I’ve been to plenty of Planet Fitness locations and usually enjoy the consistency — clean spaces, friendly staff, and that welcoming “judgment-free” feel. Unfortunately, this visit fell short.

When I walked in, there were several staff members behind the counter talking among themselves. No greeting, no acknowledgment — it didn’t feel like the warm environment I’ve come to expect.

I went to use one of the massage chairs, but the room had a strong odor that lingered the entire time. It made the experience far from relaxing, because I couldn’t stop wondering where the smell was coming from — the chair, the room, or something else. When I left the massage area, I realized the odor carried into the main gym as well.

This location has potential, but cleanliness and atmosphere are just as important as the equipment. A little attention to those basics, plus more engaged front-desk service, would go a long way toward restoring the Planet Fitness standard here.

I can here after a negative experience at a different fitness center. Layla at the front desk and the assistant manager Rebecca were both very pleasant and helpful. They gave me a tour of the facility and had much better customer service skills than the previous location they helped to navigate the app and signing up, and answered my questions about the membership fee and dues.

If you want to just do the 30min circuit don't bother. There is always people just taking up the equipment in that area not doing the circuit so it's impossible to actually follow the circuit. This is my home gym but this has been an issue every single time I come even at other PF locations. I have never once seen anyone be asked to leave the circuit area even though the sign says it's monitored for this reason.

Funny how you guys want to be helpful now that I’m leaving negative reviews on google and social media but beforehand it was IMPOSSIBLE to cancel your membership without going in person or mailing a letter. You didn’t care when I tried to explain I had no way to do either now but a bit of bad publicity and there’s suddenly a way. Crazy how that works. Y’all are gross. Cancel my membership or don’t. I already updated my payment info to an old account that has no money linked to it. You will not see another penny of my money. I tried being reasonable but you’re too money hungry. I loved this place to randomly go to after work however after a while the foreigners gang up and are very stingy with dumbbells and take so long using other machines, when you ask them nice could you do it they extend their time. The front desk doesn’t do anything. I’d rather go to another location before things get out of hand Probably won’t be back to this location..you’ll see for yourself.. be prepared for selfish people and lots of entitled people. Not one of the worst planet fitness’s I’ve been too, the workers are all very friendly and welcoming. The only issue is when this location is busy it is very difficult to find an open bench or smith machine. They have roughly 6 benches and 6 smith machines. Let me start by saying that as a member of LA Fitness and now Planet Fitness. You guys have nothing to envy LA fitness. Very nice and clean facility, many amenities, great customer service. Staff super welcoming. I have to Gym memberships because I travel a lot for work and some gyms are not as close as to were I work. So this way keeps my options open. Perfect example I went to Escorta Fitness cause thats what its in-the area for LAF partners (🤦🏼‍♂️) and the place wash trash , sorry to say it like that but it was. Also, after visiting other PF’s, Tri County has newer machines- that I LOVE! Maybe I’m just used to their machines but much prefer them over Fairfield & Finneytown (sorry- could be personal preference). PF isn't so bad. It's about what you do to make it really work. But not one is 24hrs in cincinnati. I mean every day 24 hr. I drive, and literally, every state I've been to that isn't my home state, has an every day 24hr planet fitness. So it's a slap in the face that when I'm home on the weekends, I can't do my normal time. So I'm stuck with people that waist space on their phones during earlier hours. Which is upsetting because I go for me. Not to show everyone else to get approval when you're making no progress. For the sake of saying you went. Lol. Yes, that was a lot, but still true. I would like a refund for a full month. I got an email stating that tri county gym would reopen on June 12th. I drove all the way there to have a sign on the door that it won't reopen until june19th. I never got a email telling me that. I had to drive waste my time and gas to realized it still was not open. I have not been able to work out in weeks because of the gym being closed. The gym has been closed for about 22 days now. this is the only gym I go to all the other locations are too far.

Incompetent staff. Have tried for days/hours to reset my password on the website. Was told to call my local club. Got the run around when I mentioned canceling my membership. I requested a phone number or email to contact a Regional manager and was told that it would be at least 12 hours for a reply. When I challenged that answer a "Regional" got on the phone who "just happened to be in the building" and reset my password. I would rate them a zero if I could.

Sitting here right now this morning it's 718am the gym says it's suppose to open at 7am. There's 2 older gentlemen here as well. One is with a Cane standing outside we are all waiting on them to open the door. There's also another young gentlemen here and another just pulled up. There's no workers here no one to open the door. I joined PF because it was near my work but because of Covid I had to start working from home. The club is an hour away from my house. Staff would not let me cancel by phone but insisted I drive one hour to the nearest PF to cancel or writie a letter and sending it snail mail. I suggested giving me an email address i can email my signed letter to but they refused. This day and age this cancellation policy is ridiculous and they are just trying to make it difficult for people. What does it matter if you get a letter from the post office or from an email? It’s the same thing. You just want people to waste their time by going to the post office to buy a stamp and mail a letter. Nobody does that anymore it’s the 21at century. . You let us sign up online but you don’t. want to let us cancel online? I would have rejoined once my work let us come back but now I won’t join again. Stuff like this makes me mad. I will just go to another gym there are plenty to choose from because also the staff was totally rude when i called.

The last time I wrote a review on this location, it wasn’t under good management. Most recently I visited for the first time in about 3 months. I had the pleasure of speaking with Luke and Mark and was so pleased to see someone with the people skills in there to actually make it’s members feel welcome. They are a great addition to the Planet Fitness Team. Please make sure to take good care of these two and keep them happy so they don’t leave. These two make you want to come back, the atmosphere is literally the best it has been in a good 2 years.
