Showed up on Friday the day after thanksgiving to work off the food from the day before… checked multiple times before to make sure they would be open… but wouldn’t you know here I am sitting in my car and the place isn’t open…. Sign says 0600 but doors still locked parking lot is packed with cars people waiting to get a workout in but one thing is missing… and that’s the planet fitness worker… and the sad part is this isn’t the first time… come on people let’s do our jobs all you have to do is unlock a door…. Got here at 0555 to maximize our time I have to be somewhere at 0800 and I have been waiting it is now 0624

Best one I've been too in the Dayton area. Tanning beds never have bulbs out, they are also newer beds than the ones at other locations in the area. staff is always very attentive and welcoming and you can't beat the price for everything that's included with the membership

This, right here, is why I quit my old gym and joined Planet Fitness. Eight, operational, clean uprights all in a row and ready to go without having to share the same airspace as your newest best friend. This was taken right before the evening rush, but even when it got busy a short time later, there were enough bikes that you weren’t stacked right on top of the next person and. You could enjoy your “ride” and take time to properly decompress. The same could be said about the other equipment at this gym, but the uprights are my therapy. Great job, PF!

P.S. If you could duplicate this at one of the St. Louis metro area PFs that would be great. 😬

Nice pf for real, clean and well stocked but during the months when they let teenagers workout for free the afternoons are useless unless you want the last available treadmill. Forget lifting. The teens seem to enjoy playing with the weights and taking selfies in the mirrors though. Grown ups or anyone serious about their routine may need to find somewhere else for the summer months.

I've been a member of Planet Fitness for years, although I've been known to get irritated things there (such as no online cancellation option). But as far as Planet Fitness goes, this location is probably the best I've been to. Usually the Smith machines are one of the hardest pieces of equipment to get on because there are only three or four and there's always a line. This one has six and I don't think I've ever had a wait for it. Granted, I go after 10 pm. But the facility is very nice, the employees I've interacted with have all been great. Very nice location. Just don't start going there, because I don't want to wait for equipment.

Jill approached me and demanded that my service dog had a vest or something identifying that he was a service dog. I said by LAW there is no requirements of what you're demanding. She said I'M NOT GONING TO ARGUE WITH YOU, I'LL CALL THE COPS. Attached is a simple breakdown of the requirements established under the ADA Americans with disabilities. It is against ADA to require anything unless the establishment is regulated by federal/state government....... She told me i need to leave because i said im not REQUIRED by law or planet fitness policy. I left came back in with his ID CARD and showed her. Denying a service dog without just cause can result into a fine to the establishment. It would be nice for people like me that you teach your employees the laws and have them not threaten to call law enforcement because they are ignorant and refuse to know MY RIGHTS AS A CUSTOMER AND AS AN ADA participant

I travel for work therefore I see a lot of different PF clubs and this is hands down the best one in the entire PF network. I’ve been going to the Huber location for a few years now and will choose this gym 10/10 times. I’ve known the club manager Jill since I’ve been coming here and she’s always ran a tight ship. Constantly clean facilities accompanied by a friendly and helpful staff.

I’ve been going there for months and this location is spacious and has even added a couple new machines. (one is a hack squat) The atmosphere is inviting from the employees and they clean the equipment often. Legs, Abs, Shoulders, Arms they got it all!

I love planet fitness the whole vibe is good the minute you walk thru the front door. You can do as little or as much of a workout that want. Stay in just the yellow room and warm up. Move to machines finish by walking a couple miles. You did it !😚

I'm not the type of person who usually works out at a Planet Fitness, and I signed up for the Black Card for the tanning and gym access when I am out of town.

I'm a powerlifter, and I tend to like more "hardcore" gyms. Many meatheads who train hard like me don't usually find PF to be a welcoming place.

But, not only is this PF friendly to both meatheads and people who are new to fitness but their equipment is the best equipment I have seen in a PF location.

No, they don't have free weights, squat racks, and monolift, but that's not what PF is for. They do, however, have some of the newest Hammer Strength MTS machines. I actually prefer these to the traditional plate loaded Hammer Strength as they are selectorized and make it easy to do supersets quickly. Their machines are maintained well, and I can hardly remember any of them being out of service.

Everything here is very clean, and the staff is awesome.

The clientele is great too, and almost everyone who trains here observes good gym etiquette, which is something that I don't commonly see at other PF'S.

This is actually a decent gym; lots of equiptment and nice & clean. But everywhere you look there are signs claiming "you belong", "judgment free zone", "no judgments here", etc. Yet, in the midst of it all, they've hung this giant "lunk alarm" which is apparently a lighted siren complete with a sign that openly makes fun of meat-head body builders.

But no judgments here, right? Pot, say hello to kettle. 2 stars for the lunkish, logical inconsistencies and bird-brained hypocrisy that they've officially made their company policy. Quite the lunk move, PF!

