Are you looking for an affordable and welcoming introduction to yoga? Look no further than Mat Happy Yoga! As a newcomer to the practice, I recently purchased their intro class pass, which offers two weeks of unlimited classes for just $25. What a bargain!
The studioβs simplicity immediately stood out to me. The minimalist design helps keep costs down, but it doesnβt skimp on the essentials (bolsters, blankets, blocks, straps, etc). The space is impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing a calm and inviting atmosphere for practice. The staff is friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist and make you feel at ease.
What I love most about is the variety of classes they offer. From Power Yoga to Deep Stretch to Restorative Mindfulness, there's something for everyone. Iβm particularly excited to try their Yoga/Pilates Fusion class, which promises a unique blend of strength and flexibility training.
Overall, my experience at Mat Happy Yoga has been positive, and I recommend it to anyone looking to begin to continue their yoga practice. Namaste!

Mat Happy is my happy place. As a newbie to Yoga, I started with the beginners series and just never stopped attending classes. I attend 5 -6 classes per week. The atmosphere is friendly, welcoming, and non-competitive. The teachers are amazing and genuinely interested in helping you grow your yoga practice. I'm sometimes amazed how much I've grown physically, mentally, and spiritually in the 18 months I've been practicing yoga and it's all thanks to Mat Happy. You will LOVE it here.

I used to practice yoga several times weekly both in the gym and at home for years, but due to a number of circumstances my practice went to the wayside for over a decade. Iβve wanted to get back into it for years and it was never the right time, but after a health scare in January of this year I decided I had to make it the right time.
After doing research to find a studio that offered the kinds of classes I was looking for at times that would be available for me to attend with the right ~vibes, I decided to give Mat Happy a try. I am so glad I did. Everyone is so friendly and Iβve now tried a variety of classes and instructors and Iβve loved every one. The instructors are always so personable, happy to help, and seem genuinely interested in getting to know everyone who attends their classes. In the past I had run into instances where I didnβt know where to go or how to adapt poses or how each studio runs things, but they have things clearly laid out on their website and as soon as the instructors know youβre new to the studio or class, they help give instructions as well so you arenβt just guessing.
From start to finish Iβve felt comfortable here and I always walk away feeling better than I did when I walked in, which is the ultimate goal. I love Mat Happy and am so happy they are a fundamental part of my yoga routine now.

I love this place. I have taken classes from many instructors and I have to say, I like all of them.
I don't look like the typical yogi and I feel accepted and welcomed there, which I really appreciate.
Yoga has gone from something I've always wanted to do, to a non-negotiable in my schedule.

I joined the Mat Happy community a little over six months ago and it was one of the best steps I have taken for my personal health and well being! There is a class for every skill set and the instructors encourage you with kindness and compassion on each step of your yoga journey. Special shout out to Courtney and Tiffany who have guided me through the first six months of my practice!

I joined Mat Happy unsure and nervous what it would be like to practice in a studio. Boy, were those nerves put to ease fast! The teachers and studio community are welcoming to all yogis, beginner to experienced. I have been a member for over a year now, and am continually growing my practice & meeting awesome new people in the process.
Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this studio and all of the different classes that they offer but the very best asset this studio offers is its teachers! Seriously these women (and itβs women owned) made me feel so comfortable and welcome from day one. Itβs a great community atmosphere that is welcoming and fun. Highly recommend to beginners (like I was) because they make it so you want to come back and work on your practice. Cannot say enough great things about this studio :)

I did the 30 day trial and after the first class, I knew I was going to sign up, and I did. I have never gone to a yoga studio before, and this one is amazing. I have done almost every type of class, and love them all...from deep stretch, yoga/pilates, yoga sculpt, chakras flow...there is something for everyone! I am only in my third week, and am noticing changes in my strength and flexibility. Kelly and Rhi have something really special here!!!

I joined back in August and I tried a few classes to see which ones I liked best. And I find out that I loved Kellyβs yoga sculpt on Thursday nights. The different variety of moves and the cooling towel at the end of class is perfect. She really wants you to let go from the crazy day so that is great and you get a good workout in. The studio is so personable and friendly too. Love it here! β€οΈβ€οΈ

Iβve been going to Mat Happy Yoga for years now, and I love everything about the studio. The instructors are great, the options for classes is extensive, and when you walk in the door it feels like you can finally take a deep breath from your day and focus inward. Iβve been to other yoga studios that make yoga seem competitive and all about acrobatics. This studio isnβt like that, this studio focuses on what yoga as a whole is really about. And they've been that way from day one. Mat Happy is truly yoga.

The classes are always different, and with the variety of classes available, you're bound to find something that fits your unique goals for your practice!

