This was the last commercial gym that I went to. I thought the staff was really friendly. Everybody was friendly. But there were people who went to that gym regularly who are stereotypically meathead. For a place that discourages that type of behavior, it ran pretty rampant. This was a few years ago. So the gym I go to now by comparison truly has no judgment. Especially when compared to this place.

This gym never updates its crowd meter what’s the point of having if it’s not update. Also would like to continue to see the growth with new machines. Update: the new hire staff (older guy dark hair) he was so polite and helpful. Appreciate having a GenX on staff vs GenZ!!!

I'll give this planet fitness 5 stars for their staff, one being a male manager who definitely went out of his way to make sure I had a good experience for the hydro bed.
It isn't like that at other pfs. Also they have quicker in between time slots instead of the every 30 minutes.

At other planet fitnesses I've had to wait while rooms were empty just because my time slot was 10 or 20 minutes away. And it wasn't busy there.

I'm glad it'd different here because I don't have extra money generally and when I got the black card I was hoping it'd live up to the price and at this particular planet fitness it has.

I do wish their machines counted as you do your reps. Older machines. But it's fine over all.

Not the busiest pf around which is also extremely nice. In a nice part of the city too.

This is my home gym and the staff is amazing. However, the overhead fan in the SE corner of the gym over the treadmills has not been working properly for 2+ years. It is always set to the lowest setting. I was told that the staff can't turn it up or it "squeals." I finally contacted corporate customer service to see if they could quickly address this issue. With the heat index well over 100 deg. all this week, it is unfathomable to think that an operation as large as PF does not have a preventitative maintenance plan in place to address such issues. No fault of the staff at all, but this issue needs put to bed QUICK! It has been an issue for a VERY LONG TIME. Only 3 stars due to this. Get the fan fixed and I'll come back and review as 5 stars.

*** Edited down to 1 Star on 7/10/24. Obviously, the franchise owner is not interested in preventative maintenance or fixing things around the place. 3+ years of telling the staff they cannot turn the SE (actually it might be NE corner of building - over the treadmills) fan past 25%. One of the mottos on the wall advertises that they'll "push you" or "kick your butt" to push the intensity of your workouts if needed, but as I push, the quality of my workout has increasingly digressed, especially in this 90+ deg. weather. It'd be great if someone recognized the principles of Lean and Continuous Improvement (like 5S) - Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, & Sustain. By doing so, defects are found and preventative maintenance can and will occur. This stupid fan has been busted (allegedly - makes a humming sound if turned up to a certain %) for well over three years. I was told this evening that if the staff turned the fan up to a higher level, it could become a "liability/safety" issue to the customer. Stupid question then, but "Why has this issue not been resolved" if that's the case? This is UNACCEPTABLE and needs to be addressed immediately! Guess I'll be calling corporate a few more time on my lunch break tomorrow. I highly doubt they care anyways...
Posting video soon comparing action/speed of both fans on opposite sides of the building, but this platform will not take mp.4(???) One fan happily whirring away @ 65-75% capacity, the other at 25%. This was just a brand new facility shortly before COVID - so sad... and so much for STANDARDIZATION...

***Trust me, it wouldn't be such a big deal if it weren't the ONLY fan over the treadmills.

I was hit with a $52.80 charge randomly. From what was explained, this is the annual fee. Okay that's fine, but what was explained and what was posted online does not answer where the entirety of this charge came from.

Annual fee is posted at $40 AFTER all taxes it would be MAYBE $45 on the high end. Where is this extra $10 coming from and why are people not made aware?

I tried calling the Manager a few times with no answer or return call, I just wanted to discuss why an unadvertised charge is happening.

Been coming here for a couple months too many. This wouldn’t be the first and only worker they’ve hired who has no desire to be friendly with the people that walk in. I beleive his name tag said Julian or something like that and anytime we can come in and he’s here he’s so rude won’t say hi and carries this rude look upon his face , and will be slamming around stuff and making sighs if for instance your phone doesn’t pull up the barcode quick enough as if he’s in a rush to do something else when he’s not. The amount of attitude we got from him tonight was the worse than the other times and I and my partner will not be returning to this planet fitness for awhile if even ever at all

Very excellent place. Bathrooms are well cleaned. Staff is super nice equipment is spaced out perfectly to get to. Love the atmosphere and also getting the tootsie rolls after the workout. Just one down side I'm really disappointed I can't bring my weight lifting belt to help me squat with my poor back conditions. Over than that this place deserves a 5 star!.

Standard Planet Fitness with an abundant amount of equipment to choose from and the staff is very helpful and nice. Only complaint is the fencing they have up in front of the main door which I’m sure it makes it difficult for the elderly or handicap to access since it’s blocking the access ramp. Oh and their fans are labeled BIG A$$ in the training area giving everyone a complex I’m sure lol. Good motivation though.

The gym isn’t bad but I don’t want to come here and see a messy bathroom because people are too lazy to clean up after themselves, or see other people on their phones doing nothing while at the equipment when others who go to physically work out would like to use it. Can’t get strict about the cleaning in the bathrooms or the phone policy at the gym I’m just gonna stop coming because my time is limited and I would like to be able to use some of the equipment that isn’t available half the time cause people again are on their phones just standing there. I’m disappointed in how people treat this place. The workers are great, it’s the community that isn’t respectful.

Spacious, air conditioned, clean, has the stretch machine, foam rollers, glute machine, calf machine and incline ab benches, plenty of benches in the dumbbell area, didn't notice any machines out of order, friendly staff. My husband was able to park his truck there without any problems.

I wish there were mirrors in more locations than just up front. There are none in the 360/stretching/strength room which is really disappointing. The only full body mirrors are located up front. Those on cardio machines are SOL when it comes to using the mirror.

When I laid my mat down to stretch, dust and hair and crumbs rolled all over it. When was the last time that area was swept and cleaned? I'll give this place another chance before I switch again, but the layout here isn't all that great.

I just started working out here and it's really great! Staff are friendly and helpful, and even though things are definitely a bit odd bc of covid, it's a great place to work out! There's even a "crowd meter" online that you can use to see how busy it is, which is very handy. Obviously social distancing is key in a place like this, especially since most people will take off their masks when they're doing cardio. Personally, I've found it quite easy to put myself on a machine that's far away from everyone else but I only go in the evenings bc of my schedule.
All in all, totally worth the price!
