Terrible place to lift. Twice I have been asked to leave because I had my gym bag with me on the floor. That’s not allowed, but you can just lay your other crap all over the place, people can trip on it, whatever else and that is fine. But if you have a bag that keeps everything contained out of the way you get asked to leave. Workers were very rude. I would venture the guest that not one single worker actually uses the facility. And that’s how they want to treat people.

I'm so grateful to have such a nice gym in Delaware. It has every machine I need and is never too crowded, so I'm always able to get my workout in. They do a great job keeping things tidy and the staff is always helpful and courteous. Still has a "small town" friendliness to it despite being a chain gym.

I would give 5 star if the water didn't taste like chlorine. The equipment and staff is great but I have a hard time drinking the water. I bring water but it would be nice to refill the bottle with water that doesn't taste like it should be in a swiming pool.

The customer service here is truly outstanding! One of my AirPods fell into the StairMaster, and the staff went above and beyond to help me retrieve it. Do not recommend this PF. Was asked to leave because I had my gym bag backpack with me on the floor. I carry bands and different attachments that most gyms do not have. Mind you that there was 3-4 other people with their bags by them, but I was asked to put it in the locker room. I politely declined, then was asked to leave. Completely out of the way, tucked beside me. Canceled membership. Don't approach me in the middle of a set for some dumb shit. Very rude and idiotic workers.

Great gym on the inside been coming here for about 3-4 years but recently the staff has been giving me lots of troubles. They constantly come up to us saying we are doing something wrong or being too loud. We are in here like everybody else trying to workout. it gets quite annoying when it feels like the staff is “targeting” you every time you come in. Will be moving gyms because it seems to happen every time we come in, but other than that good gym with good equipment.

I've been going to this Planet Fitness for a while now, and I can't say enough good things about it. The staff is amazing — they actually know your name and greet you with a smile every time you walk in. It really makes the gym feel welcoming and personal.

The entire facility is always spotless. You can tell cleanliness is a top priority, which makes working out so much more enjoyable and comfortable.

Nice good place to workout, good people, as for someone from Marysville, this gym offers better hours than some gyms in Marysville! I can’t express the importance of having great hours on the weekends! I like to work out on the weekends when I’m not running errands. Edit * The e-mail I received after I sent the request reply to the e-mail posted in the reply to my review was the generic Social Media Response Team. So I believe the 'owner' is not actually the one replying. I was not looking for an e-mail to file a complaint with PF 'response team'. I was hoping it was the owner or another manager so we could discuss a concession or an arrangement to solve the issue so I could use this gym again. This response has only solidified my desire to find a new gym. *End Edit.

Non-management staff is fantastic and extremely helpful but my encounter with management staff today has required me to cancel my account.

I recently signed up for the Black Card Membership but was told today I owe $90 from a previous account I tried to cancel (but couldn't, was last year and don't recall why I had trouble doing so). That $90 in subscription/late fees for the gym went unused as I had stopped going and tried to cancel. The charges only stopped trying to hit my bank account after 5-6 months of attempts when the bank account was finally closed.

I was told even though the $90 went unused after a failed cancel attempt and their check-in log should, or does, show it did indeed went unused I was still required to pay it to continue my current subscription. I asked the manager doing the paperwork if they are choosing to lose a wanting customer instead of waiving subscriptions fees that went unused due to a failed cancelation and the response was, even though I didn't use it I am still required to pay.

While that is understandable to some degree, PF did not lose $90 worth of any thing in the process of it going unused so I do feel that some sort of arrangement could of been made to keep me as customer without requiring me to pay the unused $90 subscription fees. I am unwilling to pay $90 for something I didn't use, and PF is unwilling to waive or come to some sort of arrangement over the fees to keep me as a customer.

PF will not be getting that $90 from previous unused subscriptions and will now also not get my $27/month black card fee. I had enjoyed all the staff and gym up until this point and had planned to spread my experience through word of mouth to my friends. I will still spread my experience through word of mouth to my friends but it will no longer be that of a positive note and we will be happy to take our business and money else where.

Subject: Music Volume at the Gym

Hi, I kindly ask that you please lower the volume of the music at the gym. I train at 4 a.m., and the music is so loud that it even drowns out what I'm listening to on my headphones. The volume should create an ambient atmosphere, not feel like a nightclub.

I’ve been training at this location for 3 years, and it’s always been like this. I’ve visited several other Planet Fitness gyms while traveling, and none of them have music this loud—only the one here in Delaware, where I live.

I’m giving 5 stars because I believe this is an easy issue to fix. Thank you for your attention!

The Delaware Planet Fitness is one of the best. It is exceptionally clean and well maintained. It has a great balance of treadmills/ellipticals, weight machines, and free weights. Although I would like to see a larger space for the free weights, compared to other PFs, it is a good balance. I chose a Black membership because my wife and I travel in our RV. With the Black membership I didn't miss a workout. Trust me, when it comes to cleanliness and staff, we our very lucky compared to other PFs.

The Delaware PF needs to expand their free weights and benches. During the summer the place is packed with teenagers. Don't get me wrong, I support our youth exercising but since they are more likely to use free weights, the management needs to expand to accommodate them as well as those of us who try to use the free weights.

I will be looking elsewhere if this doesn't improve.

The management listened and a massive overhaul took place. The weight area was expanded and new treadmills and stair stepper equipment was added. This more than enough to accommodate all gym goers. Well done.

As a former YMCA member, this Planet Fitness offers 2 of the same Life Fitness equipment the Y has, plus several additional such as a preacher curl, hip thruster, several additional Ab machines, kickback machine, and their 60 minute room which has all different Life Fitness machines for each body part (several provide a different stretch). Focusing on PF, PF offers 6 premier Life Fitness machines (2 back, 2 chest, 1 shoulder, and 1 ab) that provide a great strength training experience. The cable setup also rivals top gyms. For the value, this PF offers an abundance of free weights and machine options, great hours, and low cost.

I don't know what's wrong with American culture, but even the staffers can't leave my service dogs alone while I work out. Do not talk to service dog or kiss at them. I've been using the PF clubs in Delaware and the one on Polaris. Both are very nice and are comparable to each other. They have large floors with plenty of room and a good selection of equipment. Both clubs are very clean and they appear to be pretty new. The staff at both are outgoing and pleasant.

Although they may not have the variety of equipment available that other gym have, with memberships at $20 and $10 per month, I've not found any other gym that offers the value they do.

I know planet fitness was just another gym, but I didn’t know they had special offers and programs more offering then any other fun I knew. At first, I was going to anytime fitness to do training and workouts to build up my stamina. But once they moved, I cancelled my subscription. Once I found planet fitness, there where many more perks to offer then just training and working out. With the perks and offerings, guaranteed customers will be more pleased and satisfied with the results of the gym and activities that come with a packaged deal. I go in the mornings around 8am and its parking lot is always full but the gym never really feels full or overwhelming.
