had earlier told Matt was not achievable. Matt is extremely knowledgeable and offers adjustments or alternative workouts when the occasional ache or pain sets in, which has allowed me to keep a consistent schedule. He has offered advice on equipment and supplements specific to my needs. Matt is not an ‘in your face’ trainer (look elsewhere if that is what you need), but he certainly still pushes you to gains. “Let’s try x”, “I think you have y in you”, or “Add z pounds, that last one looked way too easy” are Mattisms stuck in my head. Matt works with a variety of clients, which I think is possible due to how knowledgeable he is. Definitely give him a try.

Love working with Matt! I knew all the things I should be doing to get the body I wanted but needed someone that could provide structure, push me, and make sure I was doing correct form in lifts. Ever since I have started with Matt I have made so much progress in a relatively short amount of time and my body looks better than it ever has before. I would recommend Matt to anyone at any level of fitness. No nonsense HIIT or weird unnecessary lifts that many trainers try to do. Pushing hard in the fundamentals and making lots of gains
