I have been to a few planet fitnesses, but I have encountered very rude staff here to the point where I won’t be returning to this location. On multiple occasions, they are on their phones behind the desk. I usually work out for two hours and from the moment I get there to leaving, they are still behind the desk on their phones. When I say hello before scanning my pf card, they look annoyed that I came up to them and look at me but do not answer. As an establishment that promotes a judgement free soon, the staff here are very judgmental and rude for no reason. I would suggest more training for staff to promote a friendly, welcoming environment for guests.

Plus: Love the massage chairs; good lighting throughout facility; usually not too crowded; plenty of availble parking in a well paved lot as compared to other nearby locations. Locker rooms and bathroom well maintained.

Minus: Staff laughing loud, playing cards and taking over side of front desk area takes away from the serenity of the massage chairs nearby. I had on sound deafening head phones while on massage chairs and could still hear staff laughing loud during 8-10 pm time period on weekdays; massage chair rooms need a closed soundproof door to create max serene ambiance. Far too many patrons sit at at their exercise station on their phones long after an exercise :( which is a much bigger problem than grunting too loud.

The staff are very professional, laid back, and clean well. I love how nicely maintained the treadmills, workout rooms, and strength training section is. I’ve been coming since August and have not had a problem at all. Very clean, fun, and no judgement from other members at all.

I love this location. If you go at night( I haven't been there in the daytime), it's always got equipment available. Large area to work in, lots of variety on equipment and awesome staff make this spot great for a workout. For Black Card members, Massages, tanning beds and Total body enhancement are all available, and kept spotless. The locker rooms are huge, too. Would and often do highly recommend to friends and coworkers.

I signed up during a promotion and thought I would give this a try since my neighbor likes it. Of course I just recently found out that she travels to another location and does not use the local location in our city. My issues are many. 1. I am not able to access my billing history on the app or website. I spent more than 1 hour, in the end it says to visit your club in person. If you sign up online, you should be able to access everything related to your account online. This is horrible that I kept getting directed to "visit my club". 2. The billing practices are not following regulations. When people sign up for a membership or subscription that processes on installments they are required to send a reminder at least 7 days prior to processing that installment. In 2 months I have not received a single notice to my account. 3. Staff are not educated to the company policies. Per the FAQ on Planet Fitness site you can email to manage your membership. The club did not provide me with the email address and kept pushing for me to come into the club in person. I look forward to the Federal Trade Commission action that is currently pending that forces these companies to provide an easy way to cancel. I will be contacting them today to share my experience with Planet Fitness.

I definitely recommend any other option than Planet Fitness.

The music from the gym occasionally BLASTS so it’s audible over your own earbuds even on the treadmill side. People are ALWAYS talking on their phones while using equipments despite gym policy being “phone calls in lobby only”. Gym employees do not enforce rules. They are mostly rude and will dust/vacuum equipment RIGHT NEXT TO YOU while you are concentrating on your workout. The first time someone started vacuuming right behind me and it startled me so badly I almost fell off of my treadmill. Honestly it’s not looking to be worth the money anymore.

We are traveling and our home gym lets us both use the full benefits of the black card membership. These people wouldn’t even get off the phone to offer us options. We were tired from traveling and just wanted to use the hydro massage. Wouldn’t even offer us options to pay for it. They didn’t even want to try to help us. It wasn’t a busy time at all. All the chairs were empty.

Great staff. Quite a few machines (treadmills, ellipticals,bikes etc) there for members. The only problem I have is that the members aren't cleaning off the machines after use. They hop from machine to machine either to mark as if they're going to use it again so no one else will or completely walk away. I know the staff can't keep an eye on everyone but there needs to be some type of reinforcement of gym rules.

I like this planet fitness. Only thing I have a problem with is the lack of certain equipment but they make up for it with equipment that I haven't seen at other planet fitnesses. It is also quite humid in the building which is okay for me but once you start going and working out it gets alittle irritating. Bathrooms are clean and very updated which I liked alot. Trying to understand why the news is on almost every tv regardless of what time I go workout I’m in there to work on my mental and physical health. Not jeopardize it. They should take all of the big TVs down and have equipment with personal TVs so we aren’t forced to stare at nonsense during our workout.

