The place is beautiful but I would agree that it's not well thought out for someone with a more severe disability and you definitely need some support or someone with you otherwise. I'm disappointed by how I was treated by the young exercise physiologist who judged and joked about my age/looks when I toured the place several months back. Not only did I think it was unprofessional but my brother has just had a stroke a few months prior and it seemed very insensitive. The facility is very nice but definitely more for those with greater mobility. The location is not great and I wish OhioHealth would invest in other communities that could really use great amenities/care.

I'm a newbie here, recently diagnosed with MS., and recently graduated from neuro rehab.
This entire experience with OhioHealth, from diagnosis to where I am today, has been absolutely amazing. I feel SO supported by everyone here, from direct care staff, and admin staff, to other patients and their carers as well.
I feel like everyone along the way has both held my hand when I've needed it, and pushed me when I've needed it. These folks demonstrate so much caring. They're doing it right.
At no time have I felt like I've gotten lost in the healthcare system here.
The Neuroscience team is top-notch. They are such champions, cheerleaders.
I've been in healthcare, as a worker, for 20 years. I've seen the best and the worst. I've been an MS patient for less than a year.
And this is the best I can imagine.

For people who live in other parts of Columbus is just too far far away, but then again, they put it where the rich people live they’re not gonna put one on the east side or the west side or downtown where is better assessability

Their website states they treat sleep disorders yet I was just told when I tried to schedule that they do not. So the capture I took means what then? Narcolepsy is a neuro disorder and yet finding a neurologist that treats it seems to be very difficult. Thought I got lucky with this place. Apparently not.

I visited a caregiver support group. It was a well-maintained facility in a landscaped setting. All the employees I encountered were helpful, kind, and professional. Of course, I'd rather not need to go there, but since I do, I'm grateful for how nice it was.

After receiving a PD diagnosis last spring, my neurologist recommended the OhioHealth Neuroscience Wellness Center. Thanks to outstanding professional staff at the wellness center What a difference six months has made to my overall health. The staff is friendly and inviting. Fitness classes are designed to be supportive and challenging to improve your health. I am thankful and appreciative to the OhioHealth Fitness Center staff for the difference they are making in my life.

This is a very good facility if your moderately disabled. Be sure to bring someone to assist you If your disability is more severe.The exercise rooms are as far from the front door as they could possibly get them.Wheelchairs are provided, But you must bring your own valet. Facility seemed to be built more for Aesthetics then for functionality.The staff is very nice and as helpful as they're allowed to be.That's a $1,000 I'll never see again.

I will never be able to describe how wonderful this place is. It is very well thought out and ready to accommodate physical and neurological impairments. The classes are amazing and offer tons of options. The staff are caring, compassionate and always eager to help. Go for a tour, you will love it!
