In the past, Mike has struggled with self esteem and confidence. However, improving his physique, fitness, and overall health made such a big impact on his life; It inspired him to help others achieve their goals! He attained his fitness trainer certification in 2016 through the ISSA. He then competed in his first bodybuilding show in 2017, and earned top honors in the classic physique division. Following that, Mike graduated college in 2018 from North Central State College with an associates degree in applied science and is a licensed physical therapist assistant. He is a firm believer in leading by example, and regardless what your fitness goals may be, Mike is sure to lead you down the path to success.

Ive gone to the gym for years, but honestly never had real consistency or a solid understanding of what I should be doing. Working with Mike completely changed that. Knowing he went to school with my husband instantly made me feel more comfortable and reassured that I was in good hands. Mike is incredibly supportive, patient, and uplifting every time I walk into the gym. His strong faith shines through in the way he encourages and motivates others. I started working with Mike about 6 weeks ago. I wanted to start weight training, but was a little nervous. I’m 63 and I’m very inexperienced in the gym. I've been training with Mike for 10ish weeks. He's taking my joint pain from an old injury very seriously and has modified my workouts accordingly. Mike is upbeat and really fun to work with. I recently had the opportunity to work with a personal trainer, and I can't recommend them enough! From the very first session, they took the time to understand my fitness goals and created a personalized plan that really catered to my needs. Their knowledge of different exercises and techniques was impressive, and they always ensured that I was using proper form to prevent injuries.
What I appreciated most was their motivation and support throughout the process. They pushed me to challenge myself while also being encouraging and positive. The workouts were always varied and engaging, which kept me excited to come back for more. I've seen significant progress in my strength and endurance, and I feel more confident in my abilities.

I'm so glad I have decided to go with Mike to help me reach my personal goals in my weight loss journey! He is so full of life and the kindest person I've met! He's motivates me to keep going! And shows me something new everytime I go. Hes also very gentle when it comes to somethings. As I am a new mother he makes me feel more comfortable with myself as I am not where I was before having a child. He understands some things are a little more difficult to do but still motivates me enough to get thought it. And is very flexible with his scheduling for what benefits my schedule!

I have been training with Mike for just a couple of weeks now, and his dedication and focus on you when you are training is excellent. He is with you every step of the way, motivating you to do one more rep and spotting you when you need it. He answers all my fitness questions and is very flexible with scheduling. I love that he has new exercises and routines that we do, so I don't get bored. It's hard to find a trainer who has competed in Marion, OH, who also "walks the walk" and "talks the talk."

I started lifting with Mike about 3 weeks ago and I’m already down 5 lbs, 2” around my waist and almost an inch around each thigh!! That’s amazing!! It has been very difficult for me to lose weight over the last few years and I’m one of those that always says I need to exercise and diet and I don’t typically follow through, until now! I look forward to going to the gym because my son goes now too and I know Mike will push me to my limit but encourage me the whole way through—if you’re like me and you keep pushing it off, give yourself a gift and just go for it, I promise you’ll feel better and stronger—as an added bonus you’ll be more conscientious of your diet because you don’t want all your hard work to go to waste! ☺️ thank you Mike!!

After knee and shoulder surgeries set me back a few years I just had to get ALL my muscles strengthened. I'm a senior but didn't want to be babied. I began working with Mike and told him I wanted him to push me...and he did...but always in a caring and supportive way. I'm going to be honest, most days I dreaded the thought of going to work out. But, each day as I made it through I felt a little stronger. One day I realized my knee no longer hurt and I was able to carry things I previously couldn't even pick up! We all know we should be doing weight training. If you need someone to help you on your personal training journey, Mike is your guy!

Just got back into the gym after a few years of doing absolutly nothing. My buddy talked me into getting Mike as a PT for 6 weeks to try it out and see if he could help me make some progress. We started week 2 this week and I've got to say hes been an amazing trainer. He gives you the support and motivation you need to get that last rep in every single time. He sets realistic goals for you to reach so you don't feel discouraged and overall, he makes you feel welcome at the gym, which to me is one of the hardest parts of going. If anybody is looking to get into changing their lifestyle for the better and feeling healthier, mikes definitely your guy to go to.

Got in touch with a personal trainer, Mike, here. After discussing my sons medical history and his desire to get himself into shape we set up a membership and schedule. I’ve been training with Mike for less than a month, and even in that short time period (even some time off for being sick), i’m feeling stronger! Very friendly and kind (as previous reviews stated), but definitely pushes you and encourages you. Working out alone if it gets too hard I would normally give up, Mike respect your limitations but also pushes you because he wants you to succeed! I don’t have too much exercise knowledge, and I like that he teaches you while training you, so you better understanding what you’re working out/the benefits! I was intimidated to workout with a trainer but thankfully have had a good experience, and I’m excited to see further results!

Mike is an AMAZING trainer I have only recently been going to him for help with my knee recovery and weight loss. Only good things to say about Mike. He is the most down to earth guy I’ve probably ever met. When you’re training with him, it’s all about YOU and YOUR progress. I look forward to coming to gym working with Mike. I laugh, I lift weights like a beast, and I don't hurt myself. I love to look at myself. Mike is coaching me on my diet. I've never had a trainer do that. He does more than just tell me what to eat. I am learning what to eat, when to eat, how much calories to burn, how much carbs and protein to consume and when. Best dollar I ever spent on myself aside from my education.
