Marietta Dance Academy is more than just a dance studio; it's a family. My daughters have attended several different studios over the years, and MDA stands out above the rest. I was so fortunate to call them first – they were the only studio I contacted that held their recital in May, which was a huge plus for our family.
My daughter has been on their competition team for 11 seasons, and it's truly her life. Last year, during the competition season, she faced a serious health challenge, requiring an emergency craniotomy for a brain tumor. The outpouring of love and support she received from her teachers, fellow dancers, and their families was absolutely incredible. It was an experience that showed me just how much this studio cares about its students. Even when she was unable to dance in the recital due to her health, they still found a way to include her and celebrate her talents by having her sing. This meant the world to her and our family.

My daughter loves dancing at MDA. I’ve watched her confidence grow so much in the last couple of years. MDA is like a second home for their dancers. Filled with amazing mentors to learn from.
All of the adult and teen instructors are so patient, inclusive, and helpful with the minis/younger dancers. It’s heartwarming to see as a parent.
The dance company runs like a well oiled machine. Communication is amazing and effortless between staff and parents. You can count on your kids being in numbers and costumes that are flattering and age appropriate. The studio itself is always clean and organized.

Marietta Dance Academy is such an amazing place. We have been blessed to be a part of the studio for over 12 years! Our three daughters have blossomed before our eyes into beautiful dancers and people inside and out thanks to the guidance and love from the staff at MDA. They have gained confidence and learned so much about hard work and dedication. They have also made life long friendships. Luckily our youngest is still only in third grade, so we have many years ahead of us at the studio to look forward to. Our small town of Marietta is lucky to have a place with such big hearted and knowledgeable instructors. In summary, we absolutely love Marietta Dance Academy!

Great program! Good variety with ballet, tap and tumbling. Very organized. The instructor has good rapport with the students and yet is firm. They're very flexible with leotards as well. They've installed commercial air cleaners too! Big commitment to sanitization.

I am so glad we chose to come Marietta Dance Academy. Jill and her staff not only teach great dance technique, but help the kids grow into good and kind human beings. She teaches grace, strength, responsibility, and kindness, and shows the kids how to support one another by supporting them. I cannot think of a better place for my daughter to spend her time each week and I am thankful that we are a part of this group of wonderful people.

We moved to Marietta from Baltimore, MD in 2024 and knew absolutely no one in this quaint little town. We had two little girls that loved to dance around the house and we figured it would be a great way to meet some new friends! We enrolled them at MDA and have so loved seeing their journey in dance!
Fast forward six years and they are absolutely flourishing because of the confidence, friendships and wonderful role models they have at MDA. We couldn’t have made a better decision for them and we look forward to many more years with this wonderful studio!

My daughter is going into her 4th year at Marietta Dance Academy and we couldn’t be happier. She has gained grace, poise, and positivity. I appreciate Jill’s taste in appropriate dance and costuming for my daughter.

Jill has been very hands on with students and teaches them more than just steps, she teaches them team work, responsibility, and respect.

Marietta Dance Academy has been a wonderful environment for my daughter to grow in. Staff is incredible and so caring. Through the pandemic this year it was nice to have some normalcy with dance friends, even if Zoom was our only option.

Although my daughter has moved away from dance, I would not trade her 9 years with the Academy for anything! It taught her poise, grace, proper social etiquette, and reinforced the values we teach her at home. In addition, and increased her flexibility, strength, and coordination. These strengths have benefited her greatly as she's moved on to new athletic endeavors.

I came to Marietta Dance Academy when I moved to Ohio. Jill opened her doors to me and allowed me to join the MDA family. The staff and other dancers welcomed me with open arms and I have made lifelong connections. I have known Jill since I was 4 years old. I watched her learn to dance and become one of the best dancers and choreographers and she is an amazingly professional dance studio owner. I have two daughters who have danced at MDA for 6 years! They also are on the competition team! We were immediately welcomed by everyone on staff and by our fellow dance families. Over the years, my daughters have gained many friends who I believe will be lifelong friends, they have learned discipline, respect and gained a tremendous amount of self confidence in addition to learning what it means to be a teammate and they have fun. Our experiences there were always positive. As a mother you see and learn a lot by being around the "dance biz" for that many years.
