Love the gym and folks that work there are always very nice but not everyone loves hip hop or any kind of music playing so loud you cant think. The general manager was very disrespectful, dismissive and out of touch with reality. He does not concern himself with the safety of members. Corporate is taking WEEKS to get back to me over this serious safety concern. This is unacceptable behavior and conduct from management especially. Only giving one star because I can't give zero.

This "gym" DOES NOT want to see you grow and get stronger. Once you have a need for things like a weightlifting belt or a bar jack to load barbells on the floor for deadlifts, one of the Planet Fitness drones will come to you and complain about having things on the gym floor.

A manager by the name of Joshua approached me with these complaints. I ask him "How do you expect me to load a barbell on the floor without this equipment?"

It's just policy.

Can a barbell be loaded on the floor without a bar jack? Absolutely. But I'd rather save my energy for the lift itself and not waste it loading a bar.

Because Joshua does not possess any brain power or the capability for critical thought to recognize a legitimate need for this gear, I immediately cancelled my membership at Planet Fitness and signed up at Crunch. Crunch has no compunctions against me bringing simple lift aid devices onto the workout floor.

Planet Fitness? More like Planet Pretend. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

This gym has stolen over $1500 from my bank account over a 5 year period. I filled out the paperwork to end my membership and they kept charging me. After calling they said they do not have the records anymore. This is theft. I would not sign a contract here because this seems to be very common.
Here to update, after contacting different levels of management and being told because we don't have a piece of paper that they lost track of we are getting 5 years worth of fees stolen. Well were now taking them to small claims. Look at other 1 star reviews on here. THIS IS A LEGIT SCAM

Beware of your cancellation process with Planet Fitness, make sure you get it in writing that you have cancelled. I personally know people that have cancelled membership and still accrued a bill each month, thinking they are canceled just to be surprised later to find out it had not been. Get it in writing! I had a similar issue myself. It’s long been handled but stay diligent with every step when canceling membership.

Terrible experience!!

The staff members are terribly rude. One day, we came it at 8 and they took 45 minutes to get us into the tanning beds and when we came out they said that we shouldn’t come 5 minutes before close…we came in an hour before. Also, somehow they mixed my picture up with another person but are blaming me? Fix your system!!??? They sit around doing nothing at the desk everytime I am there.

They need to find a whole new staff because it’s any time i go. Thank Goodness i have a black pass and go to Milford.. so much better!! and better staff!!

My wife and I visit four Planet Fitness facilities, two in Cincinnati and two in Florida. We would like to say that the Planet Fitness facility at Eastgate in Clermont County, Ohio is by far the cleanest and best maintained facility. The equipment is very well serviced and any problems are quickly fixed.

I absolutely love coming to this gym. The staff is so welcoming and friendly! Every time you walk through the door they greet you with a smile and always seem to enjoy their jobs. When you leave they always tell you to have a great day/night and make you feel appreciated as a customer. I wish I would have joined sooner! Nice gym! However, I do wish that the male employees would not put their "man in woman's locker room" sign up for hours. I understand that a man may have to clean the women's locker room, but they shouldn't have access, for hours to just walk in, unannounced. I have worked out for a couple of hours the last two nights, and the sign is up the whole I'm time that I am here. He may go in once or twice, unannounced, and it happens to be when I'm getting in the shower. Can they please announce themselves, and not just think that the sign being there for hours is sufficient for them to just walk in at their leisure?

TOO SMALL OF A FACIKITY, NOT ENOUGH SPACE FOR THE DEMAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thrre’s not enough space for free weights, stretching, singular workouts or any space to be alone and away from people at all. They only have 1 tiny room for all those activities. They need to get rid of the whole room full of machines for the “30 minute workouts” because NOBODY USES IT, ITS WASTED SPACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They don’t have enough equipment to supplement their busy hours OR enough attachments to be used for multiple reasons (not just the machines). The air conditioning is always on, even in the winter. Good luck even working up a sweat. They move around equipment + machines that makes the space even SMALLER than it already is and they add new equipment that isn’t needed nor wanted. The adult or college employees that work there are miserable and rude, I prefer the high schoolers in the summer. -0 for me.

My biggest issue is not with the gym. The equipment is good and I would say I generally have a great experience. My biggest problem is with other members! People need to put down their stupid phones and do the exercises instead of just parking their butts on the machines. It takes everything I have to not go over and take phones out of peoples hands and instruct them on the use of the machine versus just sitting there. I will do three sets on two different machines waiting for a third machine while someone is sitting there having set up camp. I don’t feel like we need the people who work there to walk around and police because that’s insulting! But someone really does need to have a discussion with new members that they need to get off their phone do their set and get the heck off. One day, another lady and I who were watching four different young girls on the abductor/adductor machines.. all on their phones. No one actually using the machines. she and I were about ready to lose our mind. We looked at each other inside. OK it’s time to say something and ask the young girls to either finish their sets or get their butts off the machine. They looked at us like we had three heads.

