Back at another planet fitness years later to save money on gym membership costs and have access to more gym time. Air quality was over 1500, which is disappointing but not surprising given the setting. I would recommend increased HEPA air filtration.

I’ve been a loyal Planet Fitness member at this Lorain Ave. and Fulton ave. location for over 4 years, with multiple memberships for my family as well. Unfortunately, today will be our last day here.

While the location itself is very convenient, the experience has been disappointing due to poor staffing. Security feels like an afterthought – nearly every week, I hear from friends about belongings being stolen from cars or lockers. Rather than addressing these security concerns, staff seem more focused on trivial matters, like managing where motorcycles and bikes park. It’s confusing and concerning to see non-members freely walking in, as if anyone can access the facility.

The management here has also been challenging. I’ve personally found the team inconsistent and difficult to work with, and it seems that under the direction of the manager, Megan, customer service has taken a back seat. This experience has led me to start looking elsewhere for a gym that values its members’ safety and satisfaction!!!

One of the great things about this planet fitness is the employee, Monica. She has a great personality and excellent customer service skills. She's very helpful and very knowledgeable. She's able to multitask and deal with multiple people at the same time while still being friendly and polite. She greets you with a hello and a smile as you enter the facility and wishes you a nice day when you leave. She is a truly a great team player. It's good to encounter people like her when you're having a bad day. Keep up the good work Monica.

I've been a Planet Fitness member for several years now. Lorenzo at this location made my day while I was visiting Cleveland. He's friendly, energetic, polite, and very professional.

To the management of this location, you are fortunate to have hired this gentleman.

Brought up safety issue to supervisor, I was told she could get in trouble for fixing the problem. Two treadmills touching (and there are others too), person next to me inclines treadmill enough that if I place my hand on the rail my fingers can be crushed if the other treadmill’s incline is reduced. How will I relay what is happening to the other user? What if I fall off my moving treadmill, what if my fingers are crushed?
Supervisor said she can get in trouble for moving treadmills safely apart. She will bring it up to the general manager.
If there’s a fire, I hope she calls the fire department first and then brings it up to the general manager later! Frustrated that management lacks common sense.

Just wanted to flag an issue—your staff has been using a damaged vacuum that makes an extremely loud, harsh noise. It’s disruptive to workouts and raises real concerns about hearing safety for both employees and members.

This is the worst planet fitness I’ve ever attended. They are never open on time. People have things to do and this is so unprofessional. Employees should be reprimanded for poor work ethic. This is insane. I hope they make changes quickly if not I’ll be unsubscribing and hopefully I create a chain of customers to do the same and get this place shut down. This gym recently added three new pieces of equipment. That's great. But in doing so they changed the layout slightly, and now the very well used dumbbell area is even smaller, crammed into the back west side corner of the gym. Meanwhile in the back east side corner they have a large area just to use mats. Really? Way more people use the dumbbells than the mats. And if anybody at corporate PF thinks otherwise they are misinformed. The also proceeded to move the barbell rack far away from the dumbbells area, where the benches are, so if you need a bench for your barbell exercise you need carry the barbell back to the area it originally was weeks ago. Though this location is closer, I will be going out of my way to go to Snow Rd location where the space is much better utilized.

This is not my primary gym, but I was on this side of town I thought let me get a tan real fast. The blonde was so kind, then when I went to sign up for Tanning the red head came out no eye contact very short with me stand up or lay down? I said I’m new to ur gym so u have level beds? She said DO YOU WANT LAY DOWN OR STAND UP!!! I said I only ask because of the time I want to be in the bed she replied ur in room 8. Discarded anything I said. Room was clean bed looked dirty it’s ok I carry wipes I cleaned it. I’m moving to this side of town and I’m debating on changing my gym. Do better All Glory TAo God we all have bad days xo

I was a member before and then canceled and when I was about to rejoin I stopped when I noticed that they were asking for my bank account information for the monthly fee. I don't remember this being a requirement before and I don't like it so I won't be joining . It's hard enough canceling gym memberships. I know you would love to charge me everyday for the rest of my life whether that I come in or not but no. I like companies that like and respect me and my money. And honestly my job was going to reimburse me for this anyways so I really wouldn't cost me a thing. it's the principle.

If it was really about customer convenience, preferences, and/or satisfaction it would be an option not a requirement. It's really about people canceling their cards because of, once again, the difficult cancellation process.

I just popped in to get a good leg pump and the process was easy peezy. Signed up on the iPad at the desk and was given 24-hr access to get my lift on. I hit legs and feel great. No membership. No fee. Just a kind customer service token for somebody passing through. I’m a trucker and paying 10 bucks a day to hit the gym in each city I stop at everyday can be a pain in the you know what. So I write this review as a sign of payment and gratitude for the generosity at this location. White girl manager was low key lit in the personality too. 💕

Literally did not look at the annual fee and other bs and I should've. I will NEVER EVER sign up for anything like this or refer anyone to planet fitness. They keep charging me, and I haven't been able to pay it, so I couldn't cancel, and thus am charged more and more every month. Bill is about $150+. This service is absolutely monstrous and I should've heeded the warning when I was told corporate is in the business to make money and step on everyone else to do it.

This place is a rip off, they care more about money than they do about their own screwup. They screwed up my cancellation and then said they were going to proceed to charge me for the next month anyway. Keep this up and I will sue.

Decent equipment it's just annoying that the "crowd meter" is always wildly off. There is rarely ever room to even stretch around the weight area even though the meter shows low attendance. When asked about it the front desk employee just seemed immediately annoyed I was asking the question, mumbled something about people getting off work and then blew it off.

Ok I never saw myself leaving a google review for a random Planet Fitness, but this gym is great. The staff is super friendly, the price is incredible, there are tons of machine and rarely any issues with getting one (at least for cardio- I can't speak for the racks). I've never had an issue with cleanliness, and the one time there was an issue with machines not working the staff was super responsive. Overall great vibes and a really nice price point. There's nothing scammy about their policies, too, which is nice-- when I had to move out of the area they let me cancel easily without any weird charges or runaround.

Coming up on three months, if not longer, and both the soap dispensers in the men’s room are broken /always out of soap. For a place that’s a breeding ground for germs and illness (shared equipment, and many people not washing their hands after using facilities) for the love of god please fix this. Forget the germs part, it’s just a basic business courtesy to have a way to wash your hands no matter what the occasion.

Busy, busy, BUSY between 4 pm and 8 pm. Time your visit accordingly. The weight bench station isn’t extremely roomy so you might be finding your own makeshift training area. They have most, if not all, of what you need to get the job done. I live in Atlanta but when I visit Cleveland, this is the gym I frequent. Pretty great staff and it’s clean. Would definitely recommend.
