Customer service is so poor, this place is ran by teenagers when the owner isn’t there and they have no idea what the heck they’re doing when it comes to memberships, there’s obviously no staff communication and they charged me for a month of my membership the day after I cancelled it, not only did they not tell me that I would still be charged for the next month if I cancelled, but now I can’t even use my membership for the month that I PAYED FOR!!! Not to mention I have called 10+ times to try and talk to someone and no one answers the phone, I’ve had to drive there twice now to talk to someone who does not know what they’re doing and does not give me any answers

Amazing gym! They have the largest variety of equipment I’ve ever seen including a sled, tires, ropes, skiing machine, Jacob’s ladder and more. Every type of machine, plenty of cardio, and multiple functional training areas. Not crowded at all on Saturday afternoons too.

Just moved to Elyria from Detroit,MI. This gym is the closest thing to the Original Powerhouse Gym in Detroit which is a hardcore gym. Has all the equipment you need and a bunch of extras that i think any serious lifter/ bodybuilder or regular gym goer would want. Love the fact that there is turf in the middle of the gym snd heavy bag. Great place to focus in and get your work done!

Wanted to update my review. Got in contact with the owner and some changes have been made. First, contact information is up to date, a large issue was emails going to an older address. So he updated the information so now things should not be missed. Second, he addressed my concern with the volume, he went in one evening and witnessed what I said first hand and has addressed the issue with his staff. The music volume is much more appropriate for a gym setting, you can hear it but your ear buds and still drown it out.

Some of the equipment is aging, some is state of the art. Take that as you will. I have noticed several new weights which is always good as well as a machine has been swapped out. I've also seen someone work on new machinery in a side room so it's nice to see constant updates happening.

Many of the equipment are rusty and worn out especially a facility that doesn’t offer WiFi, lockers are all completely rusting and dirty it seems they never once cleaned it.

Love this place!!! FINALLY a hardcore place to train!!! Lots of equipment. Big and spacious. Doesn't feel like everyone is on top of each other when the gym starts to get full around peak hours. Also, love the massage chair!!! My only complaint is that it's SUPER dirty!!! Never toilet paper or paper towels stocked. Trash all over the floors. They need a cleaner. (My service is available). The front desk guy just sits there the entire time he's there. And hardly ever clean towels to wipe down the equipment after use.

I’ve belonged to NTF for around 4 years and have always felt like I belong there. It has all the equipment you need and more. The owner and trainers are very helpful and don’t make you feel embarrassed for not knowing how to use a machine, etc. If you like group fitness, there’s classes available all week. There are healthy snacks, meals, shakes, smoothies and supplements available as well as massage chairs. There are saunas & showers in the locker looms with a changing room for privacy. There’s even an area for children to hang out. I’ve never had any issues with other members, everyone has been very friendly. It’s exciting to see how Walter has grown his business and expand his gym, making it the best gym to belong to.

I’ve been going to NoNonsense Training Facility for a little over 2 years now. The owner strives to add new equipment for clients to be able to get that extra from the workouts when they come in. Whenever I go to the gym I feel welcomed by everyone even those whom I’ve never met before because the atmosphere there is one of positivity and success. The best, real gym experience. It feels like you're inside an old school gym that had filming with pro bodybuilders. If you can't get fit there, you're out of your mind. I would never go here again. The owner is extremely unprofessional and doesn’t like others opinions. I have to do keto for my epilepsy and he demanded a note from my doctor. I said I don’t owe you an explanation you are not my trainer I don’t have a trainer. He banned me from the gym because of something I said about my husband and he didn’t like my opinion even though he was the one name calling towards someone else on my fb status. Extremely childish. I liked it here when I first started but now that the true colors have shown, never again. Also, I had a seizure a week ago being on this new meal plan. I hadn’t had one for the 3 months that I did keto.
