The Chillicothe, Ohio Planet Fitness is hands down the best I've been to since having the black card membership. Clean, lots of equipment, friendly staff that takes pride in their work, and it's easy to schedule tanning and massage/hydro chairs as a patron when we walk in around our workout schedule.

I travel the country and go to a lot of gyms and this is one of the best I've ever been to. They have great equipment which is well-maintained and clean. It is very spacious with a lot of room. My only request would be that they would get a true stretch cage.

A large Planet Fitness with all the usual things. Shower was hot and locker room was clean. Hydro massage was not working exactly right, lots of dead spots. Could definitely smell the weed when we walked in, and one employee had so much perfume on it was suffocating, but everyone was nice and the music was good.

Was on vacation and as I usually do go looking for a local gym. This Planet Fitness was the closest so I stopped in. I asked for a day pass and the guy behind the counter said it’s gonna be $22 is that a problem? I had already driven 30 minutes so I said it’s not a problem. I also asked if the increase was new to 2025 and got no response. After I left I looked up the membership price which was $15. Why he didn’t offer me that first is beyond me. Counted it as a loss and drive 30 minutes the opposite direction the next day to find a nice local gym that only charged me $5 for a day pass. Such a shame Planet Fitness will continue to lose business with this type of customer service.

Do not go here if you are serious about making healthy changes mentally and physically you will not find it here at this location. The schedule first off is an absolute joke. You pay for 24 hour access but it's only valid 3 days a week or whenever the staff decide they don't want to be open. Speaking of staff. If you enjoy second hand smoke or vaping this is the place for you. Not only do the staff smoke in view of everyone but they could care less about any problems or inconveniences you have. So many times have I shown up after taking my supplements only to find out they are closed for no reason at all. I have been a dedicated member for over 2 years and in that time frame I have see the standards and customer respect decline rapidly. I would encourage anyone to find something more local or at least anytime fitness down the road which is the same price and private. Also 24/7 access. Extremely disappointed. I hardly every write reviews but I really hope this helps someone who's genuinely trying to make a healthy lifestyle change.

First time working out at this PF location.
The gym layout is great. There are plenty of equipment and cardio machines. Locker is little small but it’s not bad. This facility is pretty clean and employees are friendly.

Let’s talk about how I went into the Gym to go tan like I do EVERY single day. The manager there Maddy and I used to have problems back in the day so while I was tanning proceeds to cancel my gym membership just because of the fact that her Boyfriend used to try to text me. GET BETTER MANAGEMENT!!!!

The gym itself is just like any other. The staff however are quite unbearable. If you go in within an hour of close they make comments like " you know were closing soon right?" Or they give you dirty looks. That's if you can even get in. Went here recently and they had the doors locked from the outside 30 mins before close. Guess I'll have to cancel my membership and take my business to Anytime.

Planet fitness has always been great to me since I've been a member at times I can be challenging to deal with but never once at least I can state this for my home club have I ever felt like I wasn't a valued member . I miss Sarah as a general manager but her predecessor Maddie has been a great add to their management team and has always been polite professional and went beyond the required distance to help keep me a member .
Tonight I had a chance to meet Billy a team member who works at the Chillicothe location. Very professional very helpful and adamant about keeping the facility clean was in my opinion a great employee willing to do the what it takes to keep members a priority.
Thanks again planet fitness for surpassing every expectation and being there for me as a member

It was not a good fit for myself or my sister. We both canceled the same day without talking to one another first. We ran into each other afterward. Both of us had similar experiences, and neither were good ones. Hope with the new management there will be more positive vibes to maybe come to one day. Best for your Black Card needs. Tanning there is awesome. They have your stand up or lay down tanning beds for whichever you prefer. Both the hydro and standard massage chairs are great for a nice unwind and recover after a workout. Plus with Black Card Membership, you can bring a guest to work out with. Highly recommend joining.

I can go whenever I want and not a single other member cares what you're doing. In a good way. Great options for cardio or muscle building as well. The facility is clean and doesn't smell (not sure how they manage that). The locker rooms, at least the men's, are spacious and offer showers and private changing areas. Best gym I've ever been to.

Tanning booth has been broken and room was up to 130 degrees. Another visit in told that the other stand-up booth was broken also. Every visit, the rooms are incredibly hot and uncomfortable. And yes, I was very angry when I signed in to tan and I had over an HOUR WAIT (that wasn't the issue) BUT...I was told I was not allowed to leave the building or I would be removed! Wth? I can't shop next door or grab a bite to eat???? Not cool! I do not like feeling trapped in one space with little seating n lots of people and I have diagnoses to support that. Shame on you for these ridiculous rules!
