A lot of people dis plant fitness but for me it gets the job done. I gave a 4 star and that is there is room for improvement and I would like to see different chest press machines and squat machines. Like hack squat machines and leverage bench press machine. I have seen some planet fitness locations are getting theses similar changes but as for the Marietta OH location nothing yet. I hope that one day this happens.

I used to get on equipment before becoming disabled. I still kept my membership in hopes of being able to exercise again and to still feel comfortable coming around.
I have never felt anything other than welcome at the Marietta location. My disability has alienated me from so many aspects of life but oddly enough the gym isn't one of them.

Had a membership before, but due to unforseen circumstances, had to call , and cancel my membership for awhile, and now the timing was good for me to renew my membership, so I did online, buy when I came in to tan, and workout, they are wanting me to also pay for 2 months of membership of which I had canceled, and hadn't used their jym! Guess no one canceled it when I had called in! Don't feel like I should have to pay that! Not my fault someone didn't do their job! Definitely calling manager tomorrow!!! Not happy at all!

Was forced to fill out a sheet when I arrived detailing information including my home gym and why I'm at this one instead. Made me feel extremely unwelcome at this location. Having visited dozens of locations during my travels this is the first one I faced this at.

Then at the end when I signed up for a massage chair, I got back there to find their chairs take coins and I was given none. I went back up front to ask for coins but all 3 employees had disappeared. Went back to the massage chairs to see if it would start on its own. It hadn't after waiting for a minute so I went back up front looking for staff. Still no staff to be found. After waiting several minutes for staff I went back to the massage chairs to gather my belongings and found the massage chair had started automatically after all and was halfway through my massage.

The facility was clean and stocked but customer interaction was less than a zero.

I LOVE planet fitness in marietta because the whole staff is very friendly! When I walk in I am always greeted very kindly and they all make everyone feel so welcome!! The gym itself is perfectly fine for our area and the amount of people that go there, but the hours??!!!!!! Why do you all close at 9:00 p.m.? Why aren't you open till 7:00 a.m. on the weekends?

Leaving 1 star because I pay for a 24 hr gym and this one closes a t 9pm. Right when I get off work and want to go. I travel all over and this is the only one that closes during the week that I've experienced. I see the owner boasting about being a 24 hr facility but yet not even 1 day a week are they open 24 hours. This is definitely the 2nd worst planet fitness that I've been to. First thing they don't have a membership scanner setting out like every other PF then the guy pulls out a sheet that I MUST fill out stating WHY IM HERE. Seriously!? And if this is a fairly new location I wonder why they have the old massage chairs. It is clean but is not welcoming. You shouldn't interrogate your guests. I do not have to explain why I'm here! Because I'm a MEMBER

It sucks that this place charges full membership fees but will most likely never be open 24 hours as advertised. Additionally, the machines in this gym are positioned in such a way that it is very difficult to use the cables without hitting another person or the mirror they are positioned adjacent to. Also the machines in this gym are older and run down which does not make any sense considering that this gym location is relatively new. Avoid this location and just go to Parkersburg. Not sure why this location was opened in the first place since it is haphazardly put together.

Am so sick of having to wait until the men working finish their giggly conversation about whatever to reach behind the desk, grab the scanner, say something else in giggly language, then hold the scanner loosely while I have to wait for it to stabilize. After "sitting out" of workouts since the Pandemic, I contacted PF and arranged a tour of the Marietta facility. It's pretty much the same as I remember when I stopped working out due to the pandemic, Tim, the manager, took me on a tour and re-educated me on using the machines in the 30 minute workout area then showed me the other stations. I returned the next day and thanks to Tim's suggestions, my workout went well. After the workout, I sat in a massage chair and went into the "red room". After showering in a spotless area, I felt great and I look forward to my next workout.

The gym is what you would expect out of a planet fitness. Large open space, plenty of machines and weights. The only thing I am not a fan of is the men's locker room layout. To get from the shower to the lockers, you have to walk through the toilet area, past the doorway to the gym, and then finally into the lockers area. While it's not a huge area, I am not a fan of walking past the toilets and doorway to the gym in a towel.

The staff are friendly and are constantly moving about checking the cleaning stations, and I regularly see them cleaning the floors and machines. I enjoy using this facility and will continue to do so while working in the area.

I remember having a black card membership a few years ago and it was the best thing on the planet. I would always go around bragging about how awesome it was and how awesome all the benefits and everything were, and how easy it was to sign up and take care of everything. I'm sad to see that planet Fitness has changed so much. I tried signing back up again today, and I was asked for personal information that should not be required. I'm already giving you all a decent amount of financial information to take care of my payment and my account. I shouldn't get a request for additional, excessive financial details about different accounts. There's no need for a company to have that much financial information about a person.

Additionally, the employee who originally greeted me was not friendly at all, and had an extremely apathetic attitude, and didn't seem to have any regard whatsoever for my concerns, and had no interest whatsoever in retaining me as a planet Fitness member.

I don't know why the employee was so unfriendly when I came in. I have the blackcard membership that I use all over the USA when I'm traveling.

For some reason this Planet Fitness insists out of town members write out their name, email, reason for traveling, other details. Not the "premium" service I've come to expect from any other Planet Fitness. The employee explained, condescendingly, that it was because my home club is not part of their group. My guest, who came into the gym later was treated rudely by a different member of staff.
It's my guess that this Planet Fitness just doesn't care about "no judgement zone".

(Edit) I've just noticed a pattern in the reviews of this gym and it echos my experience regarding rude, snarky, "not our franchise" kind of thing. I'm sure the "home" members rarely have to deal with this, but it's quite obvious there is a problem at this particular gym.
