Just wanna know what time you guys stop people from tanning before you close? I always workout during the day but opted to this evening instead. After my workout I went to the front counter, 12 minutes till 9:00, and I was told I couldn’t tan because you close at 9:00. There were several people still in the gym working out, even as I got in my car and drove away. I’m just wondering if there is a time that you stop allowing people to tan? I’ve never had the issue before because this was my first evening visit. Thank you.

This is the best Planet Fitness I have attended in my 11yrs as a Planet Fitness member. They have an amazing staff. Daylan and Jacob are always pleasant, knowledgeable and ready to help. The cleanliness of this gym is superb compared to others in the area.

I want to speak to an actual HUMAN about massage tables and such. If i HAVE to talk to a computer about it then make it simple: "massage chair" "hydro massage table" don't try to be fancy with the names. Also use different numbers to help eliminate issues, don't use a 1 and a 2 for both the tables AND chairs, use new numbers. Also the workout is already public, how about ya add 2 more inches to the shower curtain so that I don't have to shower in public. I miss Bally Vic Tanny ffs at least they had a jacuzzi. On Saturday August 30th I went tanning I rushed out the door forgetting my 2 rings and a bracelet 1 of the rings was one that my dad got me and he is no longer alive it is very sentimental as soon as I relized they were not on my fingers I called witch was probably 29 mins max I called planet fitness several times before someone finally answered witch was a male I can’t remember his name I was so worried abou Making sure he got my rings I told him who I was and and told him if he could go check the stand up tanning booth that I left 2 rings in a bracket in there he said yes I asked him if he could do it while I was on the phone he said yes while on the phone with him he told me he found the 2 rings and the bracelet I told him to please put them up that one of the rings was very sentimental to me he said that he was going to put a note on them and that I could come get them whenever so I said that was fine so I went back on Monday September 1st and told them who I was and I was there to pick up my 2 rings and a bracelet that I left there the male that was working looked where the lost and found was and said here is a note I can’t read it but it does say a bracelet and held it up I said that’s my bracelet he said awe okay I said where is my 2 rings he asked me what they looked like I explained to him he said I don’t see anything like that I then told the male working that the male I talked to on the phone said that he found them so they have to be there the male working then pulled everything out and we looked together there was no rings like mine I then said let me see the paper that said braclet on it he showed me it and it says 2 rings and a bracelet I told the male working that it says 2 rings right here he then apologized to me and asked me if I would like to go through the lost and found together so we did and there wasn’t no rings like mine ! He then apologized again and said that he would have a manager call me and took down my information and also said he would pass it along I have yet heard from a manager and I have yet got my rings back! Something needs to be done about this ! I know for a fact my rings was found ! So someone working there had to have took them ! I want my rings back well atleast the ring my dad had gotten me

Our local PF is 400 miles away, and in another country (not county). Haven’t been in a commercial gym for quite a while. Been busy doing other things for a few years. When we decided to begin traveling extensively this year we considered both Planet Fitness and Anytime Fitness. This location was our first PF here in the US.
Gibby was working up front and made us feel like we belonged there, even though we’d never set foot in the facility.
That goes a long way in our books.

Original: This place is impossible. Hours are terrible. Staff are friendly, cleaners are stocked but actually getting machines and getting a good workout in at any hour is awful. Springfield needs another gym with better hours and more weight machines/cables and a real rack.

If its not bunch of people claiming they’re using 3 machines and a set free weights at one time, its a bunch of reilly and jonesy pairs sitting on one machine for two hours as they make eyes at each other and manage to fit in two sets of 10 in the midst of a good long chat.

Different than my local one, i'm from eight hundred miles away. The staff was friendly.The place was fairly clean. I'm getting tired of going to planet fitnesses that have no hot water or no water pressure. I specifically joined to take showers around the country and they all suck. It had lukewarm water to start and then as soon as I got soaped up it turned ice cold there was nobody in the shower so there's no reason why there shouldn't be hot water. Get with it Planet Fitness it's time to join Anytime Fitness

Today while at the Springfield location, I witnessed manager Christopher with the bald head and glasses. Where is the all black outfit every single day degrading and disrespecting a customer that was just asking for his help when I called after leaving to address the situation and basically to report the disrespect that I observed Chris giving a customer. I was told there’s nothing no one can do about it. There’s no one I can call. Chris said that there is no one above him I can call as well as canceled my membership for addressing the issue .

We’ve been to many Planet Fitness’, even ones in different states, and this one is so strict for no reason. It’s literally in Springfield, OH. We’ve never had to make an appointment for a hydro massage bed, and we weren’t allowed to have guests use them at this location; though, every other location we’ve been to they’ve never had a problem. Not sure why they want to be so strict and “different”.

I am compelled to share my recent unpleasant experience at this Planet Fitness location. The staff behavior was notably unprofessional, characterized by what appeared to be an aggressive attitude towards customers. This not only made the atmosphere unwelcoming but also involved unnecessary delays in service, contributing to a general lack of respect towards gym members.

