Our style of exercise would be considered functional fitness as we combine elements of strength, mobility, and cardiovascular endurance into each workout. There are no membership fees or long-term contracts. Sessions start at $30/hr. Consultations are free.

I am updating my review from over two years ago when I thought I was going to work with Brian for a few weeks, while waiting for a new gym to open. I quickly realized that his workouts and personal training were going to be the best for me long term. I canceled my pending membership at the new gym and have trained with Brian for over 3 years now, with no intentions of stopping. I know that I’m one of many clients who have been, and will be, with him for years, because he is THAT good. I had the privilege of getting to know Brian from taking his Boot Camp classes at the gym I went to over 15 years ago. In that same gym, I also was able to observe him with many different clients, male and female, of varying athletic abilities. I was always intrigued and amazed at how he was able to bring out the best and all of them. I’m SO thankful that I had the opportunity to know and observe him years ago, otherwise, as a female, I wouldn’t choose to hire a male trainer. Brian has always been very professional, respectful, and made me feel very comfortable.

I have been in sports and active in gym memberships and various classes throughout my life. Working with Brian has made me the most fit and happy that I have ever been. Before starting with him in 2021, I had plantar fasciitis, inflammation in my hips, lower back, elbow, and shoulder. Brian wrote workouts to target healing and recovery of those areas while also allowing me to build strength and stamina overall, without causing more injury or pain. I had thought I would have to give up running and jumping, but now I’m running and jumping better than I ever have.

Brian is consistently going above and beyond for me and all of his clients. For example, when I was frustrated with my slow weight loss, he spent a LOT of extra time reviewing my diet and has taught me how to structure my meals and make food choices to help me feel my very best. I’ve lost over 30 pounds over the last 3 years and because of his guidance, I have developed habits to keep the weight off for good. In another example, this past March, I competed in the Pump and Run event at the Arnold Classic. He tailored my workouts to help me prepare. He also attended the event in person to support me and four of his other clients who were also competing. He gave up his Sunday morning to be there in the crowded chaos for us.

Even after three years, every workout still feels different and challenging. Over this time, I have had different strength, fitness, and weight loss/fat loss goals. He supports me on every single one, and he doesn’t just match my energy and effort, he always raises the bar and challenges me to do more. Which usually I do and I feel amazing about myself. I enjoy making him proud and he enjoys seeing me make myself proud. His knowledge and support makes such a difference. I’ve been able to see him do this with ALL of his clients. He has an incredible ability to adapt and personalize his training. I do the majority of my workouts online. Brian makes himself available to quickly answer all my questions and concerns. When I am able to work out with him in person, it’s even better because he makes observations and coaches movements to every exercise that can make a big difference in the effectiveness of each particular movement. Sometimes I joke that he has magic powers because it seems I can lift heavier and move faster when I am there with him in person.

Partnering with Brian and trusting him with all my health and fitness goals has been one of the top five best decisions I’ve ever made in my life. He is arguably the best trainer in our area.

I have been working out with exercise trainers in some capacity for over 25 years. I’ve been with Brian now for two and half years and I am incredibly impressed with his approach to exercise training. The group I workout with ranges in age from 26-76 – each with different goals, levels of fitness, and limitations. He designs a single workout (never the same!) offering modifications/personalization to accommodate every need in the group. His therapeutic approach brings a focus to proper form for injury prevention, but also offers a rehabilitative perspective for injury recovery. And most importantly, Brian enjoys his relationships with his clients and creates a culture of comradery. We have a great time, encourage one another, hold each other accountable, and even become friends. Highly recommend!

After I stopped competing at the professional level for golf I was looking to still train like an athlete and I couldn't have found a better gym. Brian brings it every workout and each one is something different. He will work around any injury or mobility issues you have and gives everyone the same attention. I've had trainers at the division 1 level and I would put Brian ahead of all of them. If you want to start or continue your fitness journey I can't recommend this place enough.

Brian is a total package. I couldn't have asked for more. He is professional, punctual, personable and mindful of my goals while remaining cognizant of my physical limitations. I started training 3 months ago. 1 month in I injured my knee while on vacation. I was barely able to put weight on it. I was going to cancel my sessions. He told me to come in anyway. We began rehab that day and I am so grateful. I'm now walking with a slight limp that only I notice. He is very careful to make modifications and ensure that no exercise is painful or will cause aggravation to the injury while still challenging me to stretch and strengthen my muscles while I'm healing. He is uber knowledgeable and takes the time to explain which muscles groups will be worked and how they are activated. I have had to go out of town and missed going to the gym, but I didn't miss any workouts because he provides individualized exercises that are accessible online with whatever equipment, weights or resistance bands you may have. If you're serious and want to do the work Brian is Team YOU all the way!

