I’ve been to so many planet fitness. However, this one is the BEST one. I will never walk into another one. Cathryn, Maya, Logan and Markus is the best. They treat me like family. This location is sanitized and managed. If you want to feel like a member and feel safe at the same time come to this location. Please bring good energy only. Overall I pray this location prosper.

This gym is freezing cold. I travel for work and visit planet fitness is in different cities and states throughout the country. I can’t understand why they insist on keeping the gyms so cold and on top of that, this morning at the Pickerington location they had two gigantic fans that were blowing so hard. My hair was blowing all over the place. If you have any interest in even breaking the slightest of sweats, do not go to this gym.

My wife has been going to this gym for about 4 months now, and unfortunately had to cancel her membership due to the front desk team members. They made her very uncomfortable, by making inappropriate comments and attempting to joke and flirt with her- this is so unprofessional and I was really upset to hear she didn’t want to return due to the behavior. Even when she tried to cancel they were still being unprofessional and making her uncomfortable. No woman should feel this way in a gym setting, check your employees planet fitness!

Reasons why 2 stars and I cancelled.
1. Had the black membership and wanted to downgrade due to not using benefits. Club wanted me to cancel and resign back up with starter fees and everything. Ridiculous!
2. This club is not planning on getting any of the new equipment in commercials like the hack squat machine, seated calf raise machine, and bench press machine. Another club I went to had this equipment.
3. The crowd meter is never accurate. At times, it is really hard to get on machines/benches. Isn’t enough equipment for weight lifting during busy times.

One positive about the club is that it is very clean and they keep the equipment maintained. Hope this review helps you before you decide to join.

Would rather go to the Reynoldsburg location. Have gone a couple times, and the staff seems to be bothered by people walking in. The 30 minute cycle area was taken over by people not doing the circuit and just sitting on their phones. In addition, virtually none of them cleaned the equipment when done. On top of that, the total body enhancement machine was half broken. Definitely not impressed.

Updating review.

No longer truly 24 hours daily and it varies from location to location. But overall still the most affordable compared to other gyms.

I the amount of people who don't clean up after themselves are shocking but at least during the times I go, the staff goes through and cleans once in a while.

The only other thing I would love at this gym is more stair steppers. They only have the two at the end.

When I walked in I did not even get a hello they was both so busy texting on there phones. I said hello I wanted to tan please full time and not even a ok. Just told me what room I was in and then as I said thank you instead of a your welcome I got silence as they both still was busy on there phones. A lot of very rude gym goers who don't understand gym etiquette especially at high volume times. That's fine, the people can't be created by the gym. But they can police them better. Instead, the staff stays on their phones at the desk while people sit on machines for 10 minutes with no sets while playing on their phones and the paper towels and spray bottles stay empty. This was my first time at this location and I worked with Tyler at the front desk who was awesome. The facility was very well organized and clean. The locker rooms, bathrooms and showers all very clean and well stocked as well. There was lots of equipment choices and all in good shape. The only thing I would suggest would be maybe changing out some of the belts on the treadmills but other than that I was very happy with the staff and facilities

Did a review of this location in regards to not having a fitness trainer and the issues with having now a lot of teen there holding up equipment for social purposes , In response to the owners suggestion about talking issues over with them I found that was pretty much a dead end
Manager basically said that if I feel I need a fitness trainer that I just simply need to go to another location in a bit she’ll very unprofessional and made it sound like this a your problem not an our problem. Good evening, I would like to start off by saying that, as a morning regular of this location for a hot minute now and a retired army vet with anxiety and ptsd issues, I have never seen a more attentive, courteous, and welcoming crew before. Every morning upon my arrival, they are always greeting everyone when they arrive as well as when they are leaving. The club always presents itself in such a manner to where the cleanliness, and functionality of the equipment is phenomenal. The bathrooms are always clean and presentable, and I always see tge staff combing the club floor ensuring that not only the equipment is clean and functioning but that the towel dispensers and cleaning solution is topped off. They are always greeting everyone and asking how things are going etc.. these staff members and the leadership definitely keep this facility operating like a well-oiled machine and I personally do not think they get paid enough. During my time attending this facility, not once have I seen any issues with the staff and club members interaction. The staff as I have witnessed have always maintained nothing but pure professionalism while performing there daily duties. If there are any issues, it is usually with the guests as when the staff members approach the guests and try to reinform them of the club ruled and regulations, the members want to act like they didn't know, what the rules are, and want to catch an attitude with the staff when the staff is only trying to do their job nevermind the fact that not only are the rules and conduct outlined in the paperwork the members sign, but some can b seen in the club. So you see it's not the leadership and staff issues, it's almost always, guests not wanting to follow simple rules and guidelines that are set in placebo planet fitness that they have signed to agree to. This staff needs to be commended on their daily performance as alot of you already know that customer service isn't always easy. So, instead of having the entitlement attitude, how bout the next time you visit, show the staff a little appreciation and thank them for being there so you have a place to go and workout judgement free.

The female manager walks in and out of the male locker room as she pleases. She does not announce herself, or put a sign in front of the locker room entrance, as there is one when a male enters the female locker room. If a man were to do this, he would be fired and arrested!

