1st day after purchasing black card membership and 1st day using SE home gym locker room, I was greeted by a random gym user at a restroom sink with “oh gesh” I looked over at her and said excuse me, then she says good morning. I replied oh I thought you said ‘oh gesh not good morning. She responded oh that would be rude and I said it was. Then walk left the restroom and I finished washing my hands.

2nd visit to the same home gym when I enter the locker rooms I’m being followed by staff after using the toilet.

3rd visit same home gym when I enter the locker room to use the restroom I’m followed by staff using the toilet

4th visit I’m told that my guest can’t use any black card privileges and it too busy for me to use the massage chairs and my guest should inquire if they health insurance would pay for their own membership instead of trying to use my guess pass.

Based on my experience I don’t recommend paying for membership if this is the expectation standard the experience of Planet Fitness

I was in today and just want to say I am appalled at how the employee Katie was speaking to the person running check in and the front desk. The person was typing some things in while I cancelled my membership and Katie came up barking at them “what are yin doing who even taught you this”. Katie also didn’t seem to comprehend me having a known as name that didn’t match my ID and was beyond rude asking me “why does this say two different names why would you do this.”
Then upon leaving Katie commanded the worker at the desk to watch them and when I tried to tell them thank you Katie began loudly giving them directions not letting them even say anything back to me and neither did Katie.
The behaviors were not acceptable for any leader manager or even fellow team member. I truly hope this is addressed with urgency and there is some focus on leadership and communication skills.

The customer service from one of the employees is unacceptable. I completed half of my workout and decided to run to my car to grab my book before cardio letting one of the employees know I would be right back upon returning an older black gentlemen’s accused me of trying to sneak in, I let him know I have already been here I just ran to my car apparently that wasn’t enough because he then looks down and noticed I had on crocs and told me I can’t finish my workout without tennis shoes. I have been to servers PF gyms in the area and had no issue working out in my crocs due to forgetting mt gym shoes. For a no judgement zone policy there is always an issue

Signed my teen up for the teen program . Went to use it (with my teen) and they said I had to bring my teen birth certificate or state ID (he 15) we had filled out all the forms online and NOWHERE does it say you have to bring a birth certificate or ID when you come in not even on the small print . If that was the rules the website should have stated that . They always give problems when I come in, it’s time to cancel my whole membership and just find another gym !

Update : read the bad reviews and saw another customer went to Richmond heights with no issues so i did the same . Not fair one location (Euclid ) seems to want to try everything to keep people out while another one is more welcoming !

They no longer allow you to carry a small drawstring bag when using machines. I did that for about 2 years and now all of a sudden it’s a safety issue. Average planet fitness with average amount of machines. Sometimes gets too busy, but it’s mostly fine.

My daughter and her friend attempted to use their HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER PASS and were denied entry without a birth certificate. The manager Katie didn't let her in even after I showed up with black card member ship and my DL to verify I was her parent. We felt discriminated against heavily. I attend this gym all the time mostly with my family. Sometimes my husband, sometimes my daughters. On April 8,2025 we all went to workout together. The manager approached us before we started working out and told us no personal training was allowed. She was informed we weren’t personal training we were working out together. She further went on to tell us no recording in which none of us had a phone out doing such thing. Then she threatened our membership! I was appalled by this never had this problem with any manager before her in 6+ years I been going here.

Club manager wouldn't let me work out here even though it was covered by my insurance program. Instead of investigating the issue, she texted her manager and told me to call back tomorrow. She gave big Karen vibes (I know, seems ironic coming from a 1 star review) and was plain rude and lazy. Will not be going back because of Katie Zavesky (manager) and also because the club looked to be mostly treadmills anyway.

This gym has the honor of having the single worst free weight section on planet earth.

The free weight section is 1 mirror that everyone tries to get space in and most times you end up standing no joke 30 feet away from the mirror, everyone looks unhappy over here constantly, they could very easily fix this issue but they simply won’t, the manager will reply to every negative review with a generic “we’re sorry you feel that way” copy and paste post and no changes are every made here. Go to another location trust me.

As I battle the nasty after-effects of long COVID, I was looking for a place to improve my strength and endurance in a low-pressure atmosphere. The South Euclid Planet fitness provides me that space. I can do the 30-minute workout and push myself without exhausting myself or eating up significant portions of my days.

My only criticism is that the 30-minute workout area is not well-policed, which means a lot of people abuse it and use it to do personal training instead of its intended function. That can sometimes make it challenging to accomplish what I need to do in a timely fashion because people get on the weight machines while I'm trying to do the circuit. It's more nuisance than seriously a problem, but it would be nice if that area were better policed.

By far, the best location I have been too yet. There’s two floors, so everyone and everything is spaced out. Love this Planet Fitness location. The staff members are friendly and I witnessed them cleaning areas and equipment. Plus, there’s a lot of restaurants (Panera Bread, Pulp) and grocery stores (Whole Foods, Walmart) nearby with healthy food options.
My only two complaint(s) would be:
1). There were numerous people who exercised (not staff) that didn’t clean the equipment after they used it, and;
2). They need more large/long lockers in the men’s locker room.

2 weeks ago between 3&4am
I walked into the female picker room. Upon entering the shower area I noticed one of your male employees sitting in the stall. He was wearing his uniform with an old pair of Nikes. This morning, I arrived between 4-5am and the same employee was in his phone while sitting on the bench. He spoke and continued to sit there. I can tell he is becoming comfortable being in the female locker room during these hours which makes every woman I have spoken with very uncomfortable. The sign "male employee cleaning locker room," was posted, but he was not cleaning.

I challenge you to find a worse gym. I've been using the Black Card membership to workout at the many PF locations -- I've been to perhaps 9 or 10, this location is without comparison the WORST. For the last 6 months I've been through here... I was surprised to find the screen attached to each treadmill was... literally 3 feet to the right, attached to another machine. The ENTIRE ROW of 12 treadmills is aligned with the screen 3 feet to the right. At the outset I just figured they were moving things around. 6 months later I realized - everybody who works at this gym dgaf. I've already mentioned how absurd it is to attach each treadmill to the screen on the adjacent screen... 3 times over 6 months... this morning I woke up at 3 am by accident, went to this gym, and decided I literally cannot take it anymore. A few hours of work (by the staff or mgmt or ownership) could save hundreds of gym members from needing a chiropractor readjustment... literally no gym in America aligns each treadmill with the screen to the adjacent machine. In related news, the men's locker room smells like an ACTUAL OUTDOOR LATRINE. My suggestion is checkout Esporta fitness in Legacy Village before signing up here, only go to this place if you wanna remind yourself you suck and aren't even deserving of a "normal" gym.

(Also I just read through the "positive" reviews of this gym... and those reviews aren't legit. Walk through the place and find out for yourself)

This location is very extensive. It has two levels and so many options of machines to use.
