Played 18 on SAT., OCT 11, 2025, what a joke. AVOID!!!
Paid $58 to play on punched Chinese Checker board greens, crabgrass infested tee boxes. Slow play with no rangers, rodeo golf.

If youβre longing for the rich, comforting flavors of Hyderabad while living miles away from home, Majestic Restaurant at Devon and Clark is nothing short of a blessing. From the moment you step in, the aroma of slow-cooked biryani, fresh spices, and sizzling kebabs instantly transports you back to the bustling streets and warm kitchens of Hyderabad.
The biryani here isnβt just food β itβs an emotion. Every grain of rice is infused with fragrant spices, the meat is melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the balance of flavors is exactly how it would taste back home. The haleem, kebabs, and curries carry the same authenticity, reminding you that true Hyderabadi cooking is an art form.
What makes Majestic special isnβt just the food, but the feeling. Itβs that warm, familiar taste that makes you close your eyes and smile because for a moment, you forget youβre thousands of miles away. For anyone searching for genuine Hyderabadi cuisine in Chicago, this place is truly a taste of home away from home.
A must-visit for every Hyderabadi heart and every foodie soul.

Had the first tee time of the morning, groups off of 1 and 10 (no mention of that when making my tee time). My group was sent off 10, horrible back up when we made the turn to 1. Itβs like it was a surprise that we were there. Sent us off 1 as quick as they could. Huge back up on 2. Five groups waiting. Too many people booked to play this morning.
The course is nice, fun and in pretty good shape. They invest in making the course better. But I wonβt be back any time soon.

Our group did the stay-n-play package Jun 5th-8th. Trevor and his staff were very responsive and professional. The course was in great shape. Bunkers were also. It rained every night and no water collected in the bunkers. Weather the week before did some damage to the exterior sleeping quarters. Trevor made some adjustments on the fly. It worked out great. It was an awesome place to stay.
Overall, our group plays all over the area(KY, IN, OH). This is in the Top 5 for sure. Definitely, coming back for the S&P.
Beware of Hole 2. That can dig a hole on your scorecard. That can bury your whole round.

If you're looking for a typical public golf course to play, this is a course that'll challenge any golfer's skills. Forget about finding too much golfing etiquette here (lol)! However, it's a decently maintained beautiful scenic one, except I ran across ONLY two or three ball washers at the tee boxes. Also, forget about drinking
water. There's NO water jugs that I saw out on the course. FYI - bring your own! The pro shop staff's friendly and accommodating enough. However, what I didn't understand was that there's only an $8.00 difference to walk vs. a riding cart? The only two push/pull hand carts that they had were disastrous. No card holders, no drink holders and the golf bags can't fasten anywhere really to these. I had finally opted to ride (a better value). The course played around at least 4 hrs. +. Normal for public play. There's a nicer sitting are area outside, where you can get snacks, a hot dog or a brat and a beer or so. I'd recommend trying the course though. It's more like a party atmosphere of golfing.

A lot of bad spots all over the course, they like sending groups of 5 and 6 people out together. My young daughter loves to go ride with me when I'm golfing and this is the only course in this area that decided they wanted to charge me a $10 spectator fee for her. Luckily this will be my last time ever and the others I usually golf with at this place. Such a terrible place and the owners should be ashamed!

I really wish I could give more, the course is beautiful but condition and pace of play makes it a frustrating round. Yesterday was my second round here, and we were so held up it took over 6 hours. The greens were also in horrible condition, my partner injured his hand when he picked up a rake before realizing the fiberglass handle was broken, and our cart was in horrible shape. Iβd love to come back but like this, itβs not an enjoyable day.

I wish I could do half stars because it would be 4.5. The course is nice, a little rough in places, but it doesn't bother me. I like the fact that some of the area has plenty of pollinator/wildflowers.
Update: After the last 3 rounds, I have to lower the rating. Tee times have been backed up to 20 minutes. Pace of play is SLOWW. It took us over 5 hours to play a round due to the back ups. They need to space out their tee times, give longer buffer between "outings" and open golf or enforce pace of play.

