Mike has helped me to regain my confidence. I thought I was too old to make a lifestyle change and that my body was too far gone to bounce back after a broken ankle and a back injury. I am in my 60's and have been training with Mike for about 6 months now and never thought I'd say it, but I really love working out! Unlike experiences I've had in other fitness settings, Mike is great about listening to MY goals and building a program that is helping me achieve those goals! He does a great job of creating variety and just the right amount of challenge to keep every session interesting and customized to MY goals, needs and challenges. Highly recommend.

I had been going to the gym off and on for a few years when I decided to get some assistance from a personal trainer. Mike went beyond my expectations. He is very personable, knowledgeable, and passionate about health and physical fitness. He created beneficial workouts that fit my needs and assisted with meal plans as well. I was impressed with the gains I was making and was always ready for the next workout. Due to personal reasons I had stopped going and am doing my best to get my mindset there again. Mike is very encouraging and your biggest cheerleader. If he thinks you need pushed, more weight added or anything he will push you. He teaches correct techniques to avoid injury, which was very helpful because this was something I was always unsure of. If you are thinking of getting help from a personal trainer, Mike and Peak Ability Fitness is where you should start.

I am a 60 year old female and Mike has been working with me for 4 months. Since then I have lost 35 lbs. But most important to me is the ability to get off the floor now. Mike gave me some strength exercises to do and I was impressed at the things I can do now. Mike gave me exercises that I could do right in my home. He told me how to do them and if I couldn’t do them how to adjust them and work myself up to being able to do them. I can now walk up steps without holding onto railing, squat down and get up without crawling to find something to help me up , go for walks in woods with my dog up and down hills without getting so out of breath that I had to keep stopping. Mike has helped me so much and I am thankful for that. He is soft spoken and passionate about what he does. I would recommend him to anyone. He knows his stuff. Thank You Mike!

Mike, trainer and owner of Peak Ability Fitness is great at what he does! He’s very knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition. Mike has been training me for just under a year now and has helped me go from 227lbs to 204lbs the healthy way. I started out training with him in his personal training studio where he trains one on one. Lately , due to logistical reasons , I have had to change to his online training that he offers through a really cool app he offers as off of this programming. It’s not the same as being there in person but, he’s always available by phone for any questions or coaching about my workouts or meal planning. If I’m my wife and I are at a restaurant and I’m not quite sure what fits my goals, I shoot him a screen shot of the menu and he provides me with the options that fits into my goals. He has taught me so much about myself and how my body metabolizes food and builds muscle. I was diagnosed with hypertension just a couple months before hiring him and now my BP is under control and I’m already off my medication with my doctor’s permission of course. So far during my journey with Mike , I have been able to not only lose 23lbs while adding lean muscle and so far have my BP under control without taking medication. So, I think it’s quite obvious , I would highly recommend Peak Ability Fitness to anyone that is serious about starting a new fitness and health journey. You won’t go wrong by giving this guy a chance to help you.
