Love coming here, its a truly impeccable PF location. Parking is perfect super spacious with tons of machines. Would be 5 stars but for god sake make your staff stay on top of the urinals. Bathroom has cost you memberships I can tell you that, not mine though!

I got a black card membership here in Piqua. The gym equipment is outstanding however they only have 1 Hydro bed,the air was not working well and the red light therapy is also not working. I was next for the hydro bed and the Kids at the front desk let someone else take my spot and I had to wait again. They don't have the trainers either. I haven't tried the tanning but plan too.

I loved my experience at this planet fitness, the equipment is newer at this location, the staff is very friendly, and you can tell all the workers work hard. There is a certain employee in particular that stood out, not only was he friendly and polite but he also was so helpful. Jacob definitely gave a wonderful planet fitness experience!

I've been coming here over a year to work out and tan and today on a Sunday I scheduled tanning after my workout for 630. I have stood there for about 14 minutes waiting for someone to come to get me into a bed to the point that now I know it's too late to tan on a Sunday because they close at seven so I don't know if you're just shortstaffed or what but I will be canceling my membership.

Tried giving another chance for a couple of months and it went well until today and today on a Sunday 5/18/25 again when my tanning appointment was at 6:20pm at 6:26 pm when I'm standing in line, the guy behind the desk says we stopped tanning at 6:30. It was 6:26pm This seems to be a recurring theme with the Sunday workers and it's usually the young ones and they don't want to, I don't know get stuck there, but this is absolutely my last straw and I am canceling my membership.

Great gym, enjoying the new equipment.

But I really wanted to mention that I Finished my workout today and saw a broken down car in the middle of the street while leaving.

While I was helping them many people drove by without helping, including a police officer. Only one other person offer to help and that was a chipper, lovely, and extremely nice blonde lady that worked at Planet fitness!

Just wanted to share how awesome that is and say thanks again, keep hiring people like her and please let her know I said... Thanks for being you! It's nice to see people willing to help others, but so very special to see people HAPPY to help others!

That lady and her coworkers are awesome! This location knows how to hire good people.

I go to the planet fitness in Piqua,Ohio to tan. I went in yesterday a little before four scan my barcode at the front desk then went over to schedule tanning. The earliest one they had was 412 so I clicked on it and did all that, and then I went over to the desk to check in, there was a young girl there and she asked me my name and I told her and she said it’ll be 418 and I’m thinking I signed in at 4:12 but maybe they’re a little behind so OK she said they were someone ahead of me anyway . So I went to the bathroom and then went over and sat in the black chairs in front of the where the tanning beds are start my book, and then I realized that three rooms had opened up, and someone had already went into one of them. So I looked at my watch and it was 422 so I went up to the desk and asked them if they know which bed I will have and they asked me my name and I told them She said I was over 10 minutes late and I didn’t check in so I couldn’t tan and if she did let me it would only be for a few minutes. So I proceeded to try and tell her that I had already checked in. And what the young girl had told me and she proceeded to tell me that they didn’t know that I was over there sitting and waiting and again I never checked in she said, and this is the manager That was telling me this stuff. I was very displeased because I’d been waiting since a little before four and it was 422 she was very rude. She didn’t care about what I had to say. And I told her that when I come during the day that the other employees will ask around your name so you can tan and they don’t overlook you. They don’t do anything. They didn’t come to see if I was sitting in the waiting area. Nothing she just told me I was late and I couldn’t tan, so I left. I was very embarrassed. There was other women behind me so when I got home, I decided to go ahead and call and get their names and to see who the manager was the following day And she answered the phone and I explained to her that I wanted the long haired girls name, and the one with the clear clips on either side of her hair. She gave me her name, but refused to give me the other girls name. I asked the managers name that I could call and she gave me the mangers name and told me I could call back the next day and speak to her manager. I did tell her that she sucked as a manager. So I won’t be going back to planet fitness in late afternoon or evening.

I went to the one in Piqua. First he told Mr the wrong room. Then acted like I didn't want to come out. NOTE I had all my clothes off at this time. Then when I finally get in the right room. He didn't turn the bed on, on purpose. I had to call 2 times to get it started. He said push start button, I did that 5 times, nothing. I have never in my life been treated so badly bc they messed up and kept messing up. Smdh. I need to find a better one with service. This guy was totally a joke and rude.