Bullshit you schedule a tee time for 4 people for $40 a person and have a confirmation email just to arrive and have them say that was error on their part it is really $52 a person.. the error was on your part why am I penalized for that... $52 isnt a bad price for the course because it's one of my favorite to attend but again I had a confirmation email saying $40 a person how can you morally charge me $52 a person... Greed and not putting the customer first that's how.... I even showed them my confirmation email and they did not care see picture below

Itβs a fun course to play - well laid out and challenging enough - and is in decent enough shape for the cost, but the pace of play is atrocious. If you get through 18 in under 5.25 hours Iβd buy a lottery ticket that day because youβre lucky. After 3 straight 5+ hour rounds Iβm gonna take this one off the list

The golf course itself is good. Nice layout, good scenery, some challenging holes. The reason the review is so low is the customer service, the wait times on every hole, and the general lack of urgency on the part of the staff to do anything but their jobs. The customer service is awful there, and thatβs the main reason I wonβt ever be back. Also, the greens werenβt very well kept up.
Hot tip Majestic Springs- donβt advertise you have sandwiches and certain things on the menu and then tell the customer you donβt. I get the sense this is a good old boys club who βlike things done their wayβ. Dumb. Also, get a ranger out there. A 5+ hour round is never a good thing.

I've been to majestic springs several times over the years. This was my last time ever. How it has a 4.4 rating is beyond me. The course has some interesting holes and some nice landscaping and possibly the worst groundskeeping of any course I've ever played, and I played a lot of them. I didn't want to go but my buddies were all going and I thought I'd give it another chance maybe I won't have to fix 15 ball marks on a 10-foot putt like I've had to do all the other times. Unfortunately it was the same old majestic springs and it top it off the cart we had wandered all over the place it was like herding cats trying to drive it and it had a belt squealing so bad to where you at a stop on the accelerator three or four times to get the thing to take off. Ridiculous. The people that own this course know better and they should be ashamed of this corse's condition.

I would love to play this course more. Scenery, layout & value are outstanding. You would also think that with an affiliation to the SW Golf Ranch it would have great customer service. Sadly, it does not. Condition is decent in some places and awful in others. Carts are tired and abused. Now the customer service: Poor. Poor traffic management on crossover times, thin skin when asked appropriate questions and bad information frequently. Zero attention to detail and this is after 4 attempts at different times to play. Every round featured the same scenario. Will not be back or recommend

Beautiful course, friendly staff, and best of all great rates...one star however, as a warning, you will witness people fighting, and you should be prepared to defend yourself. If you hit a wayward shot into a group that decided to hang around the cart path by the green instead of heading to the next hole, yelling fore is pointless, becuase its fight time here at majestic. They will hit your ball into the closest body of water, yell explicits, and wait for you to show up. If you hold up the group behind you, even if youre right on top of the group in front of you, its fight time here at majestic. I also understand that this may actually be appealing to some, no judgement.

Course was objectively very nice with some beautiful shots, knocked off a star each because a) the pro shop attendant seemed very disinterested and acted like he didnβt want you there and b) cart paths (aka pebbles for a lot of the course) especially on the back 9 are very hidden at points with no indication as to where to go and carts will lock on you like 100 yards out at some points

The course is great. Iβd rate it higher if they had rangers or βcaredβ about the pace of play. I understand itβs tough as a solo but when a 4-some takes your tee time & then doesnβt allow you to play through for 17 holes - thatβs absolutely RIDICULOUS.

I played the course today and cannot figure out how it is rated as top 10 course in OH. Very poorly groomed, they had not trimmed around rocks markers pathways in weeks. Never will be back, greens fees were cheap but not worth it.

Picked one of the hottest days of the year to play this tract. Still worth the trip to see and compete...Great place to get a bite to eat at the turn or afterwards. Would've been a 5 star if they had water to drink out on the course. With this heat I'd think it could be a liability to refuse to have hydration available for the players. Other great courses do. We had a scheduled tee time. Due to slow play and lack of rangers, it took 1 hour and 20 minutes to play 3 holes of our 18 scheduled. After calling the clubhouse with slow play concerns, a ranger finally came to the tee box of hole 4. Instead of addressing the concern of the foursome causing 3 group backlog, he said we should pair with single behind us as though it was our fault. We instead requested a refund to which they offered a raincheck. If they had handled the actual concern, we would not have felt it necessary to leave the course short of playing our 18 holes. We will not be returning.