Done with this place I payed a past due balance threw the app and they applied it 2 months ahead. The general manager told me it was nothing he could do and that i still had to pay the remaining balance. Then when I asked to cancel the account he informed me that I would have to come in but I live on the other side of town now. They care nothing about there members and would highly advise to stay away from this location.

Not much of a review leaver but it’s pretty hard not to leave a review for this one. I’ve been to dozens of PF locations in various cities and states (terrible neighborhoods included) and this one takes the gold for the dirtiest facility with the rudest staff. It doesn’t really matter if it’s 10 am or 10 pm, I always seem to encounter employees on their phones in the black spa or lounging at the tables. They’re annoyed anytime someone comes in to tan or have a question but the way their system operates (two stop check in) isn’t really the members fault. I have never encountered anyone who’s nice and as an introvert who already avoids people it’s super disheartening at the place you want to go to for an outlet.

What’s top tier odd is $40+ per member in annual fees and having a gym that is consistently so dirty. I actually went to lay down in the tanning bed and someone else’s sweat and hair were in it. Despite someone cleaning it after every member, their beds are beyond disgusting and truly so unsanitary top to bottom. Blood, body fluids, lotions, earrings, trash.

It’s gross to even take your shoes off inside of this club.

Definitely embarrassing considering it’s location. I miss my home gym and am bummed to say this is the new one near our new house. The worst.

If I could rate this higher than 5 stars, I would. Coming to the gym has been the best decision I've made in my life. Why? Planet fitness offers a wide variety of equipment to fit all your workout needs. Cardio? They got you. Dumbells? They got you. Need to do Abs? Biceps? Triceps? Leg day? They got it! Very clean. First time ever training here. Only qualm I have is the "grunt" rule which falls under the term "lunk." I was approached during one of my sets for grunting while pushing myself to finish my reps...I've heard flatulence louder. Off peak time so maybe 16 people including staff. Anyways. Very Clean.

Machines are breaking! The handle grips are falling off and sticky. The bathrooms are dirty. Floors are dirty. The tanning beds are never cleaned. The garbage cans in the tanning rooms are always full. Floors are gross too! Cannot walk on the floor. I once got a wort on the bottom of my foot from walking on the tanning room floor. The paper towel dispenser is hardly ever refilled in the tanning rooms. Soap dispenser in ladies bathroom is always seem to be empty when I am there. Very disappointed.

Been a gym rat most of my life. At 53; fast, clean and good selection of Hammer Strength machines and free weights are in order for my workouts. At an incredible 20ish per month with unlimited tanning (1 per 24 hours)...what a Country!

Rave reviews so far. The staff have been awesome. Veronica, Raj, and Tim have been extremely helpful with setting up my account and helping me and my guests with questions and tips. I've gotten to meet a couple of the regular guests too who have also been great to meet. This has been an interesting place to see people help motivate each other. Getting situated in was a little awkward since my guests and I might not really know where to start, but I've done enough athletics to help ease that transition I just always start with stretching and move onto desired workouts before wrapping up with a little more stretching and the massaging equipment.

I have been going to this location for a couple weeks now and I have never encountered this woman before. I walked into the gym yesterday and I forgot my water bottle. I figure I will just grab one out of the cooler so I walk up to the desk and scan my card and I say "do I have a credit card on file?" this overly spray tanned woman cuts me off and starts yelling at me she says "no and you need to fill out this form because this is not your gym" I wish I could convey her tone because she was so rude. I am assuming she was a manager because she was wearing black and everyone else was wearing purple, but I feel bad for the employees if they have to work with that. She then went to yell at another customer behind me and I didn't even bother to buy a water. Definitely looking into other gyms where I feel welcomed and don't get yelled at as soon as I walk in the door.
