The lap pool and free weight room are always in great condition and rarely are overcrowded. The new sauna in the pool deck area is spacious and clean. If you haven't been in the Y lately, you should see the improvements for yourself!

Great place if you want to just have a gym and simiclean locker room. This place is not kid friendly. You pay extra for everything, gymnastics, swim lessons, summer learning. I sent my child to the free 8 hour transition “camp” and had a change of clothes in case of an accident. Three different times came home soiled because wasn’t allowed to go to the bathroom during “quiet time”. I thought the cat had pooped in the house, no it was my 5yo in poopie underwear all day (just turned 6 and they were giving my child milk products, that I stressed was lactose intolerant). And the one free thing they offer for kids is open swimming, but it’s very limited during summer time and non existent in the winter months due to the swim team. I highly recommend not showering or having bare feet anywhere in the facility because they just bleach everything and rinse it (hair everywhere). I mean if you like wasting money that’s on you. Also the kid care isn’t cleaned by anyone, and they let the babies and toddlers scream while you’re getting gains in..

My family loves being members of the Pickaway County YMCA. They are who I trust for before & after school care, gymnastics, and the Creative arts center for dance. They have a good variety of equipment and child watch for busy parents!

Love this place. Good for elderly people and all age groups. The treadmills have fans and I love that option. They have a new to me ,teen room w Foosball ping-pong and other tables to play on and to come chill. Very nice options here at the ymca! If you're even thinking about a place to exercise or walk around the track where it's warm and cool in the summer, come to the ymca.

This YMCA is nice. Staff are always friendly and facilities are kept clean. Never have I had an issue with overcrowding. Unfortunately due to Covid some things are closed such as spa and steam room. However the pool and basketball court remain open but with limited availability.

The summer program was a joke, I was assured that he would be fine. They lost over 30 dollars worth of clothes, swim trunks and his new water bottle. This YMCA needs to be remodeled big time both with employees and building. I have supported YMCA for years in Columbus and Delaware. I won't be spending my money to support them. They talk about inclusive programs for children with disabilities yet have poorly trained staff to deal with children with disabilities. I am still appalled at the care my son recieved, and the response from this YMCA and corporate. DO NOT spend your money here, find other programs.

The pickaway Y gets good reviews bc there's not much competition around. But it's not all that great, the weight room is tiny, you can t listen to the Tv's in the cardio area, and the pool us always booked. Also most of the lockers are tiny and covered in rust. And on top of everything else it is way overpriced! I drive 20 minutes away to go to a better gym that's way cheaper!