Update, 3/25/24, one year later: Just found out that it's Planet Fitness' official company policy to recklessly endanger women and violate their privacy by allowing men to use their restroom and locker room facilities. REAL LUNK MOVE, PF. I am done here. And anybody with women in their lives for whom they care, I urge you to be done with PF too. Vote with your hard-earned money and precious time and take a stand for what's right: the safety and dignity of our wives, mothers, sisters, and daughters. Go somewhere else.

-Staff lets basic gym safety rules slide:
People wear flip flops and other

down weights. 10 and 11 year olds
seem to be allowed to work out.
All in all a good gym with a great price but it seems like there are always 4-6 people behind counter and no employees watching over floor. Strange to me as I worked in many gyms and was a certified personal trainer for ten years at various clubs.

I have been a Black Card Member at PF Englewood Location Since November 2017.
If I could I would give this Huber Heights location 0 stars.
My Membership was cancelled January 4,2024 due to management Jill Perry false claims. All of this can be verified by looking a the camera footage there absolutely no validity to her claims against me. Though out visit she was rude & disrespectful of my nephew, my daughter and myself I did not feel like it was a “no judgment zone.”
On January 4th 2024 went to the Huber Heights Location with my nephew who is a Black Card member also and my Daughter who was a guest & was considering becoming a member. Staff was rude told her she could not use black card amenities then said she could use black car amenities just one visit only. Long story short the manager Jill Perry followed us. My exchange with her and staff was always respectful and kind. PF staff started the Total Body Enhancement for my Daughter after she requested. Jill Perry the manager came to me while I was relaxing in hydro bed area (since no one was in the area) yelling at me stating I was not allowed to have my daughter in the Total Body Enhancement. I did not tell her that her staff started the program and staff also instructed her on how to use it. I just wanted her to stop being rude & get away from her I said okay she calmed down and said thank you. At the completion of my guest Total Body Enhancement program we were putting out hats & coats on the staff at the front desk kept repeating can we help you with something very intimidating as if they just wanted us to leave. I said something joking and smiling to staff and we left. Fast forward I went to my home PF in Englewood the following day and was told my PF Membership Had been Cancelled due to allegations from the Huber Heights PF manager Jill Perry. Where is the fairness in this? False accusations by Jill Perry resulted in Black card membership cancellation that I’v had since 10/2017. I was totally polite & cooperative to her and the staff entire time I was there. My guest and my nephew were totally polite & cooperative. I never violated any rules or policies. See photos below

Bought this membership for my husband to work out and while he is ther he usually gets called out he has to shower and run, well the showers have been down and he has to go into work smelling after a work our. Dr. Perry runs a phenomenal atmosphere. I enjoy getting in my workout routine here. It's a welcoming environment for sure. Other PFs are nice, but this one is different. I feel like family here. JP hires the best people as well. This place is my happy place.

I love our gym. Its clean, the front desk people are always lovely (still learning their names but they are great!), the gym culture at this particular PF is very respectful, people keep to themselves for the most part and getting your workout done doesn't feel like a chore here.

Honestly if I could put a zero star I would. This place is absolutely horrible , the costumer service is worse than any gym I have ever been before . I have a black card membership, and this Huber Heights location is one of two locations that I use regularly. This location is closer to my work, and the Englewood location is closer to my home. I prefer this location because it has more cardio machines and it is easy to distance myself, even at busy times. This location also recently got brand new treadmills and ellipticals, so now I am pretty much only using this location, even when I'm coming from home and the Englewood location would be closer!

The gym is clean, including locker room and restroom. I've never come across anything that I've wanted to use being out of service. I can't really comment on customer service because I tend to come in, scan my card, do my workout, and leave; and I've never had an issue that's needed to be addressed.

Guests in this club do not understand that we are still social distancing, especially on a treadmill where we’re going to be mouth breathing. They get right up on either side of you even though there are plenty of available machines. Also, someone in the ladies, locker room disrobed, and the changing room, left all of her things there, and went in to take a shower, preventing anyone else from being able to use that changing room unless they wanted to move her things. This club has three Hydro lounges, but two of them are out of order. The staff should inform members on their way in, so they have an opportunity to make a reservation. Instead, they say nothing and there is an hour wait to use a Hydro lounge. I’m glad this isn’t the location I normally use.

NOT HAPPY. Signed up in Dec with promo $10 a month cancel anytime! YA Right. Stopped going and wanted to cancel CANNOT do that on app has to be in person! Went to my gym and they are STILL charging me the membership fee + annual fee to cancel 2/17. NEVER got my Fitbit and you CANNOT cancel anytime w/o fees. (Regardless of what every commercial says) NO COMMITMENT MEANS NO PF come on now…….. only if u have $10 a month plan. WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!!!! Side note: always clean when we did go. Best planet fitness in dayton. Friendly staff, always there if you need help. Its a very clean place, the women’s restroom is always clean and if it’s something wrong you can always notify staff and they will fix it. The setup is nice, and makes sense. The tv’s are by the cardio machines because that is usually when people are watching the tv’s. If their equipment is down they always work to get it fixed as quickly as they can. The manager Jill is great and friendly. All the massage chairs and tanning beds work.