Stopped in to take a shower passing through and there is absolutely zero water pressure. What the hell????
When I checked in the guy working the front desk told me that they are doing “free memberships” for dogs and they take their picture or something. I have a service dog that is absolutely not going to be used for your promotional uses. I wonder if they just allow dogs into this one or what is going on.

Atmosphere was positive. But the building is small and to many machine weights. It felt cramped to me.
Also to the person that sent me a response.
My home gym is Englewood. Yes I know what the crowd meter is on the app. Your response was condescending and frankly rude. I came to the Piqua gym at 630 am. Hardly a crowd. If you read my review it states the "the building is small and to many machine weights" NOT ONE MENTION OF PEOPLE.
Also I was being polite but in truth the building is in need of maintenance and clean the locker rooms.

I've been at the same planet fitness for years and when I had to download the app it asked me to "upgrade" to black card, but I already was on black card and being charged $24.67 a month after taxes and fees. I was at the counter asking the person working "Dylan" if it was going to charge the posted rate because I didn't want my bill to change. He said "you will still be charged what you have been". I seen the new charge is now $26.80 and I called to get that changed but "Dylan" got on the phone and said it was taxes.. I know this isn't the case and told him my bank records and he said "well it can't be changed". I asked for someone above him and he said nothing can be done and he remembers telling me **NOT** to press the button on the app. Myself being very protective on my finances remembers really well the opposite because I said "I'm going to be upset if I get nickle'd and dime'd". I then stated on the phone "there has to be someone higher up than you that I can speak with to fix this". He in a very rude manner said "good luck with that" and hung up the phone. Currently trying to figure out how to resolve this issue because the annual fee is also higher!

Great starter gym for someone looking to get into fitness plenty of cardio machines and assisted machines to get you in right direction. Dumbbells,kettlebells, smith matches, etc. No free weights and the pricing for this is amazing The only time it is no contract is when you are not on the black card version to bring a friend for me, which at $24.99 bring anybody you want is still a hell of a deal plus massage beds and tanning

Love this facility! Wish they were open later on the weekends. That is a big downfall of theirs. Also they need to update their bulbs on their tanning beds. You don't seem to get a tan from using them consistently. Also, their hydromassage chair is often broken. It is an awesome chair. Hopefully they will continue to work on these things to keep the customers coming.

I have been a customer of planet fitness for a very long time. I actually work out somewhere else but kept paying for the tanning capability. I came back in for the first time this evening in months and all new personnel. I selected the very next tanning appt. Which was a 45 minute wait. During that time. I watched bed 2 go unused for 20 minutes. When I inquired if I could go early, I was told it took 15 - 20 minutes to clean. Seriously?? Someone else then went to bed 2 to tan and when they came out, I watched one of the employees clean both beds 2 and 3 and was done in less than 5 minutes. The beds then sat empty. When I asked again, a different attendant said they had to clean the beds. She seemed agitated that I asked. There was obviously zero communication between employees on who is doing what. She also took less than 5 minutes to clean bed 2 and 3. Finally, I get bed 3 and it totally sucked. The facial tanner wouldn't come on, although the audio system said it was on maximum power and the bed only got to luke warm. I didn't bother telling the attendants as the female attendants don't smile and appear to have no personal skills with customers. Total waste of my time tonight. Planet fitness gets one more chance then I'm taking my business somewhere else.

Being told after going to the gym for over 8 months without issues and wasn't required to wear a mask was refused service by club manager. It was clear the other members in the gym were not being required to wear the mask. Was told I had to wear one when walking around gym and when working out when I have a medical condition on file and under the Ohio mask mandate Medicare exempt apply. Under orc 4731.41 and 4731.34 a business is not legally allowed to practice medical advice and under orc 4112.02 no business can restrict access under said guidelines

I would love to give a half of a star. I never give my opinion about a business I believe we all have bad days. However this is part of planet fitness’ policy that I have an issue with. Be prepared to be stuck with a membership unless you have the ability to mail a letter certified mail or be able to go into the gym in a midst of a pandemic to cancel it. No way to cancel via phone or email. I feel as if there should be exceptions at the time considering many people are unable to leave their home at the moment. Instead I get a very short response during a phone call because I had interrupted a conversation with the associate and a customer. Could have asked politely to place me on hold to be able to provide good customer service to both paying customers.
