I asked Mike to make me a custom weight lifting program that matched my goals, and he nailed it. The plan is well thought out, challenging and tailored to me. You can tell he's knowledgeable, pays attention to your needs and doesn't just give you a cookie-cutter routine. Highly recommend working with him if you want something personalized and effective.

Michael tailors the workouts to the client. Not only in a general way, but week by week. Due to the arthritis in my hip, we work on specific areas to strengthen and stabilize that joint to help alleviate symptoms. He brings a broad range of experience to each client to maximize their results.

I have been using Mike as my Personal Trainer for over 2 years. I started soon after a hip replacement. Mike was able to understand what my goals of getting the hip fully back in shape and toning the rest of my body. We have also worked on maintenance and fixing little things that come along. Some minor injuries from normal activities and other aches and pains that come with age. Mike has also been a major player helping me prepare for Rotor Cuff Repair surgery and keeping the rest of my body in shape during the time that I can't do anything with my right arm due to the surgery. He's working great with coordinating my physical fitness requirements and my shoulder re-hab requirements.
Mike has been easy to work with and has a great personality. He's easy to work with and above all really cares about you. While he's never said so I believe he has done research on physical issues I've talked about and has come up with plans on his own to help improve things.
I will be using Mike to help me stay healthy as long as I can.

To say “Michael Peyton is a great personal trainer” would be an understatement. He’s phenomenal! Peyton takes the time to get to know your goals and gives you realistic steps to achieve them. He is always encouraging me as I make progress and supports and motivates me when I do fall short. After training with him for almost three years I’m not only in better shape and stronger, I am also more confident with myself! I would recommend him to anyone wanting to get in better shape!

I've had the pleasure of knowing Michael Peyton of Peyton Fitness Coaching for several years, but it's only in the past few months that I've started working more closely with him across different areas. Michael is a high-level black belt and Taekwondo instructor, a Personal Trainer, and is currently finishing up his clinicals to become a certified Physical Therapy Assistant. Michael currently works out of MPower Gym LLC.
I have… complicated knees. Some of it's structural, and some of it's from imbalances and weakness around the joint. Because of that, I don't have a lot of margin for error, and I'm extremely selective about who I take advice from or trust to design a training program. Before working with Michael, I had several in-depth conversations with him about training, biomechanics, muscle groups, and even our shared interest in learning from the best minds in fitness and rehab. On every point, I came away impressed. Michael doesn't just rely on what he's learned in school; he's constantly studying, refining, and evolving his approach. (And yes, there was one glorious time when I was right about something. That was a great day.)
Beyond my personal experience, Michael is also a fantastic Taekwondo instructor. He leads the homeschool program and is one of the core instructors in our school. He may or may not be able to kick higher than me. I'm not saying.
If you're looking for a Personal Trainer, exploring Taekwondo for yourself or your kids, or soon even needing physical therapy support, I can't recommend Michael Peyton highly enough. Solid mind, solid skills, and a genuinely thoughtful approach to helping others.