Said female manager is enamored with her title/role and needs a reality check to bring her down from the high of her power trip! She acts as if she is the founder of Planet Fitness, and wants to dictate how people work out. Its as if the weights are her personal property, and we can only use them as she sees fit.

When questioning her about her actions, she says to talk to her boss in a way that suggests her female supervisor allows, encourages, and condones her degenerate, classless, unprofessional behavior.

Overall decent. Better than some locations. Staff is very nice. There’s at least one smith machine in need of major maintenance and for a gym that’s not into having squat racks, then their smith machines should at least be in shape.
That being said, across the board planet fitness gyms are always clean and have clean bathrooms and locker rooms, this location no different. For a discount gym is decent.

Wish they had a few more machines considering the amount of people that go here. There are a hundred teadmills for whatever reason and only 4 people on them while everyone else waits for the actual workout equipment; sometimes 40 mins plus before a piece of machinery opens up.

This gym is so so... It is another place with workout equipment... You could just as easily go to the YMCA. The male manager that I spoke with was rude and rather condescending. Then Covid hit. I have not been to the gym since April 14th of 2021 and yet they continue to Bill me even though I requested a stop payment. I was told well you needed to come in and give us a letter in writing saying to stop the payment so now I have a bill for $333 for a building that I haven't stepped inside of and well over a year. And they're completely unwilling to negotiate or navigate the expense.And they are unwilling to negotiate or navigate the expense. Cancelled and sending them five dollars a week. When they send it to collections they are only going to get 15% of that and the documentation for having covid will cut that amount as well.
Sometimes people need to be reasonable over profit.

Lots of young people working the desk. Not very professional. I was in the tanning bed for 9 minutes and it shut of at 6. When I got dressed and was walking out one of the desk staff yelled "hey, I turned your bed off on accident. I added 5 more minutes if you want to go back." It's cheap to go there. I get a cheap experience. I've been to many $75 a month heath clubs. You get what you pay for.

PF already has a reputation of being a joke gym but this location has become literal stand up comedy.

As a big guy, I understand the risk of lifting heavy with no safety for my joints. For years I have carried a small gym bag with wrist straps, ankle straps, knee wraps ect along with my phone, keys and water. Everything is kept organized and out of the way in the bag instead of spread out all over the floor around me.

Today mid work out I was approached by a manager who informed me I can either put my bag away and carry all my safety equipment around individually or leave the gym.

I politely explained I’ve been a member for years doing this and it has never been an issue. I asked when this policy changed and how it was communicated out to customers/members.

They couldn’t answer and just responded “uhhh new management has changed policies and need followed by all members.”

I asked again, where were these policies publicly posted and how they were communicated to members.

Met with another blank stare I was again asked to lock up my bag, put it in my car or leave.

I promptly closed my bag and walked out.

Maybe they should bring back their bagel and pizza days and really show people this location has no interest in safe work outs but just taking your money, changing policies and alienating loyal customers.

DON’T be fooled by the price, find a gym who cares about its members and supports their members work outs, not push them away and out because they don’t fit their “image.”

If you are absolutely scared you will get COVID then a gym is the last place you should be. But if you must, this one is perfect for you. Even though as of 2/22 most businesses including most planet fitness locals haves eased up. This one continues to believe that walking through the gym means you’ll spread COVID but being on a piece of equipment next to someone means you can’t spread it. Because COVID knows. Do yourself a favor and use the one in Reynoldsburg. No silly masking rules that make no sense, bigger facility and less meatheads staring at themselves in the mens locker room mirrors

It's fine if you just want a treadmill, but they are very restrictive and irritating. I understand the workers do not make the rules but they have many policies that restrict you. No benchs, no squat racks, no deadlift area, no jumping rope. They have many more but these irritate me the most. Good gym for your first year but you will quickly outgrow it. Good deal for $10 a month but it isn't open very late.

Hassle me over one dollar because your computer peripherals don’t work right and/or you don’t train your staff well, get a two rating. Claim you close early for cleaning over night when it’s clearly untrue, drop to a one rating.

Three weeks later since my review. Almost all the other gyms are back to regular hours. Not this one. Still restricted hours.

Great employees that are very knowledgeable, even on 3rd shift!! I do really wish they had rowing machines at this location though. There are many, many stations to do cardio, but most are treadmills, ellipticals, and some Arc trainer machine I haven't tried yet. I do LOVE that they're open 24hrs/day even on the weekends, as most locations seem to have quite limited weekend hours.
Changing room and restroom were large & extremely clean. My only other recommendation is to install sanitizer pumps throughout the facility; this wouldn't cost much $$ or time on their part.

Well. This location is decent. They are practicing social distancing. I couldn’t put my stuff in the lockers so I had to carry everything with me. Other locations lock every other locker. I saw a woman with her purse and outfit at the treadmill. They give tokens for the massage chairs which is unsanitary, because it goes from hand to hand. This is the first time I have had to use a token. Usually it’s automated through the computer. There was no disinfectant spray for the massage chairs. Only paper towels and hand sanitizers.
