Booked a party for my nieces on a Saturday. We booked it almost 3 weeks ahead at the school & not online. The week of the party we called because we did not receive a call like we apparently were supposed to regarding details, a count for how many kids that are showing up, etc. Come to find out we were not even booked for that day. We paid a deposit but somehow we weren't booked? Day of the party, they did make sure that the area was cleaned up so we could start setting up right away. Towards the end of the party, lights were being turned off while we were still opening presents. We felt rushed to leave and started cleaning up as my nieces were still opening presents. Not the friendliest way to end a party and it was embarrassing toward our guests.

For the most part, I enjoyed my time at PGS. But the communication to staff was always lacking. Maybe it's just my luck, but I always felt left out of the loop.

I’ve known Perfection Gymnastic School since 2019 because they collaborate with our preschool students by offering a gym class as part of our curriculum. I can’t say enough great things about it! The facility is always clean, the equipment is well-maintained, and there’s a great variety of equipment .

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. The trainers are top-notch, offering great advice and motivation. I also love the group classes—they are fun, challenging, and led by fantastic instructors who also are very loving, welcoming and inclusive with the special needs students.

One of the best things about this gym is the positive and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re a beginner or a competitive athlete.

If you’re looking for a gym that truly cares about your child and provides an excellent training, I highly recommend Perfection Gymnastics School.

Please don't take your kid here unless you want to waste money, big disappointment. First time ever having my child in gymnastics wanted to try something new. Signed her up for "beginner tumbling." We were only there for a month. The big age gap that they have for that class 5-12 yr olds is crazy they have kids in the class that are way ahead of some kids that are brand new at this. They definitely need classes that are more suitable for kids that are brand new and need more one on one time. The make-up days are definitely not what you sign your kids up for it seems like they throw your kid in a class and call it "Beginner Tumbling" or whatever you regionally sign your kid up for.Hopefully, they make changes this in the future so parents dont have to go through what we went through.

Wanted to give a shoutout to this gym for being professional and accommodating. We were with one of the other competitors and was looking for a change and Perfection has been a great fit for us and the development of our child. The customer service has been excellent from their front desk staff especially Moe. We had an issue that we came across and with Moe's help we got it handled. Thank you Perfection.

Amazing coaches and a super positive place. I have gone to pgs for over 6 years and they are extremely welcoming and supportive. I had a really bad mental block for 3 years and without these coaches by my side I would have quit many years ago. This is the best gym I have ever gone to!

We are leaving this gym (after being here for +1.5years) due to their poor management of the classes and how disorganized everything is. They have "coaches" constantly changing and most don't know how to teach and manage younger classes. Frequently they have 1 "coach" teaching two younger classes at one time which leads to no one getting anything out of the class. Not to mention that the "coach" is clearly frustrated and impatient with the kids because they are clearly overwhelmed, but also what is the purpose of paying for you child to be in a class intended for 3/4 year olds to have the "coach" try and teach at the exact same time the 2 year old partner class. There is never any growth and development of kids, just rinse and repeat every class.

We have been at Perfection for 2-1/2 years. The staff is great to work with and loves working with kids! Our youngest had been in one of the younger classes for a few months, and that inspired my oldest to want to start. Our girls are now working their way through the program, one on the recreational track and one has recently started along the competition development track, and they continue to be exited to go each and every week!

Many of the instructors are current and former gymnasts who have worked their way through the program. This in turn helps continue the culture of encouragement, while pushing each and every gymnast to strive to be the best they can be!

The parent waiting/observation area provides a complete view of all recreational areas of the gym, so it is easy to see what my kids are doing and learning.

We are thankful to have found Perfection as it has been a great experience for our family!

I’ve been at Perfection for around 7 years. I really have enjoyed all of my time here! The staff is super kind and actually ends contacting guardians. The coaches always work at your pace and make good accommodations for everyone! There is a lot of one on one coaching and you can even schedule private classes basically whenever. I also enjoy give you reality checks but not in a mean way. At competitions if they win an award the coaches and girls are really considerate of others that may have not done as good. They teach the girls respect and manners, they also always put academics and family first. It is such a great environment!

I love Perfection! I have been doing gymnastics here for 10 years, and it has been a great environment to learn and grow as a gymnast and with life outside of the gym. The coaches are amazing, and they train young gymnasts to be the best that they can be! Perfection also has fun special events, including birthday parties, parents night outs, and day camps for anyone to enjoy. All of the staff truly cares about everyone who walks in the door.

Extremely unprofessional. You’ve got teenagers teaching the developmental team, it’s a revolving door with the coaches. The coach in charge of developmental has a horrific attitude and is incredibly disrespectful to the kids.
The team to coach ratio would range 10-14+/1. Kids are given very little direction or correction due to the volume of students to coach. For rec not competitive it would be fine but definitely not for preparation to be competitive.
If you’re child isn’t picked as a favorite they will not teach them. Due to the lack of maturity of the coaches they do not deal well with the younger kids frustrations. The way they talk to children is very harmful to the young athlete.

