Incredibly rude machine hogs who sit at their phone for long periods of time without doing much lifting.
Ironically the gym has a sign that says no cell phones, which is completely ignored.
If it happens towards the end of my workout, I just wind up leaving without that exercise that day, because the cell phone/machine hogs will be at the machine longer than i'm willing to wait.
I see a couple of people doing this, most visits there, and I workout in early afternoon when it's slower. I'd hate to be there early evening when it's swamped.

The staff at the Willowick location is very friendly and they keep the gym very clean and tidy. Some of the young men working there have even opened the door for me upon entering because I walk with a cane. I never feel uncomfortable because of my handicap and I am very happy with the condition of the equipment as well

this is the worst pf as it is because the lighting is horrendous & people who come here are rude & talk on their phones etc. i have a small duffle bag i workout with because i have a bunch of equipment in it such as a barbell pad, deadlifting belt, bands, jump rope, gloves, ankle straps etc that i need when i’m lifting. i was told mid workout that i can’t have the bag with me because people steal weights and i need to put it in a locker. i need the stuff during my workout that is the whole point so i explained that & offered to bring it up after my workout for them to check it before i leave. she said ok that’s fine. minutes later i was approached again mid workout by a man who said i can’t have the bag, it’s literally the same size as a backpack which they said is acceptable. makes no sense. i asked him to just check the bag when i leave cause i need my equipment he said no and said he can give me a small bag. that won’t fit my stuff though so how would that work? i’m 5’0 100 pounds i don’t have any interest in stealing weights i just want to workout!!! had to go to another pf that doesn’t do this & now i lost time in my 2 hour window i had today to lift when i offered a simple solution. unreal.

Can the Willowick location please not let people come in an set up tri pods on the floor while working out this is a judgement free zone an alot of people are already self continously enough we don't need to be recorded as well. I thought this place was better at enforcing policies an rules but I have seen a decline in care about what guests do. Bring whole jugs of water an full gym bags on the floor when a locker room is provided. Paper towels aren't stocked, equipment is all over the place an not put back in proper spots to find later.

Disabled access shower head has little to no pressure and the seat in the shower cubicle does not raise upright fully.

A lot of soap scum on the shower walls.

The cubicle next to the disability cubicle had better water pressure but the water handle is loose, so loose that midway through showering it flopped onto the hottest setting which is scalding.

I did see an employee mopping prior to entering the shower so that was a great sign. Just need some regular service to the fixtures and removal of soap scum.

Their tanning beds aren’t cleaned properly. I have had to request that the tanning bed be cleaned after noticing someone else’s skin oils all over the acrylic… so gross. This happened more than once.. I clean the bed with my own cleaning solution now just incase it’s dirty. Bacterial infections can occur because of the lack of cleanliness….

I didn't truly appreciate this gym until I moved to the west side. I will occasionally drive the 30 minutes there just because it's the best one in Cleveland. Lots of space, even though it is occasionally crowded, there's always equipment available. The locker room is large with plenty of benches and lockers, and the tanning area is exceptional. I miss this gym. I wish some of the other locations were more about the clients' experience and less about getting as many clients as possible.

Everything about this place is disgusting. The managers are disrespectful and not helpful at all. I’m not sure if there’s some type of scam that’s going on here, but they’ve been charging me for a membership I’ve canceled several times. Just this month alone I’ve been charged over $125.00 and the managers just don’t care. I’ve never seen a business be ran like this. I find the place very reverse racial! There's a couple ladies that work in the morning part and full time. They need to be removed. Eric the manager has done a wonderful job through all the renovations and the rest of the staff is warm and friendly! This is my opinion only but others feel this way! If you're only working one day a week why bother? If you don't like your job find another job because it seems like that's the main problem here! Opinions may vary!

Update: still won't cancel my membership. Was just charged again. Been trying to cancel since at least March. They won't even let me downgrade. Just keep charging me and ignoring my calls. Looks like I have to go in and make a scene just to get them to cancel.

I told them if I again come in to staff at the counter staring blankly at me as I said good morning, dirty locker rooms and COLD SHOWERS (hair wads, mop bucket left empty in front of showers, missing tiles.) I was never coming back. I'm done. It has gone way down hill since I joined a couple years ago. I called 2 minutes after I left to say I wanted to cancel my membership. They didn't even ask why? He said you can come in or email. They don't care about keeping members happy... Only collecting their $25 a month

During my workout between 10:40 pm and 10:50 pm at this location, I experienced an injury due to the lack of safety protections. A piece of metal struck my hand. When I went to the front desk for assistance, I found that the staff lacked proper first aid training, and the first aid supplies were expired.

What is up with the lady that works on Sat morning?! She looks/acts miserable. Myself and three other customers were at the desk and she did not say a word to any of us not even a hello. Even if your having a bad day a “hello good morning or thank you” can go a long way. I asked her a question and she rolled her eyes. This is not the kind of person you would want to be the first/last person you encounter when you enter/leave an establishment. Hope her day/attitude gets better.
