I liked it. I'm a first timer and it seemed really chill and calm. You don't need to feel pressured to do anything. Just use the treadmill and scope out the place and get comfortable. The 30 minute workout room is great too for new learners.

Gym is nice and clean, staff is nice. However a new policy should be in play. I signed up at 1020. The person in front of me showed up late. Still had 5 mins. But somebody I guess was in the other bed. If you show up late. Then you should only get the remaining time that you lotted for. This is not the first time!

Extremely strange that employee, Toby, and another male employee at the front desk were on TikTok live during their shifts. A privacy violation for all customers walking in and out of his video, etc. & filming lasted for 15+ minutes.

I’ve had such a great experience at Planet Fitness Medina! The gym is always clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. The staff here truly go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable—especially Wes and Toby, who are incredibly friendly and kind. Management is unprofessional. Not impressed. Politics are being brought into the facility: Trump flags, an overubundance of Fox News on the TVs. When I brought this up, the manager then paced in front of my Wife and I when we were on the treadmills. Uncomfortable environment brought on by immature manager.

While unhappy with my experience a week ago, my experience this evening only leaves me with a more negative attitude. My husband and I were targeted after management overheard a political conversation he did not agree with. It is difficult to enter a business where Trump flags fly outside, inappropriate political wear is allowed by customers and an over abundance of Fox News shows on TV screens.

I've been using this gym since it opened and have been happy with it overall. The general environment is friendly and diverse. The staff is helpful on the whole with few minor exceptions. I have been to a few Planet Fitness gyms that were far stricter on the traditional rules, and therefore, incredibly judgemental and unwelcoming. I am happy to say that this gym is much more relaxed and accommodating to all it's members. It only loses a star in comparison to some others for amenities. Compared to other nearby PFs, there could be a few more free weights to reduce overuse and wait times, especially on the higher end. The massage chairs are older and less functional than at other PFs. There is very little room to stretch and it is often taken by classes at peak times (this is a downfall of almost all Planet Fitness gyms).

A truly great gym that I am so glad is close to home! The staff is super friendly and helpful, and they have a full-time trainer that will work with you by appointment now. After a tough workout, the new water massage tables are so refreshing. We really enjoy this facility! I am always impressed with the breadth of knowledge Corvin, the trainer, has with how to set my workouts up. He always keeps it fresh and fun. I really appreciate the personality of the staff, which is kind and supportive.

Most of the staff are fairly young and give a “I’m better than everyone else” attitude. Rarely greet at the door coming in and definitely don’t acknowledge you when you leave. (This is not all the staff, a decent amount of them are very friendly)

The machines and weights are almost always crowded at the Medina location while most of the cardio is open. Needs larger areas for resistance training and more resistance equipment. Folks are always waiting. This is a nice location, clean and friendly staff, but certainly one of the busiest.

I recently joined Planet Fitness to help me to #ActivateHappy. I am a long time member and short time show-upper of Running2bWell, a group started by Keith Johnston that utilizes exercise to help deal with mental illnesses and addictions. I have added prayer, lifestyle changes, daily exercise, and changes to my diet to keep me going towards my goal of being healthy, happy, and still around for my family: son, grandchildren, and great-grandson as well as siblings, father, cousins, and aunts and uncles for years to come!

What a beautiful branch of the Planet Fitness network. It had a uniqueness to it, was larger than my hometown branch, and seems brand new. Locker rooms were spotless, and this black card lounge was superior to the others Ive been to. Employees were ready for customers and very helpful - especially Juliette. She was hospitable and quick to make suggestions in my effort to introduce a family member to the facility in order to aid their health and stress levels. It was after a family funeral so her wisdom in reading the situation couldnt have been more helpful. We look forward to visiting again tho our membership is out of state. Thank you.

UPDATE: I Don't want to change my rating because I hope this gets addressed but I try to pop in to either work out or tan in the morning before I go to work and it's early very early between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m. and it's almost impossible to get the person who works there to the front desk they're usually working out themselves I've tried walking around looking for them they're not always dressed in uniform so I don't know who they are. and I've tried calling the phone number and it just goes to voicemail I don't have 25-30 minutes in the morning to wait for someone to come to the front desk when I'm standing there.. hoping this gets addressed..

Popped in for a quick tan, this place was amazing. Since I moved to Grafton oh and Elyria location 20 min from home was lack luster in location and appearance. But Medina is close to work, seeing the brand new state of the art facility, and how clean and nice everyone is, I'll be using this location on my work days. Happy I needed a tan and stopped in.

They do not even deserve a star!!!! I had a membership for a few years. Last week canceled my membership. . I did love this gym.However it's a judgement free zone!!! Safety free zone as well??!!! No regard for safety of woman. I refuse to share a bathroom with a male just because HE checked the female box. You may identify as what u will but when it personally affects me and my safety also safety of other woman I refuse!!! I will never go back . I'd rather give my hard earned money to another place that values my safety as a woman. This must stop !!!!

I understand your having trouble staffing to stay open 24/7. However, you should consider your customers and update your google listing hours. Its not hard to do. Walking in the doors to employee telling you the gym is closing in 10 min at 3:50 pm is not professional. However, the employees here are really excellent and i decided to update my review because they always make me feel welcome.

the medina planet fitness is set up weird, the nicer ones i’ve worked out at on my weight loss journey had the weights for strength training in the back so that all of the old people on the treadmills weren’t staring at you the whole time you worked out… it’s also kinda on the smaller side. the staff here has been great but that doesn’t outweigh the awkwardness of the way this PF is set up

One of the best gyms I've been too! Very clean and good vibes. The staff is very friendly, helpful and pleasant. Everytime I'm there they're always cleaning and keeping up on the maintenance of the equipment. I do a lot of traveling local and even out of state and other planet fitness gyms are not this well maintained. A lot of the local locations the equipment is falling apart, too dark, no ventilation, dirty and smell bad. Others should take notes from this location. I recommend people to come here all the time!

Staff are pretty aloof but friendly and available when you have a question. Establishment is well maintained and cleaned with equipment in great condition. I like the rep counting feature on the equipment as well as a countdown timer on each machine in the 30 minute express workout area. The tanning/massage bed area is clean in appearance and well maintained. I enjoy that it is 24/7 as my hometown doesn’t have this.