I have been taking class at Mat Happy on and off since 2015, and I also received teacher training there. This studio helped me realize that every body can do yoga. Yoga isn't just posture. The teachers are patient, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The classes are varied from Power to Restorative. There is truly something for everyone. The sisters also gice back to the community in multiple ways and are dedicated to making yoga accessible

I have fallen in love with Mat Happy Yoga! I joined with an unlimited class pass and it's taken me a little longer than I'd like to admit to work the classes into my schedule and to build up the courage to challenge myself with the variety of classes they offer. I'm so glad that I finally did! The instructors are so welcoming and encouraging - they offer modifiers for beginners and help you learn the different versions of poses. Most classes are fun and challenging and then they offer some classes that are relaxing and meditative. Something for everyone! If you're looking for a new studio or want to give yoga a try for the first time, pay a visit to Mat Happy!

Absolutely love this studio. I drive 20 minutes to come here, despite there being over a dozen studios closer to my house. The environment here is very inclusive and genuine. The instructors are talented, kind, and helpful. The space is also beautiful and well laid out. I always leave feeling centered and reinvigorated to tackle my day! I recommend the studio to all my friends.

The universe led me to Mat Happy in 2015 after spotting their ad in a local publication while sitting in a waiting room. I was looking for relief, suffering from fibromyalgia. I started with Mat Happy's unlimited monthly pass to try out different classes and to see if I would fit in. Next, I bought a 20 class pass and then I officially joined as a member in the summer of 2015. Now I am fully committed to a regular Yoga practice. I no longer suffer from fibromyalgia and my doctor took me off blood pressure medicine. I attend an average of 5-6 classes per week and my husband joins me for two of the deep stretch classes. I am 61 and my husband is 73. We plan to continue Yoga for the rest of our lives. Yoga keeps us healthy and conditioned for other activities we enjoy, such as running (Dave), spinning and cross-country skiing (Debbie) and hiking (Dave and Debbie). Gotta keep moving!

I've been coming to Mat Happy for almost two years. In that time frame the classes have been consistent and reliable. I really enjoy all of the instructors because each one has a unique style and expertise that they incorporate into their classes. Mat Happy has a class for everyone. When I started, I was pretty darn new to yoga, and I felt just as 'able' to do all the classes as I do today. It has been awesome to see the progress that I have made on and off my mat. Rhiannon and Kelly are awesome sister co-owners. Both are supportive and kind. They have hired an amazing line-up of instructors - some who are really great at pushing you outside of your comfort zone (e.g., Jenny, Rhiannon, and Brittany) while others are great at meeting you where you're at (e.g., Kelly, Kitty, and Claudia). While maintaining accessibility for students who identify with Western cultural values, Mat Happy has this lovely ability to also encapsulate Eastern cultural values, staying true to yoga's roots. No matter what draws you to yoga in the first place, Mat Happy can meet you where you are and guide your journey through the 8 limbs of yoga.

I love this studio! It has a very relaxed feel, and some great instructors. They keep the room warm, but not too hot. The instructors are kind and helpful. They have a beginner's course available which I'd highly recommend as opposed to just jumping in to a random class if you are new or somewhat new to yoga. Not that the classes are difficult, but it is helpful that you to know the basic moves and flow without feeling like the class is going too fast for you to catch up. They also describe their class styles online in order of difficulty which was a huge help when I first visited the studio. They also encourage adjusting your pose to whatever your body needs using blocks, blankets etc to help prevent injury. Its not a competitive zone, and every person kind of practices at their own pace. Mat Happy Yoga has a very inclusive atmosphere. My favorite instructors--Claudia and Kitty--have some awesome meditation practices at the beginning and end of their practice that really make these yoga sessions special and relaxing. All of the instructors are highly trained, very knowledgeable, and super approachable. They really know their stuff and have some great advice! The studio is clean, beautifully decorated and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend Mat Happy Yoga to anyone looking for a yoga studio.

As a middle-aged male, I don't exactly fit the image of a yoga enthusiast. My wife and I attended an open house at Mat Happy last December. We have since taken the "Beginners Series" twice and have tried a variety of styles of yoga. Mat Happy is the perfect place for us to learn. Kelly and Rhiannon are always welcoming and the instructors are helpful and encouraging. I feel very comfortable as a beginner practicing next to people with much more yoga experience. I highly recommend Mat Happy.

I am new to yoga and a friend recommended this studio. I absolutely love it! The instructors and the owners are very kind and friendly, The studio itself is warm, inviting, and offers a great calming palate for a stress free class. I have tried almost all the classes they offer and really enjoy the Power Yoga. It is challenging and a little more high intensity. I am a mother of 2 and it has been a great outlet to relax, focus on myself for once, and bring back a little balance into my life while getting in shape. They have a wide range of times which seem to work well with everyones schedule. I enjoy the 7:30 (evening) classes because they are candle lit, warm and dark, and really allow me to relax and focus on my yoga, I highly recommend Mat Happy Yoga!!!
