Do not plan to do anything with tanning or massage chairs or anything included in the black card membership after 10pm. The night staff is never around. I called 11 times after waiting for over 25 mins to get into the tanning bed that I scheduled for 11pm. I finally left at 11:27 because no one was coming to the desk. No one was answering the phone. I knocked on the employee door. Nothing. I normally go at 6 am and this is the exact reason I stopped going at night. No one is around. The staff in the morning. I believe his name is Gage is so friendly and sweet. If you want to use any membership perk you need to go before 10 pm or there is no point. Not even sure why they offer those things being “24/7” if no one is around to let you use them. They need a bell or something. Ridiculous

I'm here at 4:30 in the morning and can't find an attendant anywhere. Used the little walkie talkie thing they leave on the counter during the night time hours to call an attendant, no one showed up after two attempts, also called them the phone and it just rings, no one showed up. Either the attendant is asleep in the office or not even here! Beyond frustrating!

Gym is kinda clean, you can tell they dont maintain like they use to. They don't enforce any rules anymore. Which is sad bc that is why a lot of people came here. No one wipes machines after use, clothing is optional, people slam weights, and no alarm. Some employees just like to sit on their phones behind the counter and when anything is brought to their attention nothing happens. They have eyes they just don't care anymore. I wish it would go back to how it was.

I have enjoyed coming here for the last 7 months. The staff is always friendly and kind. Recently, it seems like some of the machines are broken more often, and the toilet areas in the women restrooms just aren't being cleaned or being well kept at all. There is always stuff on the back on the toilets, stuff around the floor, and recently, there was no toilet paper in the stall as I was using it. I enjoy coming here. I just think cleanliness in the restroom area has gone downhill.

worst experience ive ever had at any gym. was a guest on my boyfriends pass who had his id, i didn't because i don't bring my wallet to gyms in light of them being stolen. it says no where on the app i need to bring my id, yet these people wouldn't let me go in when multiple people beside us also didn't have their ids. horrible customer service. manager was very rude and did nothing to fix the problem. a very poor way to run this business- there are better gyms all over perrysburg. would be 0 stars. two guys at the front desk acted like they were guarding a mafia meeting. never have seen anything like that.

Best staff ever, truly outstanding! Extremely clean facility. Highly recommend. Been a Black Card member with PF for years and really appreciate it. Only gave 4 stars because staff seems 2 have their hands tied when it comes to addressing issues/complaints. Biggest issue, IMHO, is phone policy was never enforced. Now, with the new PF workout App, it's worse, much worse. People sit at a piece of equipment for extremely long durations simply surfing the web, thereby trying up equipment for others to use. I've personally watched some sit at equipment for 20+ mins, simply sitting and surfing. You can walk by and glance it on their screens and if other members, who also notice it, ask to use the equipment, the surfer often gets ticked off or hostile. A member should not be placed in that position. Staff should have the ability to observe and be the first to step in. However, unless staff walks by and glances at the phone of equipment sitters, they can only assume, from the check-in counter, that the member is on the PF app. Such practice has a direct affect on other members personal work-out routines and the time that they have alloted for it. Second issue is some members using/tying up 2 pieces of equipment at the same time, especially during peak hours. Again, staff seem to have their hands tied by corporate management regarding their lack of onsite ability to address such issues. Staff simply reply that you have to go onto the PF website to address. However, that site only appears to direct the complainant back to the onsite manager of the PF it originated from, not corporate or the franchise owner. Frustrating really. Especially since PF corporate/owners are blessed with such an outstanding and dedicated staff at the Perrysburg location. I've owned & managed several businesses and have had such people (staff) onboard. They're hard to come by and they are even harder to replace. They definitely need the tools an support to retain 'em. However, even with those issues, it's still THE BEST PF I've ever been in.

After an initial consultation with the fitness instructor, I was optimistic about my journey towards better health and fitness. During that first meeting, I was given a personalized workout plan and assured that the instructor would check in on my progress every once in a while. However, as the months went by, I found myself stuck in a mediocre routine that lacked the motivation and guidance I had hoped for.

Fast forward about 5-6 months, and I realized that not only had I not received a single check-in or update from my instructor, but I was also feeling increasingly disheartened by the lack of support. It became clear to me that I needed to make a change, which is when I decided to leave and try out a different fitness program, specifically FBBC (Fitness Boot Camp).

My experiences at the gym were further compounded by the atmosphere at the front desk. Each time I visited, the staff behind the counter seemed more engrossed in their own conversations than in assisting members. It was as if they were more interested in chatting with each other than in fostering a welcoming environment for those of us trying to improve our fitness.

The day I finally decided to quit was particularly telling. When I approached the counter, I noticed that the staff was deeply engaged in what appeared to be a crossword puzzle or some other distraction. I stood there for a good 5-10 seconds, waiting for someone to acknowledge my presence. Eventually, I managed to get their attention, but the interaction was far from what I expected. When I informed them of my decision to quit, their response was lackluster at best. They simply asked for my name, with little to no follow-up or attempt to understand my reasons for leaving.

Overall, my experience at this gym was disappointing. The lack of communication, support, and engagement from the staff left me feeling undervalued as a member. I was looking for a community that would encourage and motivate me, but instead, I found an environment that felt indifferent to my fitness journey. This ultimately led me to seek out a more supportive and dynamic fitness experience at FBBC, where I found the motivation and guidance I was missing.

I am a deployment engineer and travel every week for work. I’ve had the luxury of visiting over 100 planet fitness locations across the United States.

I’ll start by saying that planet fitness in Perrysburg is a very well-maintained facility and has great equipment.

However, this is the first Planet Fitness I have been to that closes at 10 PM. Further to this point, one of the staff members was extremely rude. Jake Miller approached me 3 times at 9:45, 9:50, and at 9:55, and then proceeded to stand behind me and demand me to stop and leave. I wiped my equipment down and went to the front desk, spoke to the other 2 staff members about the interaction, and walked out by 9:57.

Incredibly negative first-time customer experience specifically due to this employee.

I went to there for the 1st time today and loved it! Great staff....Kol went above and beyond to answer questions that I had, and helped me with learning how to use the wellness pod (which was amazing). Never thought I'd become a PF member lol But in 2019 I had to "retire" from powerlifting thanks to Lupus & Rheumatoid Arthritis and staying at my local gym had become emotionally difficult since I no longer could deadlift, bar squat, or bench so in late 2019 I joined this PF and been a member since. Always clean, most of the staff members are friendly & helpful, and the members are all very polite as well. I've never had any issues with theft here, even before I used a lock. My car is always safe in the parking lot, unlike other nearby PFs. Overall, great gym and I have no complaints :)

Don’t get me wrong, I come here to work out. But the staff they have that works during the day are probably the most unfriendly people I’ve had to meet. There are two girls specifically that I absolutely adore and that’s Lexi and Hailey. Not only are they friendly, but they are accurate and precise with every encounter and make me feel welcome each time I come through the doors. I come here specifically for tanning. The tanning beds are great but the system that they use is not. If there is a tanning bed open and there is no one waiting you would think you'd be able to get in right away with that is not the case. They rely on time slots and if it is 2 minutes past the new time slot you have to wait until the next time slot. This makes no sense to me , they are allowing technology to to override customer service and common sense. Please fix
