I started with My Body of Change as an absolute beginner. I came from a very sedentary lifestyle, and honestly, I wasn’t sure if I would even be able to stay consistent. But working with Justin completely changed that.

From day one, he made training feel approachable and enjoyable. We began with three sessions a week, and very quickly, those workouts became one of the best parts of my day. I’ve had so much fun while building real discipline — something I never imagined I’d say about fitness.

Justin taught me how to confidently use gym equipment, how to stay focused, and how to push myself safely. He’s incredibly easy to get along with, patient, kind, and full of knowledge. He explains things in a way that makes sense, and he always knows how to adjust the workout to match your level while still challenging you.

What stands out the most is that he genuinely cares. He’s resourceful, encouraging, and pays attention to your progress, your form, and your personal goals. With his help, I’m not only getting stronger physically, but I’ve also built a routine that feels sustainable and empowering.

If you’re thinking about starting — especially as a beginner like I was — Justin is the trainer you want in your corner. I’m so grateful for the change I’ve experienced.

I can't say enough great things about Justin, and My Body of Change. He is more than a trainer--he's someone that cares about my progress just as much as me. He's committed to helping me achieve my goals, and always goes above and beyond. One of the most striking things about training with Justin is seeing the diversity of people that trust him with their health. I've seen high schoolers, professional athletes, corporate professionals, and even people in their 80s/90s. Just doesn't follow a one-size-fits-all approach--everyone is welcome and everyone gets a plan customized to them.

Justin is a phenomenal trainer. He was thorough when asking about my previous injuries that I sustained in college, gave me a thorough assessment, and nutrition/fitness plan to hit my goals. He provides 1-on-1 training and it feels like a family atmosphere; everyone wants to be better and it’s organic having conversations with him and the other people working out too! Don’t be timid or afraid to get into personal training. The experience has been great and I 100% recommend going to Justin with My Body of Change!

Justin is a no nonsense trainer. His gym is a serious gym for serious results. He pulls no punches when it comes to being honest about how to transform your body - hard work and diet is where it is. He challenges you to continue improving each and every time you work out. I selected MBOC because of proximity to work, but have stuck with Justin because of his knowledge in training and health. After working out with Justin for over a year, I convinced my husband to give it a go and you can see a marked difference in his appearance.

Justin Sherman is a great trainer. He has been training me for about 3 years. I am 70 years old and I have muscles that I have never had in my life. He works me hard. But is gentle and caring if I am having any body issues. He has taught me how to deal with pains in ways I can do at home. I would never switch to a different trainer. I highly recommend him!

Well I'm a woman and have No problem with Justin. He has thought me how to eat much better and maintain my body strength .As well as educating me if I'm doing something the wrong way ,he tells me why I need to be doing it the correct way.
