It’s extremely disappointing to see a facility refuse restroom access to an elderly individual just because they aren’t a member. This policy shows a clear lack of compassion and basic human decency. The world is becoming such an ugly place when simple kindness is replaced with greed and everything revolves around money. It’s heartbreaking to see how far we’ve drifted from humane standards. I had the worst experience today. It’s annoying that every time I come there, members feel like they at home in their own personal gym. They are on two and three machines at a time. It’s a public place and you are one person and you should never hold up more than one machine at a time. I know all about super sets but it’s rude when you have other people there wanting to work out. The staff does nothing to correct this behavior and I think it very disrespectful for people to do this. There should be some rules in place about this and they should be enforced but it’s not. This girl today was on one machine and when I cleaned off another machine that she clearly was not on she jumped off the machine she was using and ran over and jumped in front of me and said I got one more set to do. I was so annoyed I went to the locker room and got my stuff and left. When I complained to the front desk they did nothing. I really am not interested in coming back. I am considering canceling my membership and working out at home only. I am truly disgusted because this is not the first time this has happened. My husband and I work out together 3-4 times a week and it happens with him as well as my self every week that we go.

After my post the owner responded to contact the manager.

Why should I contact the manager I already told you the owner. You should contact the manager and let them know and make them aware.

Worst planet fitness I’ve been to. The whole place smells of dank sweat, much more than an average gym. You can tell the machines don’t get wiped down between uses. I was smelling body odor and sweat on parts of machines that you shouldn’t even be touching. Most of the machines worked alright but many had missing grips and nearly half of the weights were scattered about the gym. I didn’t dare going into the locker rooms. Guys were walking around shirtless in the open gym anyway

I’m a truck driver and parking is my first concern. Didnt have an issue parking in front for a workout but I wouldn’t take a 10 in front, there’s signs. I parked in the back loading dock area and didn’t have an issue. Showers hot enough, water fountain cold enough, clean and all equipment was up to par. I’d come back, thanks a lot

Update: I had a couple medical issues and I have asked for a call back from the owner more than once and was ghosted. Interesting way of dealing with customers.

Nice facility. I will be returning after a while away. U need a movable bench or two in the Synergy 360 area. The exercises are limited with the pulley because we cannot sit down to do certain moves. Adding a bench that members can move where they need it would open up a world of additional exercises. Also in the ab workout area, you need a heavy duty massage table so those people who cannot get on the floor can still perform "floor" exercises. You have a nice facility but you don't take into account that you might have older members, handicapped members, and those rehabbing from injuries. A massage table can be used for stretching, yoga moves, ab work, etc. Update: Thanks so much for bringing back a trainer. I started working with the trainer Brandon. He is excellent. If you are on the fence about joining, join now and immediately set up training sessions so you can know what exercises you can do when you come in to workout. This facility has the best ratings in the area for a reason.

My recent experience at Planet Fitness was incredibly disappointing. As soon as I walked in, I was met with a dismissive attitude from a staff member named Shawn. I had already been told by another team member that taking a photo was optional, but Shawn insisted it was mandatory something that, as a customer, I know is not required.

His demeanor was unprofessional and unhelpful. When I asked how long he had worked there and if he should be familiar with the system, he seemed to stall, pretending not to know how to proceed. Meanwhile, he was assisting others without issue. It felt like he was deliberately being difficult, which was frustrating and disrespectful.

I eventually decided to cancel my membership due to this poor treatment. I won’t be mistreated or spoken down to by anyone especially when I’m simply trying to end my membership. The situation escalated further when Shawn called another location in Parma. Rather than helping me resolve the issue, both he and the other staff member seemed more focused on avoiding responsibility.

At one point, someone even suggested signing for me, which is completely unacceptable and, frankly, illegal. When I brought that up, Shawn attempted to record me without my consent. That crossed a major line.

All in all, this experience was enough for me to decide that I will not be returning to Planet Fitness not at this location or any other. Customer service matters, and this was a prime example of how not to treat people.