If you’re reading my review, then it means you’re considering taking ownership of your physical fitness (health) or you want to enhance it. I found myself to be the latter. Since college, I’ve stayed active and kept myself in good physical shape, however I became stagnant and needed a push. So I decided to register for the Arnold Classic Pump & Run. It’s a competition that requires participants to bench press (up to 30 reps) their body weight and run a 5K afterwards. I hadn’t done anything like this, so I decided I need to consult with a personal trainer. I asked several people from my gym and all of them gave me the same name – Brian Kelly. Several months before the competition, Brian and I met to draft a training plan. He shared the what and why on each exercise and the targeted muscle group. Needless to say, I completed my first Arnold Classic Pump & Run with a bench press of 215lbs for 28 reps and 5K run (~ 26 min). I was so impressed that I decided to join Brian’s workout groups fulltime.

Again, I had some fitness experience, but what really impresses me about Brian are the people he transforms without experience or physical activity. He connects with people personally no matter who they are: teenage, young adult, mature adult, male, female, black, white. I’ve seen him rehab people from injuries or have some physical limitations. The workouts he develops will push you, but you’re going to feel accomplished and notice results later. In addition, the people working out with you are encouraging and you’ll be surprised the friendships you create. If you don’t believe me, stop by and witness the people they (Brian, Chad and Rob) have transformed.

Please keep in mind this is a two-way relationship. It’s similar to a teacher-2-student relationship where they teach and YOU have to do the work. It’s going to require you to be responsible, accountable and take ownership of yourself. They will provide the tools and encouragement, but you’ll need to bring the work.

I’ve trained with Brian Kelly for over 15 years and never had the same workout twice. He showed me what a healthy diet looks like for ME, and what it takes to transform my body through diet, exercise and healthy habits. He knows how hard to push you and refuses to accept excuses. The workouts are always challenging and can take you outside of your comfort zone, but the sense of accomplishment is worth the effort that goes in. During a personal break I had to take from training, I suffered an Achilles tendon rupture and later an issue with tennis elbow. Brian didn’t let me miss a beat because he knew exactly how to rehab the injuries. With gyms recently closed due to COVID-19, Brian had online workouts up and running for his clients by our next regularly scheduled workout day. I highly recommend Brian Kelly and his team of personal trainers. They genuinely care about their clients and know how to make us the best version of ourselves. I have been working out most of my adult life! I started working out with Brian Kelly over 6 years ago. I thought I would just hire him for a few months, learn new exercises and move on. I was pleasantly surprised with the results I had within the first three months working out with him. I lost over 25 lbs with his nutrition plan and workouts. My body developed muscles I had never seen before. The workouts are always different! I am very driven, but he pushes me and I do exercises and lift weights I never thought I could. I am 54 years old and I’m strong and fit! I couldn’t run after running 9 marathons because of the knee pain. He has helped rehab and build my core and muscles enough and now I can run with no knee pain! He is very careful and detailed in form to prevent injury. If we get hurt, he gives us exercises to heal back. I have never been I hurt lifting heavy with him. He just helps me with my aches and pains of being of over used muscles and not stretching enough on my own and as a result he incorporates stretching in my workouts.

When this crazy virus started, he had to close his gym, but I’m doing his online workouts and they are great! They are challenging, but very doable. He assigns me supersets with demo videos for every exercise. There is always warm up, stretching exercises, and of course cardio! They are crafted for my level of fitness and for my goals. I do not need much weight equipment or a home gym. I only have a couple sets of weights and two bands. I get a really great workout every time.

He also trained my 18 year old daughter for her Army Basic Training and she was top 4 female in her platoon! I cannot say enough about this man who is now also a great friend! I highly recommend him! Thank you, Brian for all your dedication to your clients and physical fitness! You are truly gifted!

This is a facility that works for everyone as each training is individualized for age, ability and personal needs. Trainers (Brian, Chad and Rob) are so much fun, but yet very challenging. Every session is different, so there is nothing boring or repetitious. I met with Brian about 2 1/2 years ago with some trepidation. I was new at this gym thing, but had particular strength and endurance goals in mind and I discussed these with him. He was patient and safeguarded me from injury as I navigated through this new experience. In this short span of time, many of my goals have been achieved, my stereotype of gym culture has changed, and I have grown to look forward to my sessions at the gym. I power lifted competitively for over 20 years. After I hung up the powerlifting I was looking for something different. I have always enjoyed working out and I was lifting with my younger brother. I hurt my back about 7 years ago snow skiing and had to have back surgery, and had a double laminectomy. Even after the back surgery I still had the drive to work out, but did not want to go back to my old way of lifting. I reached out to Brian to start training me. I have been with him now for over 7 years and my back has never felt better. Brian always encourages me and keeps pushing me in ways I would not push myself.
