When I began this program over 3 years ago, I was at what felt like my lowest point. My weight was out of control, and my blood work was in a critical place. Finding Performance Therapy truly changed everything for me. This program is completely dedicated to helping people reach a healthy place.
From the start, my workouts were designed to match my personal fitness level, and I always had one-on-one support from the staff whenever something didn’t feel right. The attention and care they’ve given me have made all the difference in keeping me safe and supported on this journey.
To date, I’ve lost well over 150 pounds—but even more importantly, I move differently. With 2 rebuilt knees , I’ve been able to rebuild my strength and confidence to take on new personal goals and challenges.
I’m incredibly grateful for the support, encouragement, and dedicated training I’ve received. Thanks to Performance Therapy, I’m so close to my weight loss and physical goals. I know that with their continued support, I’ll achieve every goal I set for myself.

I have really enjoyed this program. I started in September 2023. When I started I was fatigued, and had low energy. Since then, I have more energy, I’m stronger, my knees feel so much better, and I’ve lost some weight and inches too! Austin is a great trainer! I have significant lower back issues, including stenosis, that has brought on increased chronic pain over the last 2 or 3 years. I have gone through the standard path for my issues of oral steroids, injections, traditional PT, and NSAIDS. While all of that helps with the pain in the short term, the 8 months I have spent with Performance Therapy has been the greatest benefit. I am stronger than I have been in the last 5 years despite the pain. I would hate to see where I would be if I hadn't started working out with Austin and Janel. They know what they are doing, and even though it is a group setting, they work with me individually if I am having a day where I am feeling a little more pain than normal. They have a unique setup that is a benefit to anybody in a similar situation as me. I know I will continue to go to keep the surgeons at bay, and even if that is the route I end up taking, I will be back at Performance Therapy for my post op rehab.

Receiving Personal Training at Performance Therapy Fitness has been such a great experience. I have been Training there for a couple of months. All the trainers are very focused on developing the best personal plan for each individual. They are very encouraging and help you focus on the correct techniques and a plan that's best for you and your goals. They start with where "you" are and gradually add on as you become stronger. I have been to so many fitness programs where they want to start you above your capabilities and try to train you like a body builder. My goal is activate weak muscles, get stronger and loses some weight along the way. I want to feel good! I really look forward to my training sessions and always feel energized after I have worked out. I highly recommend - especially for those in the senior bracket.

Performance therapy fitness is the best place I’ve worked out! Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Expert fitness trainers who listen and work with your problem areas. Help to strengthen, increase mobility and are always available while working out if questions come up. Without hovering check on you and give suggestions for correct form when needed.
Kevin is a gem, being a physical therapist, has helped me reduce shoulder, knee and back pain greatly. I’m able to do daily activities with ease where before had much difficulty.

Joined this place back in February knowing I had to do something proactive in my 50’s. While it may seem a bit pricey it was what I needed: guidance and accountability in a comfortable setting. As someone who works full-time it can be challenging to make my two workouts a week with no weekend hours. But most weeks I get it done. The trainers there are really great and provide a workout for me. They pay close attention to any injuries and help rehab those as well. I can’t say I’ve lost any weight but I feel so much stronger and my clothes fit better.

I struggled with pain in my arm for a year. Went to the doctor and chiropractor with no luck. Met with Kevin, the PT, and after a month no pain. He works closely with his trainers to keep building muscle and keep pain away. All the trainers are awesome. Patient and keep an eye on you to make sure you’re doing all the exercises the correct way. I highly recommend Performance Therpy!

My doctor wanted me to add strength and toning to my exercise routine. I looked around and found Performance Therapy on Facebook. Made an appointment with Kevin which was a great decision. I’ve seen so much improvement during my time there. Especially strength improvement and flexibility. I started here about 2 months after I had a total knee replacement on my left knee. The post surgery PT ended and I knew I still needed guidance for the recovery. My workouts were customized to rehab my knee while also strengthening upper body and core. It is great to have a trainer, nutritionist and physical therapist to consult when needed.