This company is so unprofessional If I could give 0 stars I would! I came here and found out that my nieces former flip n twist coach was here and my daughter moved up just to stay with her only to be rudely surprised that she was no longer working here anymore. The company forced her to stay quiet unless she stayed much longer than she needed. May I remind you she gave two weeks even though she was going through a family crisis which is super nice considering family comes first she could have just left but she did not. So My daughter came into practice thinking she was going to see her favorite coach and well that wasn’t what happened she was very upset. The rec supervisor Chelsea and owner Beth are so controlling and Unprofessional just to let students know last minute that their coach isn’t there lying to our faces saying certain coaches are just subbing instead of communicating that she is not working there! They did not even tell me she was not working there anymore I found out from the coach because she IS PROFESSIONAL . What a waste of my money. I’ll never go back to this dump.

This review is not about the school itself but the staff that worked the meet I just attended. The three girls that worked the front for guests to pay were EXTREMELY RUDE and unprofessional. I don’t pay for my daughter to attend meets and only to be greeted with attitude when I walk up and then to be made fun of when I walk by. Get some mature parents to work the front next meet. Also seating was horrendous and this was poorly organized.

Being a level 10 gymnast with quite a few years under my belt, I can easily say that out of all my gymnastics experiences at various gyms, camps, etc. Perfection Gymnastics School is the best place to be. All of the coaches are not only of extremely high-level and are very experienced, but they are also the most caring and understanding people. What really sets them apart from the rest is that they are SO so passionate about gymnastics. Whenever practice is in session, they give the gymnasts their undivided attention and focus. I can really tell that they want what’s best for us in both the gymnastics world, and in real life. There is also a super positive environment. I remember when I first came to Perfection, I felt so welcomed by all of the girls and coaching staff, and still feel that same support and love today!! Lastly, the gym itself is very large and the owner is constantly working to make it the best possible (evidence in recent gym expansions and renovation). There is an abundance of very high quality equipment so that all of the gymnasts have the most productive and safe workouts.
I share all of this because prior to coming to Perfection Gymnastics, I had faced much hardship with gymnastics and was honestly debating quitting the sport I once loved so much. Today, I still face many struggles, however with the help of my coaches and teammates, I am able to overcome them. In result, I have had success that would’ve never been possible anywhere else and am once again loving the sport of gymnastics!! I am so grateful I’ve been given the opportunity to train at this gym.

My daughter has been at Perfection Gymnastics for 6 years and on the competitive team for 5 years. Our experience has been positive in many ways. The coaches are fantastic techically and also excellent at relating to the athletes. The staff encourages hard work and dedication but also stresses the importance of having fun and learning life lessons for their future. My daughter's confidence and self esteem have tremendously grown outside of the gym because of her experience inside the gym. The environment inside the gym is safe, caring, supportive and family oriented.

I have been at Perfection since I was 11 and joined as level 9 on the competitive team. Throughout my whole competitive gymnastics career, starting at the age of 6 as a level 4, I have faced many setbacks, injuries, and negative coaches. I almost quit this amazing sport until I found Perfection and experienced the amazing environment there. I didn’t have the love I used to have due to every negative experience I’ve had prior to coming to perfection. As soon as I stepped foot into perfection it was home. Every single coach on staff through 7 years of being on the 9/10 competitive team has been nothing but supportive and a positive light to my life and experience as a gymnast. My experience at Perfection made me love this amazing sport again. Gymnastics is hard and NOTHING gets handed to you but I wouldn’t be the person I am today without it. The coaches not only get to know you as a gymnast but they make it a point to know you as a person and know what makes you work and what makes you the best athlete you can be. They treat every athlete like family and truly just want the best for the athlete and for them to have the most successful careers. I’ve experienced 3 different gyms, coaching staffs, and teams throughout my 15 years of gymnastics and I can tell you that Perfection isn’t only the best but it’s a place where you feel like home and feel like you belong. In the sport of gymnastics you have to be pushed through physical, mental, and emotional adversities and the only way to do that is to be tough and have the right people helping you. I can tell you the staff at Perfection are the best people for pushing you to be your best and helping you accomplish every goal you have!

This is a top notch gym with top notch coaches and facilities. They treat the girls with respect and have very positive attitudes. They will not let girls do skills that are dangerous and have the girls’ best interests at heart. My daughter has been here since they opened and has grown not only as gymnast but as a young lady. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to train!

My daughter has been at Perfection since January of 2015. In the last 3 and a 1/2 years, the gym has become her second home. She has grown into a stronger, braver, and more resilient young girl because of the support she has received from the Perfection staff. They continually treat her with kindness, patience, and respect. She absolutely adores her coaches and has had a wonderful experience as a level 2/3 competitive gymnast! My son has also had a great experience in both Ninja and recreational gymnastics classes. We are thankful every day for Perfection Gymnastics and their loving, conscientious staff.