It is critical for a service-oriented business like a fitness center to prioritize customer satisfaction, as it directly impacts their reputation and, ultimately, their success. Unfortunately, this has not been my experience at this location, and it seems I am not alone in this observation. Many others I have spoken with share my sentiments and have also chosen to take their business elsewhere.

This specific Planet Fitness that I'm currently writing about is in my own opinion, the best gym you'll ever come across. The atmosphere by itself is enough to bring a smile to anyone's face even on the worst of days. As soon as you walk through the front door, you're immediately greeted with a warm smile and welcomed inside by all of the fantastic employees. Every employee currently working at the planet fitness located on Bechtel Avenue in Springfield Ohio deserve a significant pay increase immediately, as well as regular bonuses, but even then, they deserve so much more! Especially Jo, who is by far the best, most helpful, and most respectable employee at PF. The best part is how clean and sanitary they keep the place. They're constantly going through sanitizing and cleaning every piece of equipment. I understand that everyone has their own opinions and ways of thinking, so with that being said, if you are still reading this I just want to thank you for sticking around and reading what I had to say about my personal experiences at this specific PF. I honestly do not expect anyone to believe a single word I've said, and I'm completely fine with that, but I do, however, want to encourage everyone reading this to actually take a few moments out of your day and go see for yourself. I promise you will not regret taking that first step through those front doors!

There are about 25 TV monitors that majority of them not usable, the picture is there but the sound is terrible either too loud or too low or no sound at all, so what's the use of having so many monitors if you cannot use them. Some of the staffs are rude. Handicap shower stall it's always used by non-handicap, and always something wrong, and right now shower is running so weak that is not usable

I live in Springfield and I just got a PF black card membership this year. I'm also a, member at Everybody Fitness in Fairborn. I like both locations. The one thing EBF has over this is a free room. In there we have a punching bag, sled with turf and other stuff. Also lots and lots of free weights.
This was my first time checking out PF for myself. I'm satisfied. My reason for purchasing a membership was so I won't have to drive 30 minutes every time I want to work out and even though I still like Everybody Fitness a little more, Planet does have great prices, is super clean, has working equipment and Tons of cardio machines to use so you never have to wait. I love it so far. I've only talked to staff once and so far I like them.

Was a tad bit confused today (Friday, 5th of May 2023) as I signed up with a membership, and being told it was 24 hours, it seemed like a good fit for my schedule. I attempted to go to the gym shortly after 10pm, to be greeted with locked doors. Looked at the hours sign, says “24/5” but really it’s 24/4. After being told it’s 100% open 24 hours 7 days a week, I couldn’t help but be a little annoyed before returning to my vehicle. I regret my decision in obtaining a membership with this gym. When the staff says 24/7, the door says 24/5 but it’s actually 24/4 and still 26.99 a month that I can’t use with my schedule? No thanks.

Coming from texas where the pf was 24/7 and the customer service was phenominal, this location has made me reconsider switching memberships. Closing so early on weekends makes it difficult to maintain my routine. Moreover, the management team may want to reconsider customer service training and sharpen their respectful demeankr toward customers, especially ones from out of state. I had no idea thst i had to provide my own eyewear in the tanning bed. I usually was issued the paper/stickers at the counter. The employee was exceedingly condescending especilly with my lack of knowledge on the matter and almost abrasive when i didnt have my wallet to pay for a 3$ pair of eye covers. I gestured an "ok thank you" and was greeted with a rather sarcastic "have a nice night." Unlrofessional to put it mildly. Will drive an extra half hour to a better location or switch gyms to avoid confrontation like this in the future. I hate to leave negative reviews, but hopefully this is constructive.

The gym itself is nicely set up and adequately clean. A no-judgement experience isn’t 100 percent guaranteed but I would say the typical person in there is kind and minds their own business. My problem with this gym is the confusing management and being told different conflicting things by different workers. I was allowed in as a minor one day with only needing to show my ID and prove my age, because August has kids workout for free. The next day I was refused and told I would need to parent to sign up an account and that I would not be able to enter as a minor. Going to the gym is already stressful enough as it is, a management team that are all on the same page would certainly be helpful.

Although I do enjoy coming here there is only one thing that bothers me the most and it’s the fact there is no rule set in place to allow a single person to use a single piece of equipment/or station at a time. I don’t get very much time to work out and when I come in during the normal rush hour because I don’t want to go late at night because of my schedule. it’s most of the times people using multiple machines and stations which in turn prevents people from wanting to get their workout done. Not only annoying but frustrating because now youre workout went from only an hour to now over that. And no the solution isn’t to just go use another station and wait for that one you want to be open, should be one person one piece of equipment/ station usage at a time. Is there anyway this can be some kind of rule set in place, I’m sure I’m not the only one to run into this slight problem.
