I love this PF. Been going for about 2 years. Never heard the annoying lunk. People are nice. Machines are high quality. I went here to start to begin my journey and planning to move when I needed heavier weights, but I like it so much that I’ll stay unless I were to move. Any time I tell people and they make jokes about PF, I tell them it depends on the gym. But this one is great, highly recommend

I call it "The Gym Scam"
Ya see, your business is no longer good enough. They want access to your banking numbers. For anyone who thinks that's a good idea, and there is nothing nefarious about that, I feel sorry for you. How in the world are people not aware of the true intention here? The cancelation process is inherently error prone, burdensome and always in their favor. This is (By DESIGN) When I asked about this, I was given the very lame excuse of safety. Yeah.. safety. That's why you can't use cash. 🙄 Wake up people.

Very rude. It’s the only pf gym I go to that the employees don’t acknowledge you when coming in and leaving. They’re always looking at me while I’m working out and laughing for some reason. I feel judged by the employees and the trainer that’s there around 12pm.

Clean, weights are tidy, many machines to choose from and utilize, have not had any issues with finding the equipment I want or need on a given day. No lock boxes but locker room is nice you just need your own lock. Staff is helpful, they have a cushion for the bar bell behind the front desk if you just ask!

love this gym I really do, the workers are friendly and gym is very clean. My issue is a young man who has been given the nickname "Bag Boy" by many gym goers, has sucked up half the gym to himself. He will use benches to block off the freeweight section to have his own space. He will start a set and wander off to talk with his friends or lack thereof. He will constantly do super sets on the busiest of days resulting in equipment with his stuff left on it while he's across the gym doing another machine. It's gotten so bad to the point that multiple people I've talked to had to switch their workouts they are doing because of his presence and how he takes up space. We would all love if he was removed from the gym. Not to mention he will take roughly 4-5 sets of free weights and lay them all over the floor and leave his duffle bag in the walkway, the guy acts like he owns the place and it's quite ridiculous. Would love to see the employees put a stop to the madness he is causing.

horrible horrible. apparently, since i'm not quite 18, i'm supposed to have a parent sign saying i can come. it's dumb since i will be in a few months, but is ultimately not the problem. no where in the sign in process does it state this WHATSOEVER, and the only sign posted was stating children under 13 must be accompanied. so i wasted my morning and my gas, to only just be told this. not to mention it was brought to my attention in a very rude way. the lady had so much attitude for no reason and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience and just glared at me until i walked out. reading the other 1 star reviews on here i see a lot of people have issues with the rude staff here.
i will likely be canceling my membership as i do not want to go to a place with such rude staff and lack of communication on their policies.

My friend has a membership here, she took me with her last week, as the black card members can bring a friend. I loved it and wanted to get a membership, before leaving we had an issue with one of the staff members, her name was Genevieve she was very rude after only a few minutes of seeing how she was handling the situation I knew that this wasn't the gym for me. I encouraged my friend to cancel her membership. We're currently looking into other gyms in the area.

I recently joined Planet Fitness and couldn't be happier with it. I mainly go to the Brunswick location. It is clean, friendly, and welcoming. Giovanna, one of the managers, is a pleasure to work with. She is friendly and genuinely interested in the entire experience for the clients. We went tonight and she was working at the front counter as well as a young man. Both were simply exceptional. The vibe they all give off makes me want to go back sooner than later. Judging by the reviews, it seems like the people's main issue is the professionalism of the staff. Luckily for my wife and myself, we do not have those issues because we only come to the gym to work out. One of our main issues for why we stopped coming to the gym is because of cleanliness. The floors of the gym look like it hardly sees a broom. Alot of long strands of shedded hair on the floor makes it very uncomfortable and uneasy to do any exercises that include mats or floor work in general. It's disgusting to say the least. My wife and I can't even do Cardio or Abdominal exercises without being covered in hair. If the floors of the gym was swept on a constant basis, maybe my wife and I would consider getting our membership back.

Ya went here a few weeks ago, late for the review but I didn’t forget. As soon as me and my fiancé walked in, a female and male at the counter were just staring awkwardly at me and I felt very judged. They didn’t greet properly and weren’t professional. I drove almost 20 minutes to sign up to get told “it’s easier if you to use our app and sign up yourself”. Are you telling me I just drove 20 min to sign up just to get told that I should sign up online because it’s MORE convenient for you? I drove home with tears in my eyes. That specific day was not the greatest for me, and that whole situation didn’t help. Work on not judging with looks and actually being professional whether it’s convenient or not. I wish I would’ve gotten their names to report. The most I remember is the guy talked a bit feminine, no hate but that’s the only thing I remember to maybe help identify who it was. Don’t come here. It’s not judge free like it use to be. They gave me the “nobody cares unless you pretty, popular, or dying” vibes.

I've been coming to this gym for years. Back in 2018 a woman was stalking me for some guy I broke up with and refused to get back with. She literally chased me outta the gym one day. I talked to the staff and they claimed they didn't have cameras nor saw anything excessive. I had to get a temporary protection order against her. Ever since then the woman stopped coming to the gym, her and 3 other people came to my HOME and assaulted me. the staff now tries to force me to make eye contact with them by excessively greeting me every time I walk in the door and leave. I just wanna work out and try to get my life back together from the trauma I endured, not deal with more.

I’m in town for a little bit to visit family and I came in 7am Friday morning and Saturday morning. I was immediately greeted and welcomed by the two front desk girls. There's a very large parking lot, so you'll have no trouble finding a spot. Also, this Planet Fitness is positioned in way where you get a nice view of the sunset at dusk! Just sit behind the McDonald's. Otherwise, nice gym with adequate space inside.

They have limited their hours and it is not longer feasible for me to come. When I tried to cancel and get the last month refunded because I haven't been there in months because of their reduced hours, the general manager C messaged me and pretty much told me that I'll never get it back. I had no problems with the place and would have started my membership again once they resumed full hours, but C was so rude that now I'll never be back. So instead of making a lot of money off of me, she took an extremely short term gain instead. Just sad.