I will say we also had some great years at this gym. We were there for over 5 1/2 years. The last year was rough, to say the least. We did not want to leave, but complaints were not heard or dealt with in the right way. Everything that Lilkar mentioned in that review also happened to my daughter, plus some. At one point my daughter was crying, scared to do her round off bhs because she had been told many many times before that she was never going to get it. She was being forced to do it anyway. Another coach from a different level said it was too dangerous, she should not be made to do this. That coach was told by my daughter's head coach to mind her own business. My daughter then landed on her head and hurt her neck. Luckily it was not a terribly injury, but it could have been. I asked after a meet if we could leave or did they want a photo of The team like usual, i was told by this same coach, we didn't win why would i want a photo. My daughter at her first meet was made to stand on the sidelines watching her team warm up while she wasn't allowed to because she did not have her roundoff back handspring. Several parents besides myself were visibly upset about this. It was like she was being punished for not having that skill. She was standing there humiliated. I was told they were not allowed to spot her so she had to take a zero on floor. This was not a true statement. As a mother it is a very difficult thing to watch your daughter standing in front of hundreds of people huddled in on herself having to stand there by herself humiliated. This year we were at the doctor twice for chest pains which turned out to be panic attacks for anxiety that my daughter had never suffered from before. I also had a doctor's note stating that my daughter needed to wear tiger paws for a month to allow a wrist injury to heal while doing floor, and was told no that they did not allow them to wear tiger paws for any reason. She went against a doctor's orders. The owners yelled at me when I tried to talk to a supervisor about my concerns. They also yelled at the other coaches in the room, their employees in front of me. I'm also saddened that my daughter's first experience with competitive gymnastics was this way, and that she wasn't allowed to celebrate with her teammates and friends at what would have been her first banquet. There are many more things as well. My daughter is starting to get her confidence back. It is a work in progress and will take a while though. We are still working on the anxiety as well, but just getting her away from that environment has helped a lot

Why a 1 star:
I had two daughters at PGS for the last 3 years, and this rating is UNIQUELY in regards to my youngest daughter’s ex-coaches. So, this review is in particular for L2/L3 Head Coach and the L2/L3 Bar Coach who trained my youngest daughter this past year in L3. Here are my facts:
My youngest was in L3 and the groups were divided into 3 groups. She was assigned to a group of girls that were working skills and in particular some of them (mine included as she was recovering) didn’t have the BHS. Well, this group of girls was called the “BAD” group by one of the coaches. Several of these girls had limited opportunities to work upgrades and indeed were limited in their time to work on the floor. My daughter described being in the bad group several times; described how these coaches would treat either her or several of her friends in complete disrespect and indeed exposed to constant humiliation in front of others. My girl described how several of them were told expressions such as: “shame on you” over and over; “that skill looks horrible”; “you are wasting your parents money”; constant threats of “I am going to tell your Mom” hmmm?; “you are never going to get this skill”; “you should move to excel”; “you are never going to make your BHS on the floor”; “you are going to break your arm”…
My little one was questioned about private matters and even was put on the spot about the private conversations I had with the coaches in several occasions.
While my little one didn’t say all of these at once, and she is still on a path where her healing is to continue to drain on these pestilent expressions, and I heard her over and over, I decided to record her voice and stories without her knowing … and it is really heart breaking. She has been negatively impacted by what was told directly to her but also what she heard others being told.
I tried to have conversations with the management, but did not feel heard. One of the expressions that still buzz in my head is: “…Let her struggle, so she gains the full benefit of the sport”… Exactly as she predicted, after having a “come to Jesus” discussion about these facts with one of the owners… She went back to practice, and it happened again! She was screamed again.
The head coach called me to bad talk about other Mom’s, about their choices with their less talented girls; asked me about one of the coaches crying one day at the gym; complained and bad mouthed the gym and their lodging accommodations; or even negatively gesturing and rolling her eyes when knowing previous coaches would step in; and yet this lady uses her charm and power of words to avoid “being accountable”. I guess since I did not engage in these discussions, I was not part of her group…
I moved out of state last weekend and my little one decided not to practice the last few weeks at PGS and after talking with mentors and specialists, we decided it was the best decision for her. It was extremely hard having two daughters with such different experiences. My oldest cried living the PGS L6 that we knew… that place we loved and that place that we mourned for so long. My little one, on the contrary, even after leaving with close to 40 medals in only two short years, training outside on her own and having a very good year and overcoming so many obstacles cried of happiness for not having to train with those two coaches ever again. Like she said: “When we were arriving at the Gym, I thought – she said- maybe today is the day… maybe they did listen and will be like before and they will treat me and my friends well”…
Mental abuse exists, and for the wellbeing of the girls IT NEEDS TO STOP. Be accountable of your actions, and remember that little girls grow to retell their stories. Don’t destroy confidence, BUILD IT.
I am coming forward because there is a factor of accountability that needs closure. I am coming forward because the only way to avoid the gossiping is to tell MY TRUTH. The only way to avoid other little girls being mentally abuse is to openly talk about it and HOLD people and aggressors accountable.
