I am 66 years old and have been a private client (along with my husband) of Robinβs for about a year and a half. I have been doing Pilates for decades, but since I have been working with Robin I am now stronger and my balance and posture have improved. Robin is super knowledgeable in Pilates theory and practice and provides interesting and increasingly challenging classes. She is motivating and very funny. I love our sessions!
Robin also has expertise in supporting βactive agingβ for those of us who are older. For example, she weaves in exercises that improve bone health, balance and flexibility.
I have lots of experience practicing Pilates at studios and fitness centers in the Cleveland area. The welcoming and highly professional culture that Robin has created at Mindful Motion makes this studio exceptional.

Joined in July of 2024. Best decision ever!! Small class size makes it a great community. Online scheduling makes planning your exercise time easy. Instructors take pride in teaching proper form and offering alternatives if you have physical limitations. Itβs great by itself or in addition to any yoga or weight training you are already doing.

There must be something wrong with that app or people are canceling less then 12 hrs before their scheduled class. I have been on the waitlist 3 or 4 times for Sunday morning and have removed myself 11.5 hrs before the class and then I find out there are empty spots in the class. I can usually only make weekend classes and if I continually get closed out of Sunday classes I will have sessions that will expire unused.
Other than that I love the place and the instructors.

I wanted to get back into exercising and was planning to go back to the gym for weight training like I had done in the past. Now that I'm older I thought something less strenuous on the joints would be a good idea. Plus, I've been having lower back issues and I also wanted to work on my flexibility and balance in addition to strength training. So I decided to give Pilates a try at Mindful Motion Pilates.
I couldn't be happier with my decision. I've been doing private sessions with Robin for about a year now. My strength, balance and flexibility have all improved. Best of all my lower back issues have improved dramatically. There are so many different exercises that can be done on a reformer that the sessions are never boring and the time goes by so fast. I actually look forward to going. I'm tired afterward but at the same time my body feels refreshed.
Robin offers encouragement but still makes sure that I'm using proper technique so I get the most out of the session. I have not taken a group class but I have seen the end of a few. The participants are at different levels and they were all engaged and
enjoying the class. The equipment is top notch and the studio is extremely clean. I highly recommend Mindful Motion Pilates.

Awesome vibes and a great workout! Instructors meet you where you are, and are welcoming and personable. The classes are fun and plenty to choose from. Pilates is way more fun than the gym and you will get strong from it. Try the unlimited so you can find the instructors whose style resonate with you, and what fits your schedule best. This is a really wonderful studio and weβre lucky to have this gem in the neighborhood!

I have been going to the studio for a few years. The instructors are fantastic and the class times fit my busy schedule. Not only have I lost inches all over, but my back pain is gone! I highly recommend this studio!!

I have attended 2 intro sessions with different instructors and just completed my first full class with a third instructor. Very happy with the studio and everyone I have met so far. I highly reccommend. Very welcoming and each instructor has their own spin on different exercises. Thumbs up from me. I plan to attend classes regularly here π

This is week 3 of Pilates and I am absolutely in love. If you are thinking of trying it out, this is the studio to try. Instructors are so calming with the process but will give you an amazing workout during class.