I love the course itself. Lots of variety in the holes with plenty to think about as you look at each shot.
However, twice this season I've showed up to play with my group only to find out the course has double booked the tee times. How, I'm not sure, but both times we've had multiple groups of players waiting on the first tee with the same tee time. Since I have to drive 45+ minutes to get there, having this hassle and stress before a round starts is unacceptable.

This is our home course. But it's more than a golf course, it's a family. It came from some woods and farmland on a budget and remains cost friendly. The layout is great at only 6400 yards with plenty of risk-reward. I do understand comments about greens not always being great. The players have to take care of them as much as the staff. When you fix your approach divot, fix another one. If you aren't at that stage in your game, fix one approach divot in preparation of when your game progresses.

I am new to golf and just a rider, for now. This is my first year, while my husband is an avid golfer and has played since high school. (My disclosure)
I have had the pleasure of joining my husband and his foursome this year. Every weekend and a few nights through the week, he plays and I ride(and take lots of pictures). It has been a blast and I can't wait to play.
I would place this course in my top 5 favorites. (Amongst the ranks of Beavercreek Golf Club, Yankee, and Homestead). The overall layout is beautiful and views everywhere. Staff seems very nice. The landscaping is well done and I enjoyed the use of antique farm equipment throughout. I thought the sand traps were cleverly created as well. Greens are in great shape; even at the end of August, still green!!

First, it's one of my favorite courses in the area, nice layout, good condition, reasonable prices, but...OMG. Last weekend I could only play nine holes because the play was slower than anywhere I've played in my entire life. It took 3 hours and 5 minutes to play 9 holes. At least three holes we had to wait because there were four foursomes waiting to tee off. I'm not kidding. There was never a hole where there weren't at least two foursomes waiting. And the course has no Rangers to speed up play. That's absurd. It makes me never want to play golf again when you're waiting that long on every single hole.

Majestic Springs is in the top 10 of Ohioβs public golf courses. The course was in great shape today, even with a morning rain.

Was somewhat disappointed today. Had an afternoon tee time we tried to move up because of the heavy rain coming thru, was told there werenβt openings but the course wasnβt busy. (Driving in nobody was on 6 or 7).Had a great experience in April at the course so we wanted to make the hour drive back, but today we arrived an hour before the round to hit range balls. We were told there werenβt any available. The practice putting green had one hole with dead grass around it. We wanted to do the right thing and wait till our tee time. So we putt until minutes before our time. Headed to the tee box and a 4 some who was running 9 minutes late now jumped in front of us rudely. (No starter) They played slow and never let our two some play thru. We never saw a ranger. The course itself had many divots in the fairways and a ton of pitch marks on the greens. When it rained we were stuck out by #14 and didnβt see a storm shelter so we got soaked. We loved the lay out of the course, where the sand traps were located, and how it had several options to tee off from. Overall we didnβt enjoy our experience for the many reasons listed above. βΉοΈ

Love this course been playing it for the last five or six years and they have truly come a long way with their course, we played there yesterday had a great time course with beautiful but no ball washers on the course and no jugs of water out there either yet their price still went up I am so over this covered 19 BS can't take too much more of it Majestic springs is a great course try you'll like it!!!!!!π

It was good course, good food too. My one complaint is there was a group of 5 in front of us. I've not seen a group of 5 before, seemed odd.

Course in very good condition. Slow play though. Maybe need to spread out the tee times a bit.

Almost gave this a one star so people overlook this place. 7am tee time, foursome got done in 3 hours 10 minutes.
Course is beautiful, greens are fantastic. Poured this entire week, and even with the morning dew the greens were rolling fast. Just make sure you strap down that bag in the cart and don't have loose headcovers because the "cart path" is rough. All they are missing is a set of tees in between the blacks and greens.
40 minute drive out, but I will definitely be back. 10/10 highly recommend. Let's try keeping it a secret for the locals π.

Nice layout. Good value. Greens and fairways were in good shape. BUT, over 3 1/2 hrs to play 12 holes, on pace for a 5:20 round. It seemed like we had a 5 minute or more wait before each drive and fairway shot. And this was just a normal Friday morning. We left after 12 holes.
