I've never been much of a gym person. Since I started working out here I realized how much I do love going to this gym. It is a judgement free zone, so I am always very comfortable there. They have a lot of machines and multiple machines that are the same. I highly recommend this gym. They have a lot to offer, more than just machines for working out. Tanning, massage, etc. Also, the employees are very kind.

My daughter has worked out at plant fitness for a year and the management yelled at her today for bringing her friend who I pay for the membership which incudes a friend. Do better …I would figure you would support youth who desire to improve themselves not tear them down. Another reason why Planet Fitness is failing.

Shout Out to Sam and the new associate Lexis!

Sam is by far one of the best and most knowledgeable employees I’ve encountered in any industry when it comes to customer service. From the very beginning...back when I was just a guest... Sam made a positive impression. Most recently, Sam absolutely sold us on the Black Card membership by clearly presenting every option and then patiently walking us through each step.

The entire team at this PF deserves kudos. The environment is welcoming, light-hearted, supportive, and always client-focused. I also want to highlight Lexis, who is in training- Sam and the rest of the team supported her with encouragement and guidance in a way that shows how strong their teamwork really is. She was awesome too!

This is hands down the best gym I’ve ever been to... especially staff-wise. The facility itself is up-to-date, clean, and has great features, but it’s the staff that truly makes the difference. Every visit has been a great experience!

I was made to feel very uncomfortable by the young curly headed BOY. He kept following me and asking me if I wanted to be super strong like he is. However, he's a baby. This is a nice PF. The staff are kind and helpful. The gym is clean. The only downside is the tanning beds smell like a ball pit full of shoes. I would suggest a stand up. Otherwise a good location! Would chose this one over Pickerington any day.

Gym is absolutely perfect to the extent it can be. The price is unbelievably low and the staff is awesome. I recommend this to anyone that wants a new gym or to tan, hell they even have a massage bed and red light therapy in their spa. Great place to work out. Great people. Oh, and they sell beverages for cheap, especially if you have the black card plan. It cost a little more but worth it on epic levels. Their beds to tan say level 2 but my wife tells me that in her old tanning place, they were level 3 of 4 because of the wattage it uses. I believe they are 20 and the lower bed they have is 16, but don't quote me on that. I'm pretty sure though. I recommend this establishment 100%, no questions asked.

This club charged one of my cards that I didn’t even have in file the past 2 months automatically without my permission. I never signed up for the auto payment option. I called the club to ask them about it and they said I haven’t been charged for 2 months now. This is crazy. I attached a picture of the payment they took out for proof that they did actually charge my card.

I loved the machines and how everyone was non-judgmental, but the customer service was awful, the employees gave a bad attitude toward everything and every question I asked. They also insulted my intelligence by treating me like I’m dumb whenever I asked a question. Other than that, it’s a pretty nice place to work out, but seriously, the employees need to be put in line.

Overall planet fitness is excellent. It gets a little crowded at times but that's any gym you frequent. There's plenty of equipment for the most part. Kinda wish they went a lil higher in weight with the dumbbells. The Lancaster gym maxes out with 75lb dumbbells. Other than that I can't complain. For around $26 a month after taxes, you get the VIP membership. With everything they have to offer like, Hydro massage bed, mechanical massage chairs, vitamin D total body enhancement bed, tanning beds, free weights, tread mills, elliptical machines, bicycles, Hammer strength, Smith machines, 30 minute workout room and much more. They also have different machines with adjustable weights to cover every muscle group. Very friendly staff as well. Nice friendly environment period!

I have been a member at the Lancaster Gym for over a year .I just recently was diagnosed with osteoporosis so I canceled my membership the next day I seen where the annual fee came out of my checking account so I call and ask to have the money put back in my account and was told that would not happen I wasn't asking or even saying anything about playing a black membership fee and never going I just wanted that annual fee back seeing how I will not be going there at all this year either I guess they need the money worse then me I give this place 20 thumbs down

Went in and told member I needed a membership that would let my kids of 9 and 13 to come with me. He told me which one to sign up for, and I did. Imagine my surprise when I go in the next day and they tell me my 9 year old wasn't allowed in the gym. I think this is bull and they would be getting money from me.