I'm a Black Card member, travel often, and visit PFs all over the country. I can say, without a doubt, this is one of the best PFs I've been to, and it is definitely the best managed PF I've been too. The GM Destiny is respectful and professional, and she trains all of her folks to act in kind. She's incredibly hardworking, often working side-by-side with her staff in all the many cleaning activities that must take place to keep the gym clean. Facilities are generally clean and machines in good condition. My one complaint which takes it from 5 stars to 1 star is that it's not a 24 hour gym which practically every major chain gym used to be. I only found out that they were closed because I wanted to do a late night workout on a Friday. Completely and utterly unacceptable as a business policy, especially now that the pandemic is over and has been for 2 years. I will be looking at other gyms with memberships which fully respect their customers time and money.

I was a little leary about joining a gym, because I haven't been in one In a few years.(due to injuries). The gyms I used to go to in the army was very intense, but at that time I could handle it. This gym is very clean, and is great at keeping the equipment up to date. However, I’d love to see the personable staff the people in these reviews are talking about. I go in at different times during different days (and have been a member for a few years) and there’s never a “Hi” or “see ya later” unless it’s coming from me to them. It goes unanswered - they’re too busy talking amongst themselves. It’s nice for this PF to overstaff so the workers always have someone to carry on a conversation with - wouldn’t want them to actually speak to any of the members. Anytime I’ve had to go up to the desk to ask for help or ask a question, I’ve had to wait for THEM to be done speaking to each other. Cool 👍

I just called in to freeze my membership temporarily because I’ve just had surgery and won’t be able to use it for a couple of months. They said there is no way to do it over the phone and that I have to come in. AFTER HAVING SURGERY. The fact that they also ask for a doctor’s note is mind boggling. I have never been here before, but was pleasantly surprised on how well this gym is ran. Immediately when I walked in the gym, I told them I had never been to this location and they offered me a tour! I quickly learned where everything was and began my routine. First off I want to say I love this Planet Fitness. I have been working out here for over 5 years. Sometimes I like to bounce around to different ones in the area and always end up back home to Eastgate. Its clean and the staff are always friendly. I do however have some feedback since the recent remodel. There are literally no weights in the CrossFit area anymore. They all got moved up to the upper level. There are now more weights up there than people can even fit to use all of them. Please give us our weight tower back in the CrossFit area. We also miss our Arc trainers with the arms.

Great facility! As a visitor from Florida, i felt very welcome and comfortable at this gym. Always greeted when I arrived, Emily filled me in and answered all my questions as a visitor. Loved set up of gym, liked how on the cardio you could plug into TV on the equipment or use your phone. Came in this morning for the first time to this location. My home gym is Milford, but moved to eastgate. The front desk girl went out of her way to say how many days it’s been since I’ve been to a PF and said “wow that’s a long time”. For a place that capitalizes on JUDGEMENT FREE, I’ve very turned off by my encounter. Just a quick review here…..I’ve been a member at the Eastgate Planet Fitness nearly 10 years. I have never visited a cleaner gym. The staff vacuums and mops and wipes down the equipment ALL day long. When I have questions about my work out or some new ache or pain, they are quick to offer help and/or advice. Planet fitness has to be the best bargain in health care in America!! Was 5 stars, after getting a bacterial infection all over my skin from their tanning beds not being cleaned thoroughly I will NEVER be back. If you are using the membership just to tan it’s worth it to take your business to a reputable tanning salon.

It's Friday 12/23/22 and it says online that you are open but no one is answering the phone ? What is happening to Planet Fitness? Why are there no employees there on this date I hope it's not because they are afraid of a little snow......wow this place never closed before and now after COVID came around they hired a bunch of lazy people that don't want to work.....who is afraid of a little snow it makes no sense to me and then to top it all off they raise the black card fee monthly and want people to upgrade please bring back the old Planet Fitness PLEASE!!!!

I have been trying for years to cancel my membership from this exact PF location. I moved away back in 2017 and have called and sent letters and nothing. Every time I call they say I have to send a letter. But it never seems to work when I do send the notice. WHAT ELSE CAN I DO!!! Look at your records. You will see I haven’t been in a PF since then. Idk anymore. Guess it’s time to ask for help from other areas since I’m spending money on something I’ve tried to stop. How much does that add up to over the years