To anyone reading this: there are better places to spend your time and money where you’ll be treated with basic respect and decency.

I frequent this gym often almost everyday. I was spotted by the desk receptionist saying my attire was in appropriate. I wore all shark workout gear and flip flops, he pointed out saying my shoes were unacceptable for me to even step into the gym with on. I asked him why he then complied saying “It’s against gym regulations.”. I can understand if that was the case but i’ve been coming to this gym since February wearing this attire. I don’t know if this was a personal attack on my character or just a power struggle that he wanted to have over a younger individual which is truly unacceptable. I’m going to continue going to the gym because i find it therapeutic and find joy in exercising but I will not be governed by someone who they themselves need to be in the gym.

if I could give the North Randall location a zero I would. Had a billing issue called up to speak to someone didn’t get the situation resolved. While trying to ask a question and figure out a resolution to my issue, the employee kept over talking me. I asked his name and he hung the phone up on me. when I called back to ask to speak to management of course he answered and put me on hold for 20 to 30 minutes., then he emails me a copy canceling my contract of my membership without my consent. And I’m still waiting for Management to reach out to me. You would think as big as this company is I would’ve heard from someone by now.. It’s been almost 2 weeks since the incident and no one has contacted me. It’s like the staff of PF actions or being condoned when it comes to mishandling the members of PF and that’s not OK!!

The manager KATIE treats you like a child and has an incredible amount of attitude. Also got judged for using the tanning bed, yes I’m darker skin colored but I’m a landscaper so I get uneven tans. The staff ask me why did I need to use it!? So much for a judgement free zone… I now go to Lifetime fitness because I’m at least treated like a human being there… also the gym smells like B.O…

I have been to this location on and off for a couple of years. It's actually a great gym. Staff isn't "in-your-face" friendly but they are definitely approachable. It was never too crowded and the vibe is calm yet motivating if that makes sense. I always get a good workout and feel good about the people around me. I think there's a good spread of equipment. The bathrooms were always clean. I have been to LifeTime fitness and honestly I prefer this location better for what I need. I just wish they stayed open til 11 or midnight on the weekends!

Facilities are kept very clean and most staff members appear to be professional and courteous, but, there is one particular rude and unfriendly staff member (woman with blonde hair) with INCREDIBLY negative and offputting energy which is why I will NOT be back to this particular location. I wanted to express my appreciation for the outstanding experience I've had at your North Randall location. The spacious fitness area, roomy and well-maintained bathrooms, and the private, cozy spa area contribute to an overall positive atmosphere.

I must commend the staff at the North Randall gym for their exceptional friendliness and helpfulness. Their welcoming demeanor has truly made my gym visits enjoyable.

However, I have a couple of suggestions for improvement. It would be great to have paper towel dispensers and paper towel seat covers added to the bathroom area for enhanced hygiene. Additionally, I've noticed that the floor cleaning process may need some refinement, as it tends to leave the floor overly saturated with water.

I believe implementing these changes would further elevate the excellent experience your gym already provides. Thank you for your attention to these suggestions, and I look forward to continuing my fitness journey at Planet Fitness.

This new guy just messed up the whole morning. Turned my red room (Total Body Enhancement) off 7 minutes early, started the Hydro massage before I got on it, then left before restarting. NOT SAFE FOR TRUCKS. The gym itself is clean and the staff is great. However the local police will kick you out!

I’m an over the road truck driver and I’ve been going to Planet fitness’s all across the Midwest without issues. Yesterday I did what I do just about every day. I dropped my trailer at the receiver and bobtail over to my local planet. Halfway through my workout I see three police cars with flashing blue lights standing by my truck. I walk outside and try to explain that I do not plan on staying over night, just until I finish my workout and take a shower. They didn’t care and told me to leave right away. Drivers beware.

Very clean place with helpful staff. I enjoy working out there and feel comfortable. I recommend people start a new life there because working out consistently will definitely help you achieve different results. They have many sign up specials to take advantage of so it isn't expensive. Worth every penny if you actually go.
