Since they have new management the club isn't as clean as it used to be. Paper towel stations are always empty. And multile ceiling LED lights are burnt out and flickering. Corporate needs to do some follow-up I've been a member for 9 years and thinking about going to another gym besides Planet Fitness

This place seems to be the smallest gym I’ve ever been to. And when I took a shower, something that usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes ended up taking almost 40 minutes because the water pressure was so low. I think they reduced the water flow too much to save water… but in my opinion, finishing the shower quickly would actually save more water.

Someone signed up and never went to the gym. I was charged like $27 a month with an annual fee of $52 a year. So someone stole like $600 from me so I will be forced to take them to small claims court. I emailed them and they never messaged me back. So I will be doing my credit card chargeback on them.

I was moving away for college and called in multiple times for weeks trying to cancel my membership and this location never picked up, I even tried calling a location near me who actually answered and they said I had to call where I had the membership at to cancel it. I continued to try to call the a couple times each week and now that the membership was payed for again this month they answered and said there was nothing they could do. Will not be getting another Planet Fitness membership if it’s that much of a hassle to cancel it.

The black card amenities start getting closed off at 7:30 pm . If you want to tan, cyro, wellness do anything you pay extra for , you must come before then or they scan those time slots under employee / manager names so guests cannot utilize them. And then as I watched her do it, I asked to use the wellness pod (I waited 5 minutes behind her as she was doing this process) and she responded (it’s down) but she actually just checked that time slot under blades name , the manager. I shouldn’t have to fight to use the amenities I pay for . The gym has really gone down hill the last few months .

Updated their spa services system and now there's a 30 minute interval for each 12 minute tanning session 🤔 so if you walk in at 11:02, you WILL have to wait almost 30 minutes, so plan accordingly. Also, be prepared to deal with a new system that wants to know what color your eyes, hair and skin are, among other things 😠 No sir. Now you're doing too much. If you didn't have the cheapest tanning in the county, I would just cancel my membership 😒

Always have a wonderful experience except this morning. Not sure who the 2 girls are working cause i rarely see them but they ignored me for a hot minute when i walked in to check in, didn't listen when i said 6 minutes for tanning, set it for 12. Glad i was paying attention to the timing. Rolls her eyes at people, overall just rude. But every other staff member is warm and welcoming and more than happy to help🩷

The gym and extras they offer are amazing for the price , however they have hired staff that have absolutely no idea how to answer questions I had about payment issues nor to show me the different options they had available when it came to the tanning beds or massage chairs . I went in and they had two women working the counter who BOTH WERE NEW. Apparently they had completed training but they certainly didn’t know how to help me at all. When the next day I was there was a whole different experience and I wish I knew the women’s name but she was amazing and without me even telling her what I had experienced yet she took it upon her self to help me and asking me if I knew how this or that worked ect. I also think that they should 100 percent show new clients around and that should be mandatory, the very first time ever there was very intimidating, and not everyone is comfortable in those setting as is, so to just take the leap to want to better your self is hard enough when having things like anxiety.. I could understand if they were needed at the front counter 24-7 but half the time you log ur self into the computer and. Really one person could be behind counter an the other to show new clients what everything is.. I Ben a member for about 6 months now an I just now no what each tanning bed/chairs in the back do and or are helpful for. I also was told by a nice women (who didn’t work there ) about the gym equipment and how I could use my phone to check out a demo on how it worked.. which I was greatly appreciated of.. but again that’s not her job. So as far as the price goes yes yes yes it’s worth it !!! But if you are a newbie like me I would most definitely ask to speak to a manager or someone with LONG term experience who will and CAN help you with any questions… unless the only staff members are NOTH BRAND NEW. Which personally I believe never should of happened to begin with. So that’s my main complaint is that they need to fix the staffing issues /hire more staff as well. Seems like there’s never anyone to be seen when walking into building on those “odd” hours of the night but that’s the whole point of them being a 24 hour gym. I hate to rant about that issue but it really upset me esp wen I wrote down both females names who I had the issues with, an spoke to a manger the next day and absolutely nothing was done about it… I do attend the one on laskey in Toledo Ohio an there are very few of these type of employees I’m speaking of but in my option they should be trained on every aspect of the gym an then also working with another person whose got experience .. other then that , I swear I do love this place! Lol

crowded, old and overweight people sit and take up machines for extended period of times. get off your phone and use the machine. if your taking more then 30 seconds to "rest" on a machine then your not there yet. I’ve been coming to this Planet Fitness for well over three years now. The staff and management are extremely friendly, machines are easy to get on, area is always clean. Unfortunately, I just close my account there because I do not feel that they took a young man, threatening me as seriously as I wanted them to take it. It seems like people being angry is normal so Planet Fitness instead of telling this person that they needed to find a different place to work out, that they were willing On letting a severely irate, individual be OK with his threats., And therefore, OK with myself, not wanting to work out there anymore. Again, the management and staff are wonderful. Blaine did a great job in diffusing the situation, but I fear that with this individual it won’t be the last time that this happens with him.

I’ve come to this Planet Fitness for years and it’s by far the best one i’ve been to! The facility is always spotless and clean. The gym is a great size and everything is spaced out great. It definitely gets busy but there’s usually room to do what you need and enough equipment for everyone’s use. The day workers are okay, but I usually
come after 9/10 and night workers are always amazing! Over the years Aliza has been a great help. She is always able to answer questions and is super nice and friendly. Recently, the newer team member Travis has been great too and very kind. Whenever I am here they always have a smile on their faces and are constantly cleaning the gym. Tonight, I had an issue with my account and both Aliza and Travis jumped in to help me with the problem. After only a few minutes they were able to figure it out. The two were so delightful and happy to help. Their kindness truly made my night. Thank you guys again!

I got a membership a while ago and I was younger then but I only went to check it out one time didn't exercise or anything cause I got to nervous and left. I’ve been going to this planet fitness for quite sometime now and it’s always been clean or being cleaned by staff. The staff member Aliza has always been super helpful and friendly when I’m coming in or leaving. She’s always greeting every single customer that walks in and telling them to have a good night when they leave. She always works very hard to get everything done even when the gym is busy with people! She always keeps up with the joke board so there’s something new on it all the time, which is pretty cool. She also gives advice good workout advice too, I’ve changed or started multiple workouts thanks to her advice!

So I have kept a planet fitness membership for the last 2 or 3 years after moving here and I thought man today Ill go tan before picking my kids up from school. When I get there it is a little busy so I check in get a hydro massage while I wait. Once I finished my hydro massage I go hang out in the lobby a few minutes goes by and I hear my name he says bed 3 so I go to my tanning bed after having time to put on lotion. The bed turns on for maybe 10 to 15 seconds. Once it turns off I go out front only to be told by the general manager it wasn’t my turn. Kinda confused I’m told I have to wait. I already did my hydro. I’m not necessarily mad about people making mistakes. Im more frustrated by having to get re dressed and made feel like it’s my fault. I only did what I was told to do by staff. Never had a problem until today.

We love all of the perks that are available using the blackcard membership, but this location in particular is amazing. It is always very clean. Never too crowded though the parking lot looks full. Employees are always cleaning in the exercise area. However the ladies showers need cleaning more often and the shower heads need do be cleaned. This gym was excellent! Very clean. And the workers were actively cleaning. I can tell that the workers took pride in their job. I’m a trucker. Of the 17 gyms I have been in around the world(since starting my weight loss journey) this was by far my favorite. Thank you to the employees that go above at that facility.