Gym is generally clean, it's cheap and has a variety of equipment... however, it is very often too busy to be able to go in and get your work done in a reasonable amount of time. I can understand the typically busy afternoons or early mornings around 5-7am... but it's now always packed, regardless if the app only says it's at 10% capacity. Who has time to come to the gym to stand there and wait for equipment to become free?

There are not enough smith and pulley machines, especially with many members occupying them in small groups and spending the time socializing.

If you intend to go during the late nights, it's fantastic... except they close at 9PM Fridays and Saturdays. Why?

If you are a parent looking to dump your kid off somewhere for some hours, this is apparently the place to be. Any adult should consider if it's worth your time. Consider Hall of Heroes in the same plaza or building your own home gym!

This is one of the better locations IMO. They have lots of accessory equipment (bands, ankle straps, bar cover for hip thrusts). I can almost always get to the equipment I need without little wait time. When I’m there I see the staff members cleaning and running training sessions every time. I was a planet fitness member for almost two years. Here is why I will never go back and I will tell everyone to stay away...

I had issues with their extremely loud techno music they played. I asked if they could turn it down several times and they said no. I ended up finding a new gym that had a better atmosphere. No big deal... Until I went in to cancel my planet fitness membership.

They told me that I had to be charged for another month because I didn't give a 10 day notice. That was bothersome but I brushed it off and signed the paper saying I would pay. Again, bad for business but whatever...What happened next was what got me.

They proceeded to tell me I had to pay a $80 cancellation fee. They tried to get me to sign that I would agree to pay that and I refused. No one should have to pay Over $100 to leave a gym.

Now, instead of me possibly not enjoying my new gym and coming back to planet fitness. I will make it my mission to warn every person I meet about their poor business practices! BUYER BEWARE!! GO ELSEWHERE!!

Nice staff but the blaring loud music is annoying as all else. I asked them to turn it down but according to them, they can’t turn it down. Sick of hearing cardi b while I’ve got my audio book in my headphones volume on MAX making me deaf. I make it a point to pick machines away from the speakers. Decent location the staff is always super nice. The smith machines need maintenance. All 4 feel different and some feel like they’re “lagging”. The smith machines at other planet fitness locations feel so much smoother and not as jerky. Also seem to be lacking some machine options that other locations have. Some machines will be out of order for ~2 weeks or more which is a bummer.

I love this place. It's clean, and the staff members are very friendly and attentive. The gym is spacious and very clean.

They have pretty much every machine I need, and they have more StairMasters than the ones in Canal Winchester and Pickerington. And it's way more clean and spacious than those locations, especially the canal one.

They are open a lot as well.

I know some people say Planet Fitness isn't a real gym (the people who have told me this don't even go to their "real" gym), but I go there almost daily to use the StairMaster, row, and lift, and it costs me less than a dollar a day. It's a great deal.

They insisted on 2 account numbers for my 3 year old membership after i changed banks. In less than one month my annual fees as well as my monthly membership, were taken out of both accounts, that is 132.00 that was taken out. They insist that it is my banks fault,.and will do nothing to help. After talking to my bank for an hour I was told that the money was taken out at different times meaning it was sent through BOTH accounts.

I can't say much about this place during the daytime because I'm a night owl, but I love my late night visits! It usually isn't too crowded so there's almost no wait to use any equipment. The late night people tend to keep to themselves so you're less likely to run into gym creeps, which is always a plus.

The staff keeps an eye on things and always make sure the paper towels and sanitary sprayers are full, and are usually available to help with any requests or help you need. I definitely recommend this place if you work a nontraditional schedule!

The gym equipment and tanning bed are fine. But of the two massage chairs, one only works half right. Its been malfunctioning for at least 3 weeks. I've mentioned this to the front desk twice. More ironic? They keep putting me and other members in it. Does management not tell other staffers that its working improperly?