My husband found Performance Therapy Fitness after his rotator cuff and bicep surgery. He wanted a place that could help him strengthen his arm and the bonus was they specialized in physical therapy. Well, the company he works for started talking about possible relocation for another job site. So on the day of his intake appointment he sent me to see if I could replace him. Now, I was resistant because I've joined gyms in the past and never committed to it which resulted in me paying for something I was not benefitting from. I can actually say, I've been committed since day one at Performance Therapy and thankful my husband encouraged me to go. I had lower back pain from my sciatica flare ups, yet my trainer Austin is awesome. He showed me the proper stretching and offered helpful tips to do at home. Since I started last year, I can see the results. Lost inches and weight. I dropped 2 dress sizes and still shedding it off. I feel stronger in my arms and legs. He pretty much does a full body workout and it's created personal to you. My confidence is up. I even entered my husband and I in the OSU 4 Miler event, met up with the workout crew, finished it together as a team. and had so much fun. I cannot forget to mention Janel. She helps keep me motivated. Provides insight on changing up your eating habits, meal prep, and has us on a daily challenge. I am super thankful for each one of them. I have experienced back pain for many years and recently it got worse. I was waking up at night in pain and tossing and turning to try to go back to sleep. I've been attending P erformNce Theraphy for about a month now.My training coaches are just what I needed. They designed a work out that allows me to break a little sweat without stressung me out. Why am I here? While lying in my bed when I should have been asleep. I came across this ad about a gym or training facility that offered a physical therapist on site.
I clicked on the site and forgot about it… moving forward I kept getting calls but never followed up with them because I forgot I clicked on the site and did not remember the name of the facility.
So one day I answered the call and you know what happened I show up twice a week to rehab my left shoulder with the trainers and
physical therapist. I’ve torn the right rotor cuff twice and now the left want to tear.
So, what do I like about this place, the location is on my way home from work, the physical therapist checks on me personally to check my range of motion, the trainers design activities that strengthen and improve my physical health and strength. The nutritionist is encouraging as well. I highly recommend this gym.

I have enjoyed working out at performance therapy fitness. I went in with knee issues and not being able to walk up and down the steps very well. Within six weeks pain is gone from walking the steps. This program is designed especially for people over 50, but anyone can participate. While it is a small group training, the personal trainers do an amazing job at individually guiding each participant. This small group-yet-individual training approach gives me the benefit of individual personal training at a reduced group price. My trainer, Austin, has been incredible in ensuring my progress, personally guiding my exercise routine and keeping the routine fresh, fun, and interesting, inquiring about my whole health, holding me accountable, and even checking on me if I have missed a couple of appointments. The facility/equipment has everything I need for a full workout. The atmosphere is one of camaraderie and support among the participants. Try it - you'll find your place here.

At the recommendation of my chiropractor, I signed up for 3 mos. with PT Fitness. I have now extended for an additional year. I workout for an hour 3x a week with a trainer, usually Demetri, & sometimes Austin & Kevin. Within 6 weeks, I have seen a significant improvement in strength, which isn't easy at age 75, and, importantly, without injury. The trainers are knowledgeable and capable of giving individual attention to multiple people with similar goals...improving strength and stability. My doctor recommended Performance Therapy Fitness for back and knee pain to get me moving again to aid in weight management after struggling with disordered eating. I cannot say enough about the program Kevin, Austin and Janel provide. After only a few months, I am now able to stand for small amounts of time without pain, my knee has become stronger, I’ve learned so much about wellness and caring about my own physical and mental health. I’m truly becoming a different person with this program in a safe, healthy, supportive and fun environment! I can’t wait to see where they take me in this new found journey in life!

I love this place. Austin has been my trainer since I started the program. He may have multiple clients at the same time but he never misses a beat with the personal attention given to each one. He explains what we're to do and how to do it...always makes sure we're okay.. Modifications are made if someone cannot do an exercise the typical way.. He meets us where we're at. The staff is so friendly!

This is the best fitness program I’ve ever tried. The sense of community of the people that use the program, the commitment and enthusiasm of the training, staff, and the fact that they really care about you as a person makes this a top-notch place to come and regain your fitness. Kevin is great. He is very attentive to any needs you may have. He is very friendly and always makes sure to ask how you are feeling when he sees you.
Coach D is an awesome trainer. He is very motivating and helps you adapt the exercises for your level. I can honestly say I am able to do way more now then when I started. I have definitely seen a change in my ability to walk or move at a fast pace without getting winded.
Janel is very sweet. She works with you to figure out what will work for your nutritional needs. She is very willing to send anything you request through email or she is always available to answer all questions.
Austin is new to the crew but he fits right in with the crew. He is very friendly and helpful. I have not had the opportunity to train with him but I have observed him working so patiently with people who have mobility issues.
I actually let my membership run out because I felt like I could do this on my own. That plan didn't work out so well. I found that I really need this support group to help me on my journey.
